I get calls 5 to 6 x's a day asking for someone who has never had this phone number.  I actually had the company screw up and give her last name and city she lived in according to their records.  I looked up the info and found her living in another city but not far from what they had.  Her phone number is one digit different from mine.  I had informed the company of this by calling their number back and this was a year and a half ago.  Do you believe they still insist on calling all day long!  I spoke with the Attorney General's office in my state and they told me in order to have the calls stopped, I would have to write them a letter asking to cease calls.  I feel this is a great imposition for me.  They really should have someone out there doing this for us.   All I can suggest to the people being harassed like this is to call your Attorney General’s office or you phone company’s business dept. and find out what they tell you.  It could save you a lot of aggravation!  The trick to my problem is getting the address of the companies to send this letter.  Good Luck in your personal quest.

received call from this number many, many times -- sometimes 10 times per week, and it was a "pharmacy".

You can try calling them back, but they put you on hold until you're auto-disconnected after about 10 minutes

Is there any way to block them, they call at all hours incessantly.

Hi, I received a call from this number but I did answer and it was a company called Meds RX. If you have ever ordered Medications online thats probably how they have your number. Anyhow, it was a woman offering me a refill on a previous prescription.

They have called my cell phone several times.  I dont answer bc I dont know the number.  They have never left a message.

I got it too, as a missed call at 308 eastern time this afternoon.  When I call back, it says "thank you for calling customer service, please wait while we connect you.  You are caller number 2."  After two or three minutes, I realized this wasn't right, so hung up.
