Scam!   Advertised in the Penny Saver.  Fraud and liars.

Hi Barb  or should I say Hi Barbara Quinn?  The "owner"  of the company?  How is your fellow crook, Michael Davenport?  LIARS!  I put all the work in and followed your very simple instructions and have no house!  The owners and banks have no knowledge of you or any of your stupid companies.  SHAME on you!  The anger you see is because people are pissed you stole the money that they desperately need in these times.  I will do everything in my power to see you in prison for fraud and theft.  That is my guarentee to you!

Thank you so much!  Their "new" company is called American Standard Online and the new "supervisor" is DOUG.  I have reported them to my State Attorney General's Office (CA) as well as the Federal Trade Commission.  Better Business Bureau is also investigating.

Funny how they promised me that it is NOT a long process!  I was promised a home within 3 months and that if I sent at least 30 letters, I would hear withing a week!  I sent over 50 and heard nothing because the homeowners have never even HEARD of theses fake companies.  Shame on you!  Remember:  What goes around, comes around, TWICE as hard!

YES, it is a scam, by Anchor House.  They also spam Craigslist with "TAKE OVER PAYMENTS" ads.

It's a home foreclosure telephone number. You call them for more information. (I think it's probably a scam though!)

When you call, they pressure you for your credit card number.  If you ask for details they get rude.  Avoid!

Follow your better instinct and stop wondering about whats already obvious to you. They are a scam!!! I worked there and I'm very ashamed. Very bad Karma. I hope to regain my dignity by telling you all not to even think twice about ordering that fictitious program. Not only very deceptive but completely just wrong. Not a single title search or home purchase has ever materialized, since they have been in business, out of over 23000 clients. Susan Quinn and Michael Davenport will certainly rot in hell.

i was looking for a house on craigslist and came across this add and called the number. i was all excited at first but i tryed to google there 805 number and nothing came up the guy ended up calling me from the 877 number i google it and thank god i found this posting.  when its too good to be it usually is. they changed there name to american standerd i googled that and its a plumbing place lol

yeah the do***ebag just called me too. Luckily I didn't pick up and have already found a place.

I don't understand all the anger people are expressing, perhaps they expected someone to just drop a house in their lap. I found all the people I talked with helpful and pleasant. Sure, you have to put in some effort but the payoff is I now own my own home! So I suggest all the people complaining that they follow the VERY SIMPLE instructions and the people at Anchor House will help you are much as possible. It takes such a little effort, the cost of a postage stamp for pity sakes! I think some people just want everything dones for them. I love having my own home in sunny southern California. Its everything I wanted and more. Oh, I did have to paint, oh my gosh. So people its there for you. Just don't be so lazy and expect  for $199 you can sit back and the houses come to you. My house payment is less than my rent. So, I am hoping to do this again in the near future.

Guy says hes with American Standard. $199.00 registration gets you into a home thats in pre-foreclosure and it is not credit-driven, based solely on income. I had gotten my purse but decided to type in the phone number(877-712-4464)while he was waiting for my cc info, and saw these postings. I told him what i found upon typing in his number and he tried to explain it away, but, i told him that i would just hold off on going thru with it. I'd rather be safe than sorry. Be careful everyone!

Well I'm from Johnstown, Pa and seen this ad on craigslist for a one level home that I'm desperately looking for since I'm disabled. I spoke to Gill and he told me about the $199. Totally refundable in 90 days if you don't find a house and the 48 hour transfer of deed ect ect ect... well when I asked if there was a website I could view terms and conditions he told me NO.  That's when I typed the phone number in Google and got this site.  Thanks for posting on this ad.. I'm glad I didn't get ripped off!

they suck because I just spoke with a woman who was more than willing to get me into a house. I asked her if they were going to charge me just to send me the address and listing for the particular house I found on craigslist (which was beautiful of course). She told me repeatedly that I would be charged the refundable $199 fee for the title, deed etc. When I told her I wouldn't pay the fee for the address and phone number she put me on hold. She got back on the phone and told me I would have to pay the fee and when I told her I am not paying $200 for them to do nothing she hung up on me. I thought that this was an odd way to treat a customer that you were so willing to help find a house for. I then went to google and found all of these postings about them so thank you for the information everyone these A***OLES need to be stopped!!!

Yeah I called the USA SELECT SERVICES myself and it didn't feel right talking to the guy but he wanted my card number but I told him I'd be in touch and hung up. He said the call was monitored but he was hitting on me on the phone making unprofessional comments which finalized it for me!

A TOTAL SCAM. USA Select Services say they help you in applying for Government Jobs. They say they have been in business since 1997 but if you check up on them, they just registered their domain in Oct. of 2008. They send you some paper work that is free on the internet. All they want is your money...$69 dollars for nothing. I WASTED MY MONEY AND MY TIME. STAY AWAY from this SCAM.

Called 877-712-4464 and was told about the Anchor House Finace.com business and was placed on hold and was connected to Gill. Told me about there business and how I could be in a house in just a day after finding the right one for me. $199 one time fee pays for a year of the site and all the paper work and they had a 90% success rate. I told him I needed to do some research and would call them back. He gave me a direct number for him so he could get credit for the call. I guess, commission or whatever. I didn't expect to see so many thing on line about how they were a scam. WOW. I'm glad a check this stuff out first.
