On June 01, 2010 my mom received a call from a Nicole Taylor X-475 she told my mother that I had a refund from Pima County Arizona. First, of all I don't know how this so called "refund company" even got my mother's phone number. Secondly, I have received a refund of an overpayment in Pima County before and they have issued a check to me directly without calling me from an 877 #. Don't know what kind of scam it is but its definately a scam. BEWARE of this NICOLE TAYLOR!!!!

April, 2010 - I had a message on my answering machine from a Nichole Taylor at extension 296.  She said that I had a refund from Pottawatomie county and left a call back number of 877-701-9592.  I felt this was a scam because if I had refund due me from the county I felt they would call me rather than someone at a toll free number.  I ignored the call and after reading the about message I am glad I did.

October, 2009, my brother received a call from this number. Someone named Nikki told him that they were trying to locate me because of unclaimed money that they were holding. My brother who lives in another part of Texas called and gave me the message. I called this number November 10 and left a message to call me back. They called me back November 16 and Nikki told me that I had overpaid Dallas County and the funds were returned to them, then proceeded to give me my previous address. She asked me to verify my SS#. When I refused, she gave me the last 4 digits and asked if that was correct. I told her I couldn't do that either over the phone. She then gave me all 9 digits and said she would send me a form to sign, agreeing that all the information was correct so that they could have it on file in case they were ever audited and after I send it back they would then issue a payment to me, minus a 15% fee within three to four weeks. As of today, December 15, I have yet to receive a form. I called her back and left a message about two weeks ago. When I called again the next week, they had put some kind of block so that a call from my number would not be accepted. My concern is that they have my SS# and previous address. I did not give it to them, they already had it and somehow got my brother's number. I only list my brother in case of an emergency. When you call the number it says the company is National Center for Unclaimed Funds.
