I have been receiving phone calls from 877-719-1923 on a daily basis, several times during the day late into the evening.  Whomever this is also calls on Sundays.

The few times I have answered, nobody is there.  They never leave a message.  After searching on the internet, I have found this number to be one linked to Van Ru Credit Corporation.

I have dealt with this company before over an outstanding student loan that I paid off.  Obviously, they take all the money and never report the payments to the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education, Guaranteed Student Loan Program.

Jamie, With Van Rue Credit Corpotation called my home and left a collection voice mail on my home answering machine. with definately a FDCPA (Fair Debt Collection Practice Act) Violation. Stating this is an attempt to collect a debt and any information will be used for that purpose only.Icalled the number back talked to tamara walker and   verified the last four of the social security number,and date of birth were incorrect. This message left on my answering machine is a big FDCPA Violation and I plan to file a complaint against her and the company. Collectors can also be held accountable for violation and both companies and collectors sued for these violations. Any person receiving calls from this company can also file complaints and should do so. look up the fair debt practice act. the laws are different by state.Many collectors ignore the FDCPA Laws and should be held accountable. So file your complaints. I will keep the message left on my recorder as my proof of the violation.

You all must remember, Van Ru is not the only agency that looks up people by first and last name. They are working to collect a debt that is owed. These employees should be removing the # and blocking it from their system, once verified they have the wrong party. Collections will always have a bad rep. Its very unfortunate, considering the Financial situation the U.S is in. Without these loans being paid for, you must remember that they may create a stricter policy to receiving financial aid, which may prevent our children from attending schools for higher education.

We get call from this company on a daily basis.  I've told them over and over that I do not have any information on the account or person they are looking for.  I told them to call 411 to locate the person.  Some how they got our number and won't quit calling.  I've informed them that I'm on a do-not call list and will be reporting these calls to my attorney.  They get smart with me and say "Give me your attorney's name and we'll call them".  They just threatened to keep calling and harasing us daily!  How can we stop them.  I'm fed up with this!!

This is Van Ru Credit Corporation.  They're calling me (again) looking for a guy that shares my last name and first initial (different first name).  I told them a few months ago that I'm not their man - they apologized and stopped calling. They some how tracked down my step daughters cell phone.

Been calling her twice a day.

I get calls from this number about twice a day.  I am at work.  
Sometimes they call at night.  I have tried answering and they hang up.  I don't know why anyone would be calling me from this number.  Does anyone know who this person and/or company is?  I don't owe anyone any money, etc.

I have been getting calls from this number for the past several weeks. Finally yesterday a lady left a message which included my name, therefore I was curious, so when they called at 8:08 this morning I tried to answer the phone and they hung up. I called the number back and they answered with Van.... corporation, when I asked what they had been calling for it was for student loans, which I don't have, turns out they are looking for people matching first and last names and calling randomly which is very annoying!!!  Had birthday and last 4 digits of social security, and middle initial to verify for person they were looking for.

This number calls and leaves a beep.beep.beep on my answear machine for anywhere from 1-3 minutes.  This is very irritating and uses up my tape time, not to mention listening to the playback.  When I answear the phone, there is nothing there.  When I call this # it doesn't go anywhere.
How can I find out what company this is?  Help...

Keep getting calls from this number, no message left.

Looks like they called twice yesterday and once this morning, so far.  No message left...

I do not answer calls from numbers that I do not know who they are from.
this number has called my home three times in one night.
