They keep calling my cell phone and leaves no message. Calls on average 3 times a day. I have no idea who it is.
Laura 2011-06-06 21:04:44 Unknown
Just called me, but I didnt answer. I also applied for a loan from Sallie Mae recently, so I'll just assume its them though I dont plan to answer if they call again.
David 2011-06-06 21:04:44 Unknown
The call claims to be from Sallie Mae; and although I did sign up for a loan, the first question the man asked me was for my COMPLETE ssn. I do not give out my complete social security number over the phone EVER--especially not for "verification purposes".
Whether it truly was Sallie Mae or not, I don't care.
Andrew 2011-06-06 21:04:44 Unknown
It is an automated message from Sallie Mae who claims to be named "Amy" but it is obviously just a computer recording (how stupid do they think I am?). They call every day without fail and even as late as 8:30PM
debd 2011-06-06 21:04:44 Unknown
Message is from Sallie Mae claiming that I contacted them (which I didn't) and they're returning the call.

I just missed a call from them on my cell phone. I did recently apply for a student loan from them. However, they didn't leave a message.

They keep calling me. I told them I wasn't interested but they keep calling me just the same. They are calling my house at least 3 times a day. They have called me as much as 11 times a day. I filed a complaint with the Attorney General. This borders on harrasment.
Jennie Smith 2011-06-06 21:04:44 Unknown
Yes, they call me about five times a day! Which is starting to bug me...
AH 2011-06-06 21:04:44 Unknown
It was Sallie Mae-- you may have got the call in regards to someone that put your names as a cosigner on a student loan application.
mcduncan 2011-06-06 21:04:44 Unknown
Its another credit scam. The recorded message tells you to call them about saving tons of cash on your credit cards. If you return the call you get a really bored sounding person who hangs up when you ask any questions about their business.
Goofy 2011-06-06 21:04:44 Unknown
Have you visited a Sprint store recently? It might be a survey from them
Erin 2011-06-06 21:04:44 Unknown
This number has been calling me for two days without leaving messages.
Dee 2011-06-06 21:04:44 Unknown
I am getting the same on my cell phone. They call me several times a day and leave no message.
Jillyo 2011-06-06 21:04:44 Unknown
Keep calling at least twice a day and leave no message. Who is it?
Sydney 2011-06-06 21:04:44 Unknown
Called my unpublished home number.
Dee 2011-06-06 21:04:44 Unknown
Yes, it's Sallie Mae. I'm pretty sure they were calling regarding my loan.
student587 2011-02-25 14:43:50 Unknown
You're a moron.
Amy 2011-01-18 16:57:35 Unknown
This number has called repeatedly. Not only my cell phone but my house as well. They have now started to leave voice mails in spanish. Very annoying.
Kevin 2010-10-04 13:09:30 Unknown
Are you stupid or is this just a trolling post?
debd 2010-09-23 00:03:48 Unknown
I've been getting messages several times a week from Sallie Mae about an inquiry I made to the (which I didn't). I refuse to call them back--how can I get the calls to stop????
deuce2n2 2010-09-15 21:40:27 Unknown
Duh, Sallie Mae is a reputable loan company! Do you homework!
Sarah 2010-09-09 19:49:10 Unknown
I go to a community college and Sallie Mae is my lender for my student loans. https://www.salliemae.com/
Haha 2010-09-08 20:56:28 Unknown
Jon, you're an idiot.
Jon 2010-09-07 13:22:24 Unknown
Sallie Mae is a scam! Obama signed a law against people like them and they continue to go through their process....noticed if they are mailing you with a code to get better interest rates that a red flag, also if their website is a "dot com" it is not valid. Besides I called FAFSA and they have never heard of Sallie Mae...Do Not Use Them!
Mike 2010-07-06 16:21:11 Unknown
This is Sallie Mae calling you to inquire about your pending loan application.
Laura Hayre 2010-04-29 22:03:27 Unknown
how do you get them to stop calling?
Christopher 2010-04-12 18:40:35 Unknown
This number is for Sallie Mae Educational Loans.
Jackie 2010-04-09 20:13:23 Unknown
Same here. I think it has something to do with the "employment" scam NES. They called me a couple times from a different number, but I ignored them and it stopped for a couple of weeks. Then this number started calling me yesterday multiple times. I've ignored all the calls so far, but I think it's either NES with a different number, or they sold it to someone else.
gary 2010-04-08 14:21:58 Unknown
Ya it calls me too and never leaves a message.
sarah clearwater 2010-04-05 15:26:50 Unknown
This number calls me multiple times a day and never leaves a message. I have no idea who it could be
