I am really ticked with Wells Fargo. I've called them and asked my numbers be placed on a do not call basis. The calls are coming from 877-840-3332 to my business cell. It's been a week and I'm still getting calls. When I call the number back, it says it's not in service. Really frustrating and may cost them my business! I opened a business checking and savings in May '09.

You can call 1-800-470-1347 to be removed from their list. But, it will take up to 30 days to process the request

I disagree with the remark that 'you can't stop this company from not calling you'. Let's make it clear - this insurance company is NOT and I repeat NOT WELLS FARGO. They're technically two different companies. So, they have NO RIGHT to Call if you are on the Do Not Call List.

Call the number back: you will get an automated message and have the option to press "1" to say you're not interested.
Just so you know: If you are on the Do Not Call List, this DOES NOT prevent calls from companies you are a legitimate customer with.

THIS IS APPARENTLY A CALL TO BUY INSURANCE FROM WELLS FARGO. MY WIFE AND I HAVE TOLD THEM ON NUMEROUS OCCASSIONS THAT WE ARE NOT INTERESTED. THEY CALL US ALL DAY LONG FROM 8:00AM UNTIL LATE IN THE EVENING.

I work for the state and they keep calling my work number every day and when I pick up the phone no one is there. It's driving me nuts. Now I just let it ring and ring and eventually they give up.

was called daily from 1-877-740-3332, son answered once and they said they were wells fargo asked for my husband
they have called everyday from 1/4/10 thru today 1/9/10 husband answered they said they were Shiela from Wells Fargo and that they would be sending us some insurance information and we will have 60 days to review it and unless we sign declining it we would automatically be charge for it - WHAT?!? since when can they do that?
called wells fargo and they seemed to know nothing about it - but told us to beware and not to give out any personal information as well as call the fraud dept on Monday - so I googled the number and found this site. When ever we call the number back it either rings and disconnects or says that it is a number that has been disconnected or no longer in service - weird when the same number calls back the next day!
I went on to my acct. prefrences and changed them as "enough already suggested"....we'll see

This number has called and called. We simply look at the id and press talk then right away press off. That way i don't have to listen to the voice mail.

Multiple calls from 877-740-3332.
For those that access their account information on-line, there is a place where you can update your Privacy Preferences. Click on the Account Services tab. The Change Privacy Preferences is listed under My Profile heading (4th line down). You can then change whether or not you want to be contacted re: Wells Fargo products & services. I chose to do it this way so I know for a fact that the change was made and not left to a Customer Service rep.

MADE NUMBEROUS REQUESTS ASKING WELLS FARGO BANK ASKING THEM TO STOP CALLING ME. HOWEVER, THEY JUST KEEP CALLING. HAD FIVE CALLS TODAY. WELL, FINALLY THEY WON. I AM CANCELING ALL BY ACCOUNTS WITH WELLS FARGO BANK.
