Stated they were calling about a bad check i had wrote thru payday.com.  Saying I was going to be arrested on federal charges.  I would have to go to federal court.  Could not tell me any information on myself or where I worked.  Said if I paid them 840 dollars everything would go away.  This place is a scam.  Be Alerted!

Debt Collector
"Inspector Hoffstetler" left a message. Big difference between me and some others on here is they had my DOB and SSC...scary! The message said yesterday that I had one day to respond. Then today it said I have...one day to respond. He left the message and tried to make it sound like he worked for the state of Texas (Check division state of Texas is exactly how he put it). Looked that up and there is a check fraud division in Texas but when I replayed the message its pretty clear he is trying to be VERY careful not to say that he is part of THE check division of the state of Texas. They called me two months ago and said that they were sending someone to my house. When I asked for specifics they got really aggressive and I told them that my Husband would be more than happy to talk to them but I would not any more. I guess that is why they are trying a new tactic. Im not paying for something I cant get details on.

Stated they were calling because I had a check with Quick cash and I was going to be arrested for a check I had written and it was with the State and I had to go to District court, lied about alot of things that were not true, could not tell me what bank it was written on or who my employer was or where the company was located that I supposedly wrote this check.
