Received a call from (702) 570-4610 with a message from an unidentified woman asking for some other person, stating to call back (877) 741-2100 x2752. Apparently they are using software that allows them to change the number that shows on the caller ID to make it appear someone local/someone you know is calling you. Unbelievable what these sharks will do to try and talk to someone. I have no idea what this is about.

Received a call on my machine from  Marline Thomas  at LTD regarding a "business" matter that needs to be cleared up. I know it is phony as I have been debt and credit card free for many years. the number of complaints about them is astounding!!!

I have received a second call from this number regarding an account that someone with my name with Staples. They live in another city in my State, but this is annoying. I feel like they are insistent that the account is mine and it is not. Both times when I have tried to make a comment, the man on the line has hung up.

Mr. Henry called, black gentelman, harassing me about my boss, asking me about all types of things, employees, address, crazy things, would not give him any info, not allowed to disclose company info.

This number harasses people as a colleating agent.

These a**holes keep calling and I'm not even the person they are calling about...

A man left a voicemail for my boss saying "avoiding these calls will not help, I am not here to upset you, I am here to assist you. We ared oing a liability ivestigation(?) today, you need to return my call." He left no name, or the voicemail cut it off. HIs ext # is 3448.

Get this,  They called me 3 times, left VM's so I finally called back, 3 min later!  She had no idea who I was and couldn't pull up the record because she had no idea what number she called me at.  Unreal

This company called and ask to speak to my sister-- they used her first and last name.  
Told them she was related--but did not live here.  They asked for her phone number and I refused to give it to them.  Then, he used my brothers name and asked if this was his business they had called?

Guy gave his name as JOHN SCOTT and phone number   as   877 741 2100

I do not  owe anybody and neither does my sister..  What gives with these creeps!

Oddly enough they called my google voice number which isn't tied to me in any way and I haven't given the number out. I know I don't owe anybody anything and the fake name I used to open the google voice account doesn't owe anything either :)

They might be a real company but they are obviously do some random calls also and some shady stuff.

The same thing happened to me this morning at 8am!

This company called me 5 times in 10 minutes this morning.  WTF!?!?

Left a garbled, barely legible message on the machine.
Then the same number called back 5 more times within 1/2 hour but didn't leave a message.  

I will keep this recording on the machine for future reporting to the appropriate Fed./State Govt. agencies.

Get calls from this number with a recording stating "please hold someone will be with you in a moment."  This crap should be outlawed !!!!

The number shows up on caller I.D. but no one is there when we answer.  What kind of fly-by-night outfit is this ?

LTD Financial is one of the sleaziest companies out there . As far as I am concerned they should be shut down and I will make sure the FTC has all communication that not only I have from them but also everyone else

Thes jerks called my inlaws and told them I was in breach of contract.. Needless to say since it was illegal for them to tell anyone that ,I have filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. I noticed while I was on the site Im not the only complaint.

Nasty Nasty VM on a Citibank debt.  Says it is a commercial matter and they have filed suit.  I doubt it only $2,600 to my business which has been nuked in this economy.  Citi gets billions of my tax dollars and these scum bags pound me daily.

This is what is known as a zombie debt collection agency. Do not answer their calls! A zombie debt collection agency purchases an old debt from a legit company for pennies and then tries to collect on the full amount, that is how they make money. DO NOT TALK TO THESE PEOPLE!! Once you give them any information they can reopen the debt, even it is not yours to begin with.
We have been getting calls from this number like crazy!! Do not pick up the phone!!

We have a business that went under and our company is responsible for the debt.   They can't even get our names right.  They act like a friend and call me by a nickname.  It's a clue that they are no friend since I loathe the nickname.  lol  They call one family member and they just hang up on them.  We are INC and folded the company and these employees can't even pronounce our names or company name correctly.  I wonder if they get a kickback for what they collect.  How sad to resort to this behavior.

I received a call from Buckley.  The message was to my brother, who lives in another state.  She said there was some thing wrong with a credit card account, but they didn't know what was wrong. She  wanted to help resolve the issue.  No company name was given.

First it was a guy who called himself "Mr. Washington", a very bold firm voice wanting to collect a bill that in the first place I did not dispute the bill only the amount, about $600.00 more than it should have been.  After discussing the debt he offered to reduce the total to what I said it should be.  I accepted this total, the advised him the company I worked for went out of business oweing me money - not their fault - not mine - just the economy, so to pay this debt I would need to break it down into 6 or 8 equal payments.  With that, he screamed at me on the phone telling me he was tired of dealing with deadbeats & hung up on me.  Hey, I agreeded to pay the debt - he wanted it all now. Man I have been out of work for 6 months living on social security only - I can't come up with the total any quicker & it has to fit in my budgit.
Have not heard from him now for a few weeks, but now we get messages from another person, I call back & get a recording, she calls after 9:00pm, sometimes leaves a message, sometime's don't.  I am willing to settle this debt but I also have to put food on the table, pay the rent & utilities - guess they don't understand that.

these a**wipes called my sister's house 3 times looking for me making it sound very urgent that I contact them. how they got her number and why they haven't tried contacted me at my number is a mystery to me as i'm listed in the white pages. I don't owe anyone jack and after reading these postings I think i'll just ignore them.

On the voice mails I have received from this number, there is no mention of any company name, but they only ask for a call back.  I happen to know that this is regarding a debt with Dell Financial Services.

A man called me this morning and called me by name. He was so friendly sounding that I thought I knew him or that he may be calling about one of my employees, etc. Caught off guard. He said a name which I don't remember because he alarmed me about my credit and said he was calling about an account at Staples opened in my name in 2006. I do not and have never had an account with Staples. He said my name again and said is someone else getting credit in your name. How would I know that? I explained again that was not me. He said someone had opened an account in my name, using my information. When I said this is frightening me. He said "don't be frightened, but you might want to check your credit." I asked his name and company and he hung up. I got a clean credit report and researched his number and am here. This is wrong!
