This number calls morning- noon and night.  I never answer, just open and close the lid to my flip cell phone.

Isn't there a number you can call - like *69 to block the call from ringing?  Or is it *69?

877-704-4380.. be careful ppl.. do not give your bank info to this number..  they call me saying we are from credit one bank. What's ur card number sir. But I know it right away they are not real bank.. they are so stupid n unprofessional.

hae been receiving robocalls for sometime know - latest one today left 8777049452 as the call back number did not have name of person nor details about debt/returned item... called back number and got CRA from virginia beach - collection agency - business closed call back monday please message - robocaller identified himself as from gamble krause and associates. robocalls run amok - filed complaint with FTC hopefully other will as well

I received a call from this number this morning from a rude woman named Kim. When I called back, another rude woman named Christine answered and would not give me any information about where she was calling from. This is a scam. Do not give out any information - especially to a mean, rude, obnoxious woman named Kim or Christine. She would not identify where she was calling from. She shouted at me "have a nice day, sir." Terrible experience. When I asked her where she got my private cell phone number, she said that it was none of my business. Hang up on these people immediately and report the call so the don't continue harrassing people.

This # called my girlfriend cell phone this morning.Casey Price was very rude to my girlfriend. She disclosed info and implied that i needed representation. I called and they were talking about a bill that happened 8 yrs ago. I live in Wa and Wa is a closed state, and most of the files they have are past statute of limitation to recover. So even paying it off wont help. Scammers like this make it hard for a real collector like me to make money. Do no pay these guys.

I got a call from a company calling themselves CRA from 757-271-7549 at 8:55am EST today.  They said they were trying to collect a debt.  I asked what debt was that?  they said they were pulling it up and before he pulled it up he asked me if my name was bruce carson.  I said NO.  Then he asked me if i knew anyone named "Bruce", I said NO.  Then he asked me if my name was Jimmie.  I said NO.  Then he asked me if my name was Ramone.  I said NO, why are you asking me all these names?  I also told them i've had this number for a solid 10 years.  He said he took my name out of the system.  they clearly had the wrong info.  sounded shady.

keep receiving calls on my cell phone (in my maiden name) for my husband, we are newly weds and do not share any accts.    attitude and threatening type messages, must call back today.  she leaves 877-704-9452 as cell phone says "Bobbie", as her call back.   He does not have any unpaid debts.  I've heard On-Star has done this type of thing to keep people enrolled, we only had free trial and one 3-month promo paid at time of call.........the 757-271-1549 number that is caller ID, is CRA (I called both numbers back) and is recording to hold, yeah right, take your time, I'll wait......

I just got a call from them looking for my wife and when i called back, 2 of them hung up on me in mid convorsation and the 3rd person told me not to call them back ever again. what a scam.

Got a call from CRA this morning too on my cell phone which is in my husbands name.  They also called my work and asked for me by my maiden name in which my employer does not list me as.  They told them I did not work there.  I tried to call this 877-704-9452 Kasey Price from CRA left me this morning and i sat on hold FOREVER, no one ever came on the line.  From what I can find out they are trying to collect an old debt from me from a Qwest bill I had more than 7 years ago.  I will not pay them a dime for this because as many others have stated, they refuse to send documentation by mail...My attorney told me they by law have to notify you by mail of any debts owed or in order to seek legal action upon anyone!

I got a call on my work line from this # 877-704-9452 from a "Sherri" and then I called back to confirm what this was about and see what CRA was... They asked me for my direct#. I would not give it to them; I also did not give my last name so I gave them the "claim" they gave me earlier on their first call and sure enough after the lady said she'll check on this, she hung up on me. So this is a scam; although I don't know what info they are seeking--so beware!

This number constantly calls early in the morning asking for my uncle or whoever represents him. The caller is always rude and my uncle isn't in any trouble.

Husband talked to them today, and the fact that  i did collections for 10 years, I know these people are trying to collect old debts that were wrote off "scavenger debts"  he asked for them to send him information and they said they wouldnt until he committed to paying them  "he said NO"  PEOPLE do not committ to them, more than likely these are debts that are way way past the Statute of Limitations and if you committ to paying them without proof on paper the Statute starts over again.....THEY CANNOT SUE YOU    tell them this debt is past the Statute of Limitations and try and take you to court!!!  If this was a legitimate debt they would have no problem sending you any paperwork at all!!!!  If you can get their address this is the letter you send them, first check the statute of limitations in your state.

I just got a call from CRA - Nancy Henry - Asking to speak to me. Of Course I said I wasn't home. She said the matter was extreme important and I might not aware of the situation.This lady sounded very firm but would not release any other information.
At first I was concerned. But I realized that the number they called was a Cell phone and IT'S in my wife's name. I ask her to send information certified mail so that she could make sure I got the information. She refused and said the call was a one time only thing.

I then asked "So We shouldn't expect any further calls?" She just replied that it's important I call them back. Fat chance lady!!!!

Yes they called and lest a message on my answering machine regarding an *IMPORTANT* message...yea right what a scam.... when my boyfriend called back and asked about anything they needed they refused to give anything out like what their company was what the cra stood for they wouldn't say anything..Everyone beware dont even confim its you speaking act like your someone else..block the number to many scammers these days

877-704-9452 called me. The caller identified herself as Sara Kitchen but indicated no agency name. I told her I wasn't home but would take a message. She said the call was regarding case #1786642 and they needed a "statement" from me for some "preliminary paperwork." Sounds like a crock of sh*t to me.

Same thing here, a person that was named Sara said it was urgent that me or my rep. call her because of a serious matter............Like right dude.

I recieved a call from 864-674-8002 on 02/03/2011, and they left a msg saying it was very important i contact them, I did the reverse look up and even tried calling them back with a blocked number. If you call from a blocked number it will not allow the number to go through, so i tried calling from a different number that only 3 people have and i hung up once i got a recording stating this is CRA yada yada yada please hold for the next repres. I hung up the phone needless to say an hr later i got a call on the number that ONLY 3 people have and they left a msg saying please call this number ASAP its very important we speak with you concerning a finicial matter. Really!! LOL they didnt have the number until i called from it and never spoke to anyone and they didnt even know whos number they were even calling! Its amazing there still in business. Needless to say I did get an address and will be going that way over the weekend and im going to see if this is even place of business and Im going to the police!

I received a threaten phone call from the number 877-704-9458, telling me I need to call her back or else...hello...who does that.  When I called back I don't get a ringtone just a busy signal....

Yesterday I got a message from a Douglas Parks, he said my first and last name plus saying I need to call his company at 877 704 9452 back ASAP in regards to my upcoming holiday travel. Well we are actually flying to see my parents in Florida, leaving Wed. we where thinking this was the airline. So I called this number back and a guy named Casey  answered the phone, he said are you "my Name" and is this your SSN#. He had those correct!!!!!! Then Casey said you owe 5,690 for a delinquent capital one, how are you going to resolve it today? I told Casey that BS as I have never been delinquent on any account EVER in my life. I did have a Capitol One 8 years ago and I transferred the balance and closed it out. This Casey continued to try to bully me and he ended by screaming at me saying he will note that I will not cooperate and sent my file to a attorney in my jurisdiction.

I am worried about this as they have my name and SAN#? I did google they phone number and came up with a company called CRA "Consumer Recovery Associates" there is lots of negitive marks about this company.    I did call this company to request to speak to a manager over my concerns, well I got some Seth he said the samething as Casey "how are you going to resolve this?  we have evidence you owe this money?   I then told him NO its not mine he then yelled back and said I am forwarding this to our legal dept.       I called my states AG's office and started a formal complaint against these scum bags, they advised me to call the credit bureaus to but a fraud alert on my credit report to witch i just did.    Nice way to start out the holiday.

IMHO they should raid this company and get them a Jail Cell right next to Bernie Madoff.

I pulled my credit report nothing on there with Capitol One OR CRA.

Debt Galore Pantload.   YOU are the one that is wrong about the 1009C.  THAT is filed when a debt is settled, and the remainder is considered as income by the IRS.  If the debtor doesn't pay you, and makes an attempt to dispute either the debt itself, or the amount owed, then YOU CANNOT SEND A 1099-C to the GOVERNMENT.  NICE TRY THOUGH!
