I've advised this company to add me to their "Do Not Call" list several times, yet they continue to call me on a daily basis. I'm now in the process of taking legal action against them.

Keep getting calls from "out of area" but when I talked to them they said their number is this.  The company name is something like "Dollar Savings" and they claim we won a free $100 Target gift card.  All we have to do is give our name, address, and pay a shipping fee.  THis seems suspicious to me, as the caller was obviously foreign and didn't ahve any of my information - seemed more like a phishing attempt.

Received a call from these people.  Sounded very Indian (not American Indian) and said his name was Robert Williams #2095.  They said I had won a $50 Walmart gift card and $50 in vouchers.  Unfortunately I kept on listening. Mid way through his presentation I went online and saw this was a scam and told them I was no longer interested in taking advantage of any offer.  They were not to be disuaded and put me to a recording. I promptly hung up and have now received 5 - 10 calls daily at my work # from these people.  I just hang up but they keep calling.

I have received dozens of calls from this outfit and explicitly stated that I did not want the gift card or airline tickets.  I put my wife on the phone and they refuse to talk with her since she isn't on the card. They have called various times during the day and at night as well.  They hang up on my wife now they won't even talk with her. To date I have not seen any charges on my credit card but I am watching closely.  There should be something the general public can do to stop this obvious scam.  They call early mornings, afternoons and even late night calls and weekends as well.  I will be going to the credit union tomorrow and cancelling my card.  I am tempted to even change my phone number to stop these nusiance  calls.

Just got a phone call from these people.  The guy had an Indian accent.  He said that I had won a 100 dollar Walmart gift card, plus he was sending me 2 tickets to hawaii.  I kept asking him what company was responsible for this and he acted like he didn't know what I was talking about, ony kept repeating that I had won a $100 dollar gift card for walmart.  he just wanted my mailing info, which i wouldn't tell him.   Finally I got him to tell me that it was the "Dollar Savings Club"  From Colorado Springs.  I had my computer out in front of me so I looked up what it was.  They had a D- rating on the BBB and the BBB had no info about the company, they had lot's of complaints.  Looked like an obvious scam.

I received a call from them on wednesday the 19th of January 2011 promising everthing that has been mentioned by you all already and I havent been effected by this company yet.  What should I do to avoid all their fradulent charges?

I spent too much time being pushed from one number to the next each telling me they were the ones who would help!! After I got pissed I just called bank got my card blocked & was told to go to bank fill out whats called a dispute form & they would get my money back proving I did not ok the charges!!

they charge from my bank $4.20. Who are they? Why they charge from my account? ;-(

I receive a bill from Dollar Savings Club in the amount of $59.85. I dont know what for. I refuse to pay. I called the  877-715-2370 number the phone is off.  The  order number is 2478524.  I have not received a phone call.

I ALSO RECEIVED THE SAME MAGAZINES AND WAS UNABLE TO NOTIFY ANYONE AND I HAD TO CHANGE MY BANK CARD 4 TIMES. HOW DO THEY GET OUR INFORMATION? I HAVE REPORTED TO FCC, HOEPFULLY THIS SOLVED MY PROBLEM, BUT WHAT ABOUT OUR CREDIT REPORTS?????

I received a letter which tells me that I have 60 days to try, but they are going to bill me $99 for a year for grocery savings!  I never sign up for and never agreed anything.

There is a 877-715-2370 number on the letter, but there is no agent.  What kind of the monkey business is that?  

Why do I cancel something I have never subscribed to????  How could some company do that?

I'm really angry at this.

I just checked my card statements and found charges on it from this number! Check your statements. Tomorrow I am taking serious action!!

Like you I did not pay attention to my credit card either. I had the same charges on my credit card. I called the number on my credit card. The Dollarsavingsclub was difficult to convince that I was not the one that ordered this service. They even had a recording and was persistent that it was me that made the agreement, they were also persistent that I "honor" my aggreement. I was persistent and kept saying NO!! I want it canceled. you already have 34.90 from me and I have rec'd no services so No more. Then I called the Discount Magazine number, the first person that I talked to was persisitent that I ordered and I was persistent that I did not. She tranferred me to her supervisor, the supervisor cancelled the order with no hassles. unlike the the Dolllarsavingsclub.

Three months ago, I got a call at my job from somebody saying was from American Express. I remember this person had already my card number and my home address, so I believed them. They mentioned that they will mail me some stuff, that I could review it and if I didn't want it I could just cancel it in 30 days or some thing like that. Later on, I got some kind of letter-add in an envelop (that I never opened until now!!!) saying that a company call The Dollar Savings Club was very glad I have join them, and I could start saving money on groceries if I only clik on their website (maybe it's true, but I do not really care).The letter also said that "customers wishing to cancel should contact our office within 30 days of finalizing their order. After 30 days of ordering we do ask customers to honor their promise to complete all payments".
Since I haven't paying the correct attention to my American Express charges until now, I found out I have been charge twice every month for $34.90. They also charge something extra, $4.20 a month, meaning more than $70.00 monthly. In exchange, I guess, this week, I suddenly got plenty of magazines, four different ones, around 16 issues, magazines that I do not need nor did i order. I am afraid they will argue that because I did not cancel it during the 30 day period, they will keep charging me until the end of this world!! I already called my AExpress card to stop all payment to this company.

They called me this a.m. at my job... A woman named Sandra who, like others have stated on this post, could barely speak english.  She also said I won a Target gift card, but I had to pay shipping and delivery.  Not giving some random person my info... I told her to send me an E-mail with details and info and I would look at it from there.  She didn't want to do it, so of course, I didn't go through with it.

ARC.DOLLARSAVINGSCLUB.. IS WHAT SHOWS UP ON MY BANK STMT. amt $4.20.. I didnot agree to this nor have I receiced anything from them but for this bank stmt.  There should be a law about people calling you and you saying NO and they force the bill thru like the customer service rep is making extra money if they turn in a yes for the product.  Well I said NO and I mean it.. Called them 4/6/10 and spoke with Tron.. He said the accout was already cancelled and he would refund the $4.20 back to me... He said that another company called me by phone and passed the info on to them... This is just like #877-715-0398.. The BBB should be informed of this matter..

This didn't sit right with me either. Someone named "Jenny Johnson" who couldn't speak hardly a word of English. How is someone with the name 'Johnson' unable to speak clearly??

I got a call from them and fell for their stuff gave them my info am changing my info at Bank tomorrow !!!

I received a call showing unknown number and they did exactly the same thing. The man's accent is definitely not native. He claimed that I got a free Target gift card and said he only got my number from some other place. I kept asking him if I have any liability to accept the gift card and he said it was totally free and not any service needed, what I need to do was just to accept it and receive the card. Then he told me his company name "Dollar Savings" and this toll phonon number. Very wierd, he then asked for my credit card information, then I noticed there was something not quite right.

So, keep away from that "Dollar Savings" company! It is highly possible a phishing call!
