Got a call this morning.

i called this number back. telemarketers for verizon.

Ok, I called it back. Was Verizon offering services & promotions. Told them to take me off the list. He said no problem, may take up to 30 days & if I have any questions to call them. Seemed legit, he didn't ask for any info.

Called again.  On the advise that these type of calls should be answered (and then hang up so it costs them money) the caller asked to speak to me, by name.  Since I'm unlisted and on the Do Not Call List, I said "No but you can kiss my A**".  He hung up.  Guess that didn't appeal to him.  Sad.!

This is a caller from "verizon wireless" asking for the registered party.  When I identified myself as the spouse who is authorized to respond, there was a brief pause, then confirmation.  This caller then said "to confirm, please tell me your password for payment."  Hang up immediately, this must be a SCAM!

Damn coupon hawkers...wish they would just go awawy

Claimed to be from Verizon Wireless, looking for an employee. Polite older Southern gentleman. Asked him to call back. Have gotten calls from this number before that were hangups, so I don't really believe it's even remotely legit.

Someone PRETENDING to be Verizon Wireless.  VZW does NOT make sales calls to your home.  Beware!

Received a call from this number the other day. Verizon Wireless, claiming that my contract was up and wanting to sell me new phones. Though my contract isn't up for another eight months. So I'm not certain what that was all about.

Just call the number!  It's an easy check: Verizon (most like to sell a service)

yes, recieved 2 messages from this within 2 hours with no message.  Very strange

Yeah, 2 x in 2 days, never a message

Also, no idea, but they've called me 3x in the last 2 days...
