It's a scam company trying to rip you off with a phony trip to Las Vegas.  In our area they used scratch off "gas money" cards put on windshields in store parking lots.

I was at Kohl's department store in San Antonio today.  When I came out, all the cars had scratch off gas money cards tucked into their side windows.  Top card was a dud but I too got 3 gas pumps for a jackpot win on the bottom card.  Yup, you guessed it, code 02455.  Phone number was 877-751-6964.

Under the "How to Claim" section on the back, in addition to the "taxes are the responsibility of the recipient", it also says, "Registration fee will apply for airfare".  Guess I have to fly somewhere to get my gas.....

It also claims that it's "part of a marketing promotion for a homestore merchant"  and sponsored by "Luxuries".  Beware.

Today I received a scratch off ticket on my windshield titled "Gas Money".  You have to match three symbols to "win". Of course, I scratched it off and low and behold I matched 3 gas pumps which was the "jackpot" I called the 877-751-6964 number on the back just to hear what they had to say.  She told me about the 3 day 2 night trip to vegas or 2 roundtrip airfare tickets to anywhere in the continental US.  I said no thanks and as soon as I got home I searched for "Gas Money Scratch off Lottery Ticket" and got no results. I then searched the phone number and came across this website.

I just wanted to warn yall that they are using different means to scam people now.

BEWARE!!

My Husband and I went to the seminar, was told the black out dates were Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Day, well we sent in our $ 29:00 dollars and received a letter back, all of the holidays 14 in all were blacked out.
I tried to e-mail them, call them and could not get to anyone with Promotravelinfo, only an answering service that did not know how to tell me to reach, and you know that the e-mail was returned as no such address.
I only wish I had checked them out before I sent them my hard earned money.

I also went to a meeting. They wanted 6000.00$ bucks to join,I turned that down and then I sent my 29.00 bucks for air tickets. I just got a Package Activation Form to send them 150.00 Deposit. I thought it was free. Will the 150.00 be returned to me if I go???? Also it says I'll be responsible for a reservation processing fee. This seems like a big scam.

I received a postcard saying I had a chance to win a trip to las vegas, and they asked me $29.00 for a chance to win.  So I send it then they said I had to send $150.00 in order to get my ticket, which I reserved for August and now they say that I am going on a total different day which I can't go and no one is answering my emails

These people held three classes at Homewood Suites at 4520 Techniplex in Stafford, Texas  on April 23rd, 2010.  I attended knowing in advance that it was a scam and my intent was to report these crooks. They use the Royal Carribean International logo to lure the public and in my opinion this in itself is a criminal act by these theives.  RCCI has been notified of the use.  Sorry that even $29.00 was lost to the criminals  and who knows how many fell for the deception.  Please stop these theives!

My "free cruise" was in the USPS maill

Awful, is'nt it? I too received the same card like Allen cruise and grocery. Why would anyone want to give me all this for nothing? I called the 877-751-6964#, was told to go to hotel and show my ID, will be taken to celebration room and processed, will take at least 45 mins. Thanks for all who commented on the internet, I did not have to think long. I called the police dept, gave them all the info, it's being passed onto their detectives. Hope something will be done.

I received an "official"  looking, first class postage mailer today with Royal Carribbean International logos imprinted all over it informing me that I have won! a complementary 4 night cruise for 2. If I call within 72 hours the deal sweetens with a $300 grocery gift voucher for Kroger or Randalls. The information on the card looks to be quite official, but since I wasn't born yesterday, to the computer I went. My registration fee happen to be $50. pp prior to travel. A SCAM of course! I hope no one falls for this, but I'm certain a few gullible souls will take the "to good to be true" bait, hook, line and sinker. Please be aware that this is a scam and never contact these scumbags!

Hey, like the poster, Me,  I too got a card saying I won a trip to Las Vegas and I should call 1-877-751-6964, because they were going crazy trying to contact me! Why would a Florida travel agency want to send someone to Las Vegas, when Florida has so much to offer? Thanks to Mary for doing the "legwork" and uncovering this scam. Oh wait... It didn't say anything about "winning" a trip. It just says I am "verified" to request to go. Gee I can go anytime I want. I don't need no scam company to allow me to pay money to them to go! I hope they paid a lot of money to send these postcards to everybody on their bought mailing list! hahaaha the card reads "Call within 72 hours and receive  Dinner for 2!" I guess I will, and I'll also receive a check for eating there, too!!

Received a postcard with this number saying we won airfare and 3 day vacation in Vegas - it shows Southwest and U.S. Airways making it seem somewhat feesible - but after checking on the internet it appears to be a scam that tries to get you to pay a registration fee of $29 up front, then another $150 to before you can get your tickets, which then never show up.  BEWARE!!
