The 800 number lacks a formal greeting and the so called customer service reps are rude and interrupting. Did not get a good feeling. The website they gave me is different than the company name. I am just not comfortable. Not to mention how defensive they are in the responses above and on the phone. I should not have to ask you the name of your company and you shouldnt have to explain why you are a leg
it one.

I work part-time here at qualification intake department not doing the calls but as a freelance webmaster (That's how I found this website). In my honest opinion, there's a lot of mixed reviews in regards to how the postcard looks like and yada yada. Know what I see? I see a bunch of names of people who's homes have been successfully lowered of their rent payment, which means they can probably pay and keep their homes. The most important part is that this business exists for a reason and it's to save homes. They do a great job doing it too.

There's many reasons why people may not be happy from which I seen with my own eyes. One main reason I see is.. "Rent payment drastically reduced but still unable to pay the monthly payment with their current income." It's a sad market and a sad thing to see.  My parents lost their homes during foreclosure in 2008 and what these people do are simply something I wish to have known then but oh well lol

Just my honest opinion as a good citizen. Take care everyone!

The company never charges for anything. Your misinformed about the fact that we charge, because we don't and never have. All firms that are in our network are in compliance with SB-94 and the FTC law MARS. We are aware of all of the laws in place and ensure that every law firm we work with complies with them. Rather than make false accusations online. Call us directly and voice your concerns so we can prove legitimacy. If given the opportunity we can make you feel comfortable.

we too almost got suckered in thinking it was HUD. Lesson learned to read all the fine print. Tried to google the company, nothing came up. was told by the intake person that he could forward me all the info I needed about the co. they are't on the web because they are so good the are by referral only. HA HA! I was also told that we would have to pay 3000.000. The intake person did not like that we decided not to "buy a pig in a poke" and he was rude after we said no. go figure.

Which is why in big letters you put HUD, and in little ones qualify that you aren't a government agency.

Also,
People can't pay because of the situation they are in!  They need the money to live on.
What if you can't help?  Then people are out of money and on the street?

Please give me the name of the company that referred you to the Operation Hope.
I called them to and they sent me to a councelor that told me that because my husband works the bank can't lower our principle even though we may be entitled to this program.  Wendy said they are only helping the unemployed right now.  Also, they can't help us because we are at a loss budget wise.

Thank you

Your company charges money upfront and try $5500.  Also, if you are that good and can resolve the problems so quickly then why not let the people pay only after you help them!  Shouldn't take money unless you can help the person.  What are the attorney's names?   They said that they had called my lender and worked out a deal with them but they never called them.  Only after I sign and give the retainer fee then you look into it and see if you can do something,   There are California Civil Codes that say you are not to take money upfront.  Anyway, it's hard to pay someone when you are not completely approved and the bank agrees.  The bank doesn't have to agree and would rather foreclose and get what ever cash they can get.

Yes the relief council is indeed legitimate. They assisted me in determining what programs I qualify for, then were able to connect me with a real estate attorney.

I received a permanent modification in 2 weeks!! Without the relief councils help and advice I would not be in my home today. I honestly feel like I have a new lease on life. This organization is ABSOLUTELY LEGITIMATE.

My sister was also having difficulty and I had her call, they determined that she did qualify and told her exactly what she needed to do, and advised her to continue on the process with her lender. In 3 weeks she received a modification and completely due to this company advice.

So again i am taking the time to write this to re assure anyone who could have doubts. The relief council never charged me a dime. They connected me with an attorney who helped me, and then told my sister to continue to work with her lender. You CAN TRUST them.

I have never spoken to anyone named derek, but this company truly saved my home and family.

How is this company a scam? I called and they got me in touch with Operation Hope which is now helping me modify my loan. Without their free education and advice i would have not known what to do-

We are not a scam. I have personally assisted over 100 homeowners and can prove it. I do not appreciate false accusations.

If this person would READ the bottom of the card, they will clearly read that the qualification intake department is not a government agency.

Also the Qualification Intake department  is an advocate of promoting equal housing opportunity. The logo on the card is CLEARLY the Equal Housing Opportunity logo, and NOT the HUD logo. Equal housing opportunity administers enforces establishes policies that make sure all Americans have equal access to the housing of their choice. We assist to make sure you are informed of this equal opportunity and the rights that are made available to you.

So before this "neveragain" individual makes accusations, they should take the time to READ the card they are calling off of, and if they were to LISTEN to what I say when i speak they will know we are NOT HUD and NEVER have claimed to be HUD or a governmental agency.

And again this "neveragain" says read the fine print....well phantom "neveragain" we know we are not a government agency...that is why we say we aren't on the card. If you wanted to speak with a governmental agency then by all means...call one. If you had asked me directly for a governmental agency contact...that would have been provided.

But no...instead you call in without reading the card. You make false claims against myself and the organization I work for because YOU are ignorant.

Since this person has already put my number down I welcome any further calls to discuss this.

Please don't assume some of us a "poor suckers" I happen to not be a "poor suckers" and some people do fall into hard times and are hard working, law abiding citizens.  Even though I called I did so with healthy scepticism and actually I am glad I did because I now posted this "Derek's" phone number he gave me and perhaps it can help in tracking down the scammers.  The postcard I received did have a number on it  877-700-5557 and the person I spoke with gave me his number 323-456-1912.  What I found rather interesting is that the last four digits of the 877 number i.e., (5557) is the same numbers in the REAL government program only transposed the gov't number ends with (7555). I believe another trick to the eye type of maneuver.
