Has anyone gotten their money back from these people? I too was at the presentation in Windsor Ct in .2011

We had a similar experience.  Went to a presentation, stupidly gave them 1500 credit card up front with payments for the other 1500.  Decided to cancel.  Contacted CC company first and then went to the police in upstate NY (I think Middletown).  We then went back to the hotel and called them out on what we found on the INternet about them.  We told them we weren't interested and that we knew they were scammers.  I saw people going into the presentation and told them not to taht it was a scam.  The credited our card back and we then changed our card numbers.They made it sounds as though it was fine because we were in the 3 day cancellation period.   I don't think there is any vacation club, just a scam!  I feel bad for those that paid and realized too late that it was a scam, and even more bad for those who traded in current time share weeks to join the club.  Dispicable!!  This happened to us in August of 2011 in Middletown, NY.

They're now Travel Smart in North Haven CT. Be aware! Adam Armstrong, Mandred T. Henry, Robyn Bernstein and Daryl Turner are all on facebook. Robyn with photos of her multi million dollar casa! Eventually they'll be held accountable but it won't be here on earth so best we can do is keep people informed and make it more difficult for them!

Discover refused to credit me, after i documented the scam to them.
Said i sgned a contract, and wouldnt look past it.  They act like it was a mere service dispute, instead of a fraud.cancelled card after 23 yrs. now will be in a suit with them since i wont pay them. They wete as bad to deal with as bernsteins. Spoke to one rep who told me he hadnt read anything i sent in to support reversal of charges.
Am 63 and still too trusting at my advanced age.
Suing bernstein a waste of time. Wish me luck when discover comes after me.

So, we just received the same postcard but with a different phone number.  So apparently the scam continues.  Wanted to pass it along to those who may have been scammed and want to try to contact them.  Thanks to those who have posted already.  We certainly will not call them.

The postcard says this:

Yes, my wife and I were scammed by these creeps, $598. I have all the receipts and filed a mail fraud complaint with the US Postal Service as they would only accept a postal money order. I am also going to their office with these copies and asking for my money back,at any rate if they do give me my money back or not I am still  going  to the  Windsor police dept with copies all my receipts and literature ect. that they scammed us with and filing a complaint with them. If you have any advice let me know. I have their address as TRAVEL DEALS-425 HAYDEN STATION, WINDSOR CT., Is this correct? Also I would like their phone # if you have it. thanks

help, my husband and i went to the travel deals mtg in windsor in march this yr. we foolishly bought into the *club*. since then we have had a few hundred dollars taken out of our bank acct unauthorized and are trying to find the right avenue to cancel this deal. do you have any suggestions as to the procedure to accomplish this?

We went to the presentation on Friday nite.  Aside from the fact that it was not a good deal, we were never serious about the travel program itself, just the "free gift."  Since that time, but before putting out the money I have called and emailed the company.  They disclosed the fees and let it slip out that the voucher was for an inside cabin, not outside as promised.  I have two questions:  (1)  has ANYONE ever gotten the vacation (even tho it cost more and was less of a room than promised), and (2) are they still located in Marlton (my dad lives in Marlton and I wouldn't mind paying them a visit)?

I was never convinced that this was real, but I'm saddened that the BBB has not picked up on it.  Please reply if you have the answers to my questions.  I'm sure everyone else here will be interested in your reply.  Thx.

worked for one of the branches of the call centers that answer from these mailers. I know the exact address and well has have more information into the ways of how this company does what it does. prepare for all this to blow open. please email me with any questions.

When will people realize the ...there is no such thing as something for nothing!!!....people just hear what they want to hear & see what they want to see ...then cry to anyone who will listen for help to clean up their self caused mess!!!!....So very sad!

Shafted, I am very prudent and have actually received free prizes in the past. We unfortunately were one of the first taken and at the time BBB rated Travel Deals an A-. I researched it! There was nothing negative. I have spent alot of time putting the word out on the internet on a multitude of sites! As I stated above, I demanded in person (nicely of course but with conviction) my money back. The check I received is from Robyn Bernstein completely demonstrating that Travel Deals Windsor is connected to the scam in New Jersey, A copy of my check was sent to the attorney general in NJ for court last month showing Daryl and Robyn are still "in business". I have not answered Wendy Mc Quades phone call as I have my money back. I emailed her all of the evidence and info but I will call her tomorrow as I now see they are still at it! AGAIN, I would not wait for the state of CT and I would suggest you visit Adam Armstrong at Hayden Station Rd in Windsor! (if they're still there. Got my check about a month ago so not sure) Your comment to Big Joke was a quite immature? Big Joke...why don't you try actually helping people instead of belittling them? So sorry I didn't check your post earlier robin 101. I went in person to 425 Hayden Station Road in Windsor. I met with Adam Armstrong and told him I knew about his scam with Daryl Turner and Robyn Bernstein in NJ. Told him I would go public AND picket if he did not get my money back. Had a check 3 days later. HE CLAIMED HE HAD NO UNHAPPY CUSTOMERS SO i EMAILED HIM AND CC'D THE ATTORNEY GENERAL AND WFSB CHANNEL 3 SO THEYWOULD FOLLOW IF I GOT MY MONEY BACK AND WAS A HAPPY CUSTOMER! He tried to tell me the cruise company was not part of Travel Deals. That they are from their marketing company. Truth is..there is NO RESERVATIONS company all a fraud.Told him now that I told him they are non-existent any brochure he gives out is FRAUD! Told him all of that and fortunately I am one of only a few that got my cruise money back ($650.00). Those that purchased with the actual travel deals for vacations, I believe the contract said cancel in 3 days. Another man went with Windsor police and filed a criminal complaint. He too got his money back. I wouldn't wait for the state of CT! All of you that filed with consumer protection, you should but I wouldn't count on the judicial system. They haven't paid a dime in NJ and that scam is a few years old. Either picket the above address between 4pm and 7pm (not sure if just Tuesdays or every day) or show up and demand your money back. Coincidently just got a familiar card in the mail with the phone number 1-877-816-7458 stating an eight day cruise! How dumb are they to send it to me again ! BTW I called their landlord, neighbors, BBB, chamber of commerce in Windsor and anyone I could think of ...

I fell for this scam, I am going to cancel it tomorrow, we were just there on Saturday 7/9/11.  Can someone tell me how I do that other than faxing and sending a registered letter, which I will do.  I want to make sure we are getting or money back.  We have notified our credit card company that this is a scam and that the company affiliations with other people and companies that are under indictiment/ordered to settle.

Any information to help me resolve this matter would be appreciated.

They took us yesterday for $3,000.00 I am going to cancel as per the contract and have notified my credit card company of this fraud.  Should I also sign a complaint with the State BBB or wait to see how they handle my cancellation.  It says they will keep $199.00 plus 2.8% of fee paid, I would rather pay that then the whole $3,000.  I would also like to know, we signed up for automatic debit for the yearly fee, with the same credit card company, I want to cancel that as well.  

Any advice anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks

Unfortunately my husband and I did this yesterday and they took us for $3,000.00.  We called our credit card company to cancel the charge and it hasn't posted yet.  I am faxing and send overnight letters to place we attended seminar, that we wish to cancel.   Can you explain to me exactly what you had to do to cancel your membership before the 3 days.

My claim is filed along with  with 25 others with the dept of consumer  protection with agent Wendy McQuade.  As for Big Joke, I may be a sucker but the real Joke is in your hand when you go pee pee!!!!  Later!!

I too sent in the money for both airfare and cruise vouchers. I call the reservations number 877-494-2650 and have gotten to a person once but have called many times after and left messages will no response.  I have also called 877-753-7451 and 877-491-9620 which were the numbers on the original postcards sent to me and explained that I am trying to follow up on my vouchers and was hung up on both times.  Can anyone give me advice on how to get my money back? 413-374-4783

Dee, your lucky you got your money back. Only a few have. The Dept. of Consumer Protection and the attorney General are investigating and will be filing a lawsuit but as evidenced in New Jersey where Darryl Turner and his cohort wife Robyn have been ordered to pay back 3 million dollars and to date have paid NOTHING, it'll be a long haul. These scam artists know that.Everyone, the people who have gotten their money back have gone in person and/or involved the police. I would encourage you to do so. They are still scamming. I don't know if it's M-F but I know they are there Tuesdays for sure. I believe they hold 2 sessions at 5 and 7. This office is run by Adam Armstrong and Manfred Henry. They are known scammers from Massachusetts. These guys are all linked to Darryl Turner and Robyn Bernstein. They go state to state. I have written reviews everywhere I can think of to alert consumers. When I googled them, they had an A- on BBB and there were no bad reviews. I'm usually very prudent and was still scammed.Anyone scammed should file a complaint with the attorney general and dept. of consumer protection. I was not going to wait for the state and took matters into my own hands. I have contacted all of their neighbors. their landlord, chamber of commerce etc....EVERYONE KNOWS and yet they still scam! Only rainbow is Karma. Some day they will all have to answer for their despicable acts.
