several calls from this 877 703 5510 over the past 2 days

I get hundereds of calls from this and other numbers and I want it stopped.  I m going to start saving nd sending the numbers in.

Robocalls are ILLEGAL, unless you have previously agreed to accept them.

I too received a call from this number.  I have NO affiliation with WRA party.

Your advice to "listen to the whole call" is bullschit as well.

This is a Wildrose Party number. And, trust me, I've received several calls a day over the last 2 weeks from them. Usually not "robocalls" as WRA claims in the media, but actually WRA STAFFERS on the other end of the line who I've asked numerous times to remove my number from their call list. Each time I've made that request, I've received even more calls from them in rapid-fire succession. Apparently blatant harassment is part of their party platform.

Pls make informed decisions in your voting.  For those annoyed with unsolicited phone calls, the source of these calls may not originate from the party identified in the voice message.  WRA has become aware of fraudulent automated dialers incorrectly identifying the caller as the WRA party.  WRA has taken action to address this serious matter.  See attached link for WRA's complaint to Elections Alberta and the RCMP.  http://news.nationalpost.com/2012/04/20/wildr ... ion-complaints/

I was just away from my phone for about 6 minutes, and had 3 missed calls from this number!  WTF?!  BTW, Kelly, there was no message.  I am most definately NOT a WRP supporter and on the national do not call list (I realize the do not call list is as useless as...well, as useless).
Around election time, I do expect a bunch of calls, and I do answer almost all of them.  If I'm away from my phone for 6 minutes and get 3 missed calls, I don't think they will like what I have to say if I do answer next time.

It is a call for a local political rally for the WRA, I am a WRA party member, so they have my number, and I expect calls like this, if like John (above) you have received this call, and you have not indicated support for the WRA prior, I would suggest listening to the recording, there is a contact number for their office near the end of it, and contact them to be removed from the call list, or even to voice your concern about the call, because they should only be targeted to supporters, and only for events in your local area.

Robocall from Danielle Smith, leader of the Alberta Wildrose party.

First: incomplete Call Display information - name 'UNKNOWN' on TELUS' system.

Second: robot blabbed (and blabbed and blabbed) into my answering machine.

Third: If you want me to call another number in order to register for a town hall meeting give it to me more than once.  Danielle may like the sound of her own voice but after three passes through her message I'd had more than enough of it.

Fourth: No election has been called in Alberta.  Why are you bothering people?

This number called and went right to voicemail.

It was from the Wildrose Party in Alberta calling for an upcoming rally.  Now they will definately not be getting my vote!
