i contacted this so called whatever and asked the company name i got "consolidated" ... i asked consolidated what ?? JUST CONSOLIDATED ?? REALLY ?? i in turn asked for an address to mail documents and the rep to provide information and she refused to provide it...

That means that when they refuse to mail (NOT e-mail) you that required notice of validation, they'll have then officially proven that they're frauds. Right "Anne"?
Everyone needs to understand their rights as a consumer under the FDCPA. Once you've taken that first step, the rest is easy. Spotting bogus and/or fraudulent debt collectors is simple. They are an invariably stupid bunch & once you've learned all of their tricks, seeing through the BS artists ploys is childs play.
Foreign or domestic, a bogus and/or fraudulent debt collector is little more than a bag of hot air. Their only weapons are harassment & endless lines of pure BS. Ultimately, when dealing with an educated target they soon learn that they're succeeding at the same thing they've succeeded at their whole life. Absolutely nothing!

My husband got a call from this number at his work! We have no clue what it would be. Said there was a claim filed against him. If it was a legit "claim", it would be sent certified mail so it sounds to me like someone trying to start something.

This is a supposed "firm" and they are trying to collect for Integrity Advance for a cash advance that I never received--beware of this scam!
