Nuisance calls coming from this number. Do not answer

not only call but getting text messages too

I just talked to three different people.....had to call back three times. The first two hung up on me. Hahahaha Rude and awful and yes all of them barely spoke english. I do not have a Bell, Virgin or Solo mobile phone and they kept calling my house phone. Over 15 calls in a week and every time we would answer there would be dead air. Frustrating!!! They have now told me they would be taking the number off their call list. We'll see! Grumble!!!

I watched a friend tell a collection agency looking for someone who use to have the number he has now.. hes told them that this is the 4th time they have been harassing him over this and if they call again hes going to get in touch with his lawyer and have the issue delt with..... never called again. try that against them if your innocent... if not pay up because there like government.. wont leave you alone when you own money but when they owe you... good luck

I got a phone call from this number and they told me they were from Bell Mobility... i don't have anything with Bell Mobility or any Bell company but apparently they are also Virgin Mobile.  So they could be calling from either Virgin or Bell Mobility.

This number calls my home line several times a day.  When i call it back it goes directly to a person who does not identify themselves with what company they work for. I state that this number was calling me. They asked for my home number that this number was calling. I give to them and they have no records of my number being in their system and why they would be calling me.

Yeah I got a question.  So what Virgin took over for Bell,  I was never a customer of Bell Mobility either.  I had a land line through them which I cut off years ago and yes the bill was paid in full before you try to ask that.  I never had TV through them either so there's my question.

I get calls from them every few months and I'm not nor have I ever been a customer of Virgin Mobile.  So I don't know where they're getting my number from.  I even called me back the one day and went around in a circle trying to understand why they called me.  They asked for my account number, they asked me how much my bill was, and I told them a dozen times I'm not a customer, so then they asked if anyone in my family was.  At that point I bid them a farewell and hung up on them.  Sorry, that's not information I am willing to provide a company who calls non-customers and then don't know why when we call back.

In Regards to phone number 1 877-745-7721 - the dude said he was from Virgin Mobile a sister company of Bell.  He wanted to know my cell phone number, residential address and mailing address.  I said, NO no no .... I deal with BELL and even if you are a sister company to BELL, you would know this information.  I asked him why he was calling.  He said he was Collections.  I said NO NO NO ... I have dealt with BELL for 8 years and my account is not late or in arrears.  It NEVER has been.  He insisted I give him my cell # and and addresses, as he was calling to TALK to me (for BELL) and I said NO, I don't think so -- I deal with BELL mobile and IF ---  BELL needs to get a hold of me, they have all my information to contact me. I know I am not behind on my bill and even if I would think foremost BELL would call me. AGAIN - Virgin mobile dude asks me to give him, my information - I said NO!

I called BELL and they said no it is a SCAM.  Don't give any information to anyone calling saying they are from Virgin mobile .... it is a SCAM!

Just got a call from this number @ 9p.m.  When I answered it I got a recorded message so I hung up.
Called it back and got a woman from Virgin Mobile telling me that she would like to speak with me about my account.  Kind of strange considering that I have never dealt with VM.  

Who is that?

Yep. Just got this call too, and told them they have the wrong number and hung up. They phoned my house - which I never gave out, because I know my mom doesn't answer calls from numbers she doesnt know. Especiall if they're 800s - and then my cellphone right after.

Personal experiance tells me this is bogus. The delayed reaction to someone being on the line, and the fact that virgin phones. However, I did make a payment to Virgin, through my bank after reciving the call. So, if it turns out to be a collectors, then they'll shut up and leave me alone. I plan on walking over to the nearby Virgin store, and finding out from them once and for all.

I've been getting calls from this number too -- pretty sure it's not actually Virgin.  It's very easy for scammers to register a phone number under a fake name.  I'm with Virgin and every single dealing I've ever had with them has been pleasant and professional.  Far and away the best provider I've ever dealt with. Highly doubt it's actually them calling.

This number called back again today.  I called BELL and they said no it had nothing to do with my account or them ( I knew that ) so they gave me the FRAUD number, which I called.  Talked with them and then gave them the number.  

The nice barely English speaking, BELL lady comes back ripping snorting at me, that's not FRAUD, that's our collection dept!  I told her they had better quit calling me and she said well maybe you should work it out with them.  I told her to P-up-a-rope and then called Bell mobility back.  The new rep took the number and called it and then came back and said "that company is not representing Bell mobility".  She then asked me to write a E-mail and explaining the situation to mobilespam@bell.ca and I blew a cork.  Why do I have to do 'their jobs'.  I want that number to stop calling me!  The Fraud department says it's Bell's collection department, when my account is and always has been Up-to-date!  Bell mobility says my account is in good standing (always has been) but I have to waste my F-ing day dealing with idiots!  I told them I will write a email but I am also going to CC: it to the BBB as a complaint.  Never had issues before with Bell but they are incompetent today!!!!!

I have had three or four calls from this number and there is never a message left. Today I phoned it back. A They have been calling my *smart ring, fax number.
A man answered and I asked why they were calling my PRIVATE number. He thenasked me for my cell number. I said NO way, I deal with Bell Canada and my account is up to date and always has been up to date. The MAN then said I work for Bell mobility too. He again asked for my cell #. I again said NO. I deal with Bell Canada and if they want to talk to me, they know how to contact me. He then said well if you don't give me your cell # you will continue to get phone calls from us. I LAUGHED and said no I won't - I have the technology block you or their company from calling my private home number. My BELL account is and always has been current. This company has screwed up somehow, getting my fax number into their system. I blocked the phone number :-)

This number called once than i didnt get another call for months, now they are calling almost everyother day. It's getting rediculious

As an employee of the call center Sykes in new brunswick where these calls are comming from I can tell you that these calls are not a scam Sykes is useing  automatic dialer to make the calls and what happes is there is only 25 agents working but it calls tons of people at once the reason is to weed out the answering machines, if it calls you and no agents are availbe it hangs up on you and sets a recall We know this is annoying its why we only call one group of numbers for a 2 week period if you hang up without answering the phone it sets you for a call back automaticly. Our program we are running follows all the outbound campain laws set by the CRCT.. if you dont want us to call and call and call pick up talk to us we might be able to help if your getting a lot of overages in your account.. The Call center is in Moncton NB if you call 611 you mostlikely would get sent to the call center in the Phillipines ( they are Sykes too) they may not know about the campain we are running for our canadian customers. Just so you know 90% of Bells call centers are 3rd party run

We entered into a contract with virgin mobile and admittedly did not read the fine print.  We were told fifteen dollars per month each for the cell phones.  We received billing for over double that amount.  They cut off one of the cell phones.  We have paid over four hundred dollars for service  and the final (our view) cancellation.  We never used the service exceeding five weeks.
We sent them a registered letter with one hundred and five dollars within.  We sent them back the cells packed in bubble wrap to Toronto.  They phone us incessantly.  Now at eight thirty am in the morning as well.  My wife is over seventy years of age, I am over eighty.  We have flawless records of always paying our debts.

this number keeps calling me found out it is a debt collector and the account is at a 0 balance PAID IN FULL

Virgin Mobile Canada was purchased by Bell some time ago. Any more questions?

I have never had an account with Virgin either, and the number I have is a Telus #..It is annoying, especially on my cell that is listed on the Do Not Call list. Two calls again today.

just finally got ebill after 3 months this number calls me where the hell was my bill before and why the f*** am i paying so much for a phone when i was told it was cheaper when i got the dam thing oh ps the bill you claiming i owe so much on had been paid so only a month is owed not the 3 mths your claiming
