The message I received on 1/14/2013 is the same as Kim's. Although it was from Incentives International & the phone number wasn't blocked.
Roman 2011-10-06 14:53:41 Unknown
America West no longer exists - the name was dropped after 2006 following a merger. I won't take that as a sign of legitimate business dealings.
me 2011-09-28 19:03:08 Unknown
I got the same call to the exact wording and you spelled......Most likely fake!!!!!
Kim 2011-09-27 14:54:45 Unknown
Got a call on my cell phone from BLOCKED. The message was obviously a recorded message that me and my spouse won 2-round trip airfare from the closest airport to my location. A 3-night/4-day Carribean cruise departing from either Miami or Port Canaveral, on either the Carnival Cruise line or Royal Carribean Cruise line. The recording specifically stated this was not a timeshare and there was no obligation!!! The number to call within 24 hours was 877-764-1960 or the offer would be void?
sat 2011-06-06 21:04:47 Unknown
Said that me or a family member filled out a survey w/in the last year and won 2 free tix anywhere in the US, hotel and dinner. SCAM.
2011-06-06 21:04:47 Unknown
That's interesting to know... I received an "Incoming Call" on My cell phone - no number... left a voice mail with a very "happy & excited" female voice telling Me I'd won a promotional cruise for 2 out of Long Beach on some Carnival Cruise Line ship and all I had to do was call 877-764-1960 to claim blah, blah, blah... Since I"m on the "DO NOT CALL" list - I wonder what can be done about this crappy garbage.
CHARLOTTE NC 2011-06-06 21:04:47 Unknown

Recording promotes that "you or a faimily memeber filled out a questionaire LAST YEAR..."

It's a company based out of Palm Springs, CA that offers free Cruises if you listen to their time-share sales pitch in person.
Bukkake 2011-06-06 21:04:47 Unknown
I also "won" a trip for 2 on America West Airline. Use of a rental car for a week! What great luck!
The airline doesn't exist.
Tommy 2011-06-06 21:04:47 Unknown
So I won round-trip airfare from my home city on America West Airlines! Um.. I don't think they are in existence anymore..
verizonuser 2011-06-06 21:04:47 Unknown
Message left that I filled out a survey last year and won tickets!!! I never fill out anything for fear of getting these types of calls! who are these people.
confused 2011-02-08 18:44:13 Unknown
Got the same message today...sounds like a scam to me. Has anyone tried calling back?

January 22, 2011 - just got the message! We won a 7-day carnival cruise. ha-ha-ha-ha
kwindso 2011-01-20 22:44:37 Unknown
I got the same call saying the exact same thing, I never filled out anything for American West. Did u call? It sounded fishy when I first heard the message. I understood everything she said but it sounds like they are calling multiple people with the same prize. After reading these other posts I'm not going to call.
Cali 2011-01-20 21:00:42 Unknown
Yup... got a call this afternoon (1.20) saying I won (could win?) a trip for two, 7 night 8 day Carnival Cruise leaving out of Long Beach. Couldn't understand most of the message, only the phone number and what the prize was. Also said not a time share and no purchase necessary... hmmm, scam I think?
smtrnmst 2011-01-19 00:13:19 Unknown
Well it seems that these people are still up to their old games. I just got a call earlier this morning 1/18/2011 claiming that I had won two tickets on a Carnival Cruise line leaving from Longbeach, CA. I have never entered any promotion reguarding American West. And that was the only part of the name in the message that I could even understand. Everything else was said slowly enough to me to catch except the name which immediately threw up flags. Watch this one. I never answer calls that are restricted. Just let them go to voicemail and check it later.

Got a call today! I won 2 free round trip tickets from America West to any major city! Plus 7 day rental car for free! The number they called from was blocked, but this was the call back number. I live in the 440 area code (Cleveland Suburbs). I have 24 hours to call back! Of course I will not, but is there anyone that has?
GI Jane 2010-11-23 19:52:59 Telemarketer
I got a call from that number as well. The number on my caller ID was for a 419 number (Toledo area), yet the call back number was completely different. They claimed that I had 24 hours to redeem my tickets...uh, yeah right. They called me two days ago and said the same thing. Can totally tell it's a scam. DON'T CALL BACK!!
OB1 2010-11-21 07:09:19 Unknown
It is apparently A pre- recorded message... blanketing phone #'s. I have never even flown America West let alone apply for A contest. Goofy crap... think maybe I should call America West and let them deal with it.

Received this recording twice. Same message about airfare tickets, dinner and hotel accomodations as below. I googled the company mentioned on the recording (Incentive International). Turns out Incentive International scammed people in the past with gas card rebates and then filed bankrupt. I can't believe they would be allowed to do this again. Anyway, the number they called from was not the same number I was to call to redeem. It was 913-312-8750 and the recording was from a Mary. I do not plan to call back. I have done a good bit of traveling this year and could have filled out something. But, being the history of this company's name...I dont think so. Remember, If it sounds too good to be true it probably is.

please update if you called
Tara 2010-05-07 18:13:08 Unknown
Just got a call on my cell phone which has an 803 area code. I used to live in Fort Mill, SC. Same as everyone else. You have won 2 round trip tickets, 3 night hotel stay and a $50 gift card to Olive Garden/Bahama Breeze. Not sure if I'm gonna call back.
Charlotte Person 2010-04-29 15:03:18 Unknown
If it sounds to good to be true than it probably is! But i am going to call anyway. Also (704) area code.

I just got a call here at work. How is it possible that I've won 2 trips in the past year and never filled out a thing?!

I got a call from this number . I did not answer no message left. This is from the Central Reservations page about such calls .
"Over the past few weeks we have been receiving a number of phone calls from people who say that an organization calling themselves "Central Reservations" has left a message on their answering machine telling them that they won a free cruise or some other free prize. The return phone number left in the message never works. These messages are being left in multiple states.
We are not making these phone calls. In fact, we never make any unsolicited calls of any kind. Unfortunately, we have no idea who is leaving these messages, but to the best of our knowledge it's a scam and we recommend caution.
Our company is a small, family-owned and operated business in Washington State that was originally founded in 1982. We assist people in finding lodging in the Methow Valley, Leavenworth, and Stevens Pass areas of Washington State. We do not conduct business outside of this state.
If you received one of these answering machine messages, and happened to discover our website after doing a web search for "Central Reservations", please rest assured that we did not call you.
Thank you,
Neil and Kelli Rotstan

Central Reservations (in Washington State)"
