Received the same message using same person's name, but claimed to be with the State of Arizona, and not Colorado like the other poster, looking for my ex-wife. I work for the FBI, so they picked the wrong guy to play this scam on. Will look into this Monday and see what's what.
NEVER GIVE PERSONAL DETAILS TO ANYONE WHO CALLS YOU, NO MATTER HOW LEGITIMATE THEY MAY SOUND. TELL THEM TO SEND ANY SO-CALLED BILLS TO YOU IN WRITING. BUT DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR ADDRESS OVER THE PHONE. A REAL DEBT COLLECTOR SHOULD ALREADY HAVE THAT INFO.
You might think that ID theft won't affect you because you already have lousy credit. But IDs can be used for much, much more. Such as making a fake ID so when the cops come to arrest that dude, they come to you instead. And YOU ARE the one who gets stuck in jail with they try to figure out that they got the wrong person!!

I got a call from someone claiming to be Jacqueline Monroe, a Process Server for the State of Colorado. They were looking for my mom and left a message asking me to have her call this number "in regard to a Court Order".
The call came in at 7:42 am my time.
