Is it a legit?

I just had a call from a Steve something from 202 552 1097.  He claimed to be from the FTC and
said my spouise and I had won 250,000, had to put up RID (refundable insurance deposit) to Lloyds
of London to collect.   What a scam.

got the same call from 2026587246. i reversed searched it and it was a cell phone.  i called 5857431910 and got a recording.  when i called the 202 number back it was the same voice on the answer machine. the guy that called me got very nervous the more questions i asked him.  i knew it was a scam from the beginning i just wanted to see how long it would take someone to ask for money.

Called by Ronald LArson claimed to be from FTC, 35000.00 Will Come by Federal Express  # TS 4090-241.  Wants 3500 to get package and would be refundable.

I just had the same thing happen to me!! I reported it to the FTC! Do not fall for this SCAM!!

Calling from Tel# 1-877-744-1282 Caller claimed to be from the Faderal Trade Comm.said that I had won
$350,000 From National Liberty Sweeps and they have tryed to contact me but I did not answer them to collect my winnings and this is how her office came into play it is her job to try and find the winner before they are disqualified giving this tel # 1-585-743-1910 plus a claim # TA9720175 and the prize would be delivered by Fedral Express but they needed 1 Persent of the prize money to insure it and that would be $3500.00 and that all state and fedral taxes were payed I told her that I did not have that kind of money and that I would call her back,Which I had no intentions of doing  KNOWING THIS IS A SCAM {So Watch out for this] Her Name Tamala Harvour  so she said Don't fall for it.......

Caller claimed to be affiliated with the "National Liberty Sweeps."
Said we had won $350,000 but would only pay if we paid them something first...which is a giant red flag of course.
The caller said her name was Pamela Horebuar (spelling?) and she could be reached at 877-744-1282.  She said there is a web site to prove this is legit.
There is a National Liberty Sweepstakes web site but it probably has nothing to do with these people.  Her call came from 202-552-1097, presumably located in Washington DC.

Caller claiming to be with the Federal Trade Comm. (F.T.C.). from the above telephone number.  Name: Jim Brown.  Advised me he was calling on behalf of the National Liberty Sweepstakes (585)743-1910, who have drawn a cashiers check in my name in the amount of $350.000., after taxes, as a result of unclaimed winnings from a drawing.  To claim this check, send $2,900.to Lloyds of America (718)713-8431, Leslie Santiago, 2200 Riverside Dr., Suite #101, Houston, TX. 77077
