They've been calling me 2x a day for a week now when I'm at work.  My wife has answered the phone. It's a woman who knows my name and asks that I call back this number (The number is actually 1-877-697-7067 but the first digit shows up on my caller ID as an 8 for some reason.). I checked a few phone number search websites and saw that it was Bank of America. Since I have an account with them, I figured I had better call back, just in case there was a problem, though you'd figure the caller ID would say Bank of America if it was legit. They hadn't asked my wife for any personal information so I went for it.

I called the number tonight and got a recording saying that Bank of America shares customer info with their partners. If I'd like to opt out and put my number on their "Do Not Call" list, press 1 - if Ican 'd like to be contacted press 2. I pressed 1, then the recording asked me to enter my 10-digit phone number.  After I entered my phone number it said that I would be added to their "Do Not Call" list, but it could take up to 30 days to take effect!

I took out a mortgage on a new house recently and before I could make the first payment, the bank sold my mortgage to Countrywide.  Then, still before I made the first payment, Countrywide was bought out by Bank of America! So now, apparently, Bank of America can pass my personal info to anyone they want without giving me the opportunity to opt out first. Wonderful.

They call repeatedly and don't leave a message. It is very annoying specially with a baby at home! My call blocker is full and I can't block these people without taking some of my already annoying blocked calls off.

I've never and will never like Bank Of America. Those calls are annoying me and my family, they are calling several times a day even after I told them I don't need anything from Bank of America or partners.

I don't bank with them but Countrywide was bought out by those suckers of BOA. Wamu and Chase you have my business and my respect. I am looking forward to refinancing my mortgage with another bank.

Debt Collector
This number belongs to a debt collection company and they are looking for my dead beat brother.  How they got my number is a mystery but they've been calling for years and I tell them where's he's at and they still call.  They truly know how to annoy people.

Same number for me.  They keep calling in the morning, when I answer no one there.  I call back it says place your number in their so they can take you off the list then hit one.  You can do it over and over and over again and the one will never take your number.  It's a complete hoax.  It also says it's from Bank of America...I tried hitting 0 for operator then it just says no one's able to take the call for now, thank you bye, bye.  GRRRRRRR.

Received calls every few days, did not answer.

Called number back, it's Bank of America, you can add your number to their do not call list by pressing 1 and then entering your phone number and confirming.  Message says it takes up to 30 days to be removed.

In same boat as "J." above, unintentional BoA customer via CountryWide buyout.

I hate them as well, I'm another Countrywide mortgage holder that got forced over to BoA in the buy out.  BoA sucks - I'm getting the random phone calls too, at all hours... very annoying.  And the junk mail.  Not to mention, Countrywide had reduced my escrow payment and even sent me a check for the overage, as soon as BoA bought them out.. my payment went up... total B.S...  Raise my payment and and SPAM up my home phone.

They call daily.  Leave no message. Caller ID shows this number as "unknown number" or "private number." Very annoying.

If it's BofA, I will write a letter and report them.

Calls twice a day for about a week or so.  No message left.  When I finally picked up the phone, there was only a hangup.

These people start calling my home at 9:30 AM and call at least once or twice throughout the day. My mortgage was through Countrywide but now it's through BOA. Now I am on BOA's list. I finally answered the phone tonight and was asked if I would agree to have information sent to me in the mail about a home appliance insurance policy that costs $40/month. Not interested.

Constant phone calls daily, never an answer and never a message. Our mortgage changed from Countrywide to BoA recently. Never had this happen before. I hate BoA and Wells Fargo, would never do business with them anyway, only got stuck with BoA because they bought Countrywide.

This is getting absolutely rediculous. We have blocked so many numbers fro Bank of America to get them to stop their harrassing phone calls and they STILL get through with new numbers. We have filed complaints with the FCC and DNC and they STILL harass us. When is it going to stop? Why do they think that harassing us will make us open an account with them or even THINK about using them for anything. We are honestly ready to shut off our home phone and just use cell phones it's getting so bad.

CALLED SEVERAL TIMES AND TOLD THEM "NO" AND TO "STOP CALLING SEVERAL TIMES" BUT TO NO AVAIL.   They claim to be Bank of America calling which we feel they are really a telemarketer.   I told them if they call again they would be reported to the FCC.   Who is this really calling.
