Recieved a text on 12/18/09 to my cell phone saying to call teacher's credit union at 877-754-4391 - I've never had an account with TCU, and the caller id was Unknown.

Received a text message from the same number...probably a phishing scam or scam to clone cell phone numbers. As a word of advice, make sure to check your cell phone user balance to make sure someone isn't using your cell phone to make international calls, etc.

I just got it, too. I Googled it and found this site. I have TCU but I doubt they'd text us for something..

Received a txt msg on 12/18/09 to my cell phone with this message:  ?Please call Teacher?s Credit Union urgently at 877-754-4391" I do have an account with them for many years but knew not to give any information. when I called though I got a message that said, "voice mail box full", so I wont call back after reading this.

Same here! I have no TCU account. My husband got two of these messages within an hour. We both use Sprint service for our cell phones.
