I have the same message as Jennifer, but my gift is a $100 Target Gift Card Voucher.

I called the number and they answer with "Are you calling about the gift card vouchers?"

Where did they get my number? I'm on the DO NOT CALL LIST, and I thought that meant DO NOT TEXT too!

The Text message I got was:

I have had this phone for over two years and my Name Is Not James.
I havn't visited their site.  If i had i would not leave my phone #.
I havn't done business w/Target since early Jan when they miss-cut a house key for me and i got a refund.

Got a text this morning sayin thank you for taking our visiting our site, call 1-877-706-6432 to claim your free $100 Target card voucher!

Curious, I called and some Indian guy with a strong accent was like "Hello, you're calling to claim your $100 Target card?" Me: "ummm...sure...." (i already knew this was a scam but wanted to know where they were calling from & how they got my #)

Talking very fast explaining over the details...he says i get a $100 Target gift card along with an additional $40 Walmart card. But i must pay the $7 shipping costs to get them. "So what is your Mastercard or Visa card #?" Me: "Uhhh excuse me? I just wanted to know where you're calling from and I had cut you off twice to try to ask you but you ignored me question" "***CLICK****" that fool hung up on me.

I Called 877-706-6432 to Claim my FREE $100 Target Gift Voucher! Hindu woman's voice answered and said that it is now a Walmart gift card in $200.00. they verified my alias online name and said thanks for participating in something in poor language, they verified my phone number then wanted my mailing address. Then she said the only obligation is to pay for shipping of $7.00(?) I said I was not giving her any ccredit card info. She said "you don't have to pay for this today or tomorrow but pay with a plastic card that had a balance of at least $1.00". I said I wasn't interested. She asked if this was because I didn't have a credit card? I lied, said yes. She said one moment please, then hung up.

I called it from another phone a very punjab voice answered and said tha it is now a Target gift card in 100.00. they verified my alias online name and said thanks for participating in something in poor language, they verified my phone number then wanted my mailing address and kept repeating that i could spend this at any target, then he said there is no obligation to buy anything, but the only obligation is to pay for shipping of $7.00(?) he said "you don't have to pay for this today or tomorrow but pay with a plastic card" I was confused, and thought this is a trick because he is twisting his words. I told him I didn't have a card, he was shocked and said, okay no problem thank you and hung up. Jerks are tryin' to get into our bank accounts for terrorist activities most likely. I wish someone in our government would stop them.

Called the number back and it's some Arab s*** that answers in a poor english accent "hello are you calling about the $100 target gift voucher?" take me off your disposable cell phone you camel humper.
