I got the same card as well. 2851 confirmation number. The fine print says "... Ninety-minute travel presentation required. Recipient is responsible for any applicable deposits, port charges, taxes and/or fees...."

Def. a scam. Shred it and forget you ever saw it.

I received the same card today in the mail.  Interesting thing is that they're trying to take me for the second ride on this scam.  I wouldn't waste my time attending the seminar because they will give you only what they promise they will give you which is a piece of paper saying you are entitled to a cruise.  They may even tell you that you have to pay a registration fee.  Mine was $99 for two people. You walk out with a piece of paper saying that a company calle "Cruise Gift" will handle the cruiise details.  You'll never hear from them again... and there's no one to call because they only give you an email for correspondence.  Don't waste your time or your money!!

Same here, I have actually sat through several of these high pressure sales meetings, you have to demand your gifts for attending as they keep shuffling you to another "boss" for more pressure tactics.  Leave your credit card and checkbooks at home and go for a ride but be committed to Just Say NO!!!

How funny we all "conveniently" got the same conformation number... I just called the number (just for the heck of it) and committed us to the appointment.  It's suppose to be a group setting and since it is held at a LOCAL hotel we are gonna see what it entails.  We've been to stupid timeshare presentations and had regrets after being conned!!  We will find out what this is really about and then I will post our findings.

Tommy, you are right. I received the same exact card, from the phone number, cruise...right down to the confirmation number. It definitely is a scam. Thanks for letting us know. And, people, if you're still not sure it's a scam, just look at the card and try to find the name of the "company" that sent it to you.

I'm sure this 877-730-9961 is just another number used by the same scam. This postcard reads about the same as the others. ....Carnival Cruise 8 day/ 7 night, 2 roundtrip airfare, confirmation #2851....These things are never for real. If you ever win something like this or even offeredit in this day and time.....there is ALWAYS a catch or it never happens without costing you a ton of money. I didn't waste my time on a call.
