Just rec'd a call from 877-767-9832, but just a dial tone when I answered.  I've now added this number to my phone's internal directory, with the name "Telemarketer".  Now my household will recognize the number for what it is and not answer it.  Evidently non-profits are exempt from the DNC block.  Otherwise it seems to work okay here.

I am once AGAIN putting myself on their DNC list. See if it works out THIS time. Got a call from them, of all times, at 10:09 a.m. on Sunday morning, 2/12/12. FAITH and Freedom Coalition, what time is church in YOUR neighborhood?

Apparently that doesn't exclude telemarketers.  I get calls from this # too often. : (

These people call once in the morning and once at 8:30-9pm at night.  Are you kidding me? Why are these people (organization) exempt from the federal DO NOT CALL rules?. I have not done business with them, will not do business with them and yet they dont get the hint.  I will never answer a "toll free number" as they are all soliciters for something. Sad state of affairs in this country.

This caller calls all hours of the day and night.  Very obnixous and I am on the no call list.

I received a call yesterday from them---they had a recorded message from Dick Morris about the President. Then they switch you to a real person to do a survey on whether you would vote for President Obama. Morris was full of s**t and was lying so when I was connected to the "real person" I tiold them so and hung up. I am a Democrat so I am thinking they are targetting us Dems with this message which was not only untrue but frightening. Such BS tactics are disgusting!

Faith and Freedom org. sounds like a right wing goup to me.  Try picking up the phone and leaving it unanswered for awhile to hold up their line or get a whistle and blow it into the phone.

I called this number back - they are the aforementioned Faith & Freedom Coalition - they do have a menu option for reducing the # of calls you get per year OR putting your number on their DO NOT CALL list.

Totally worth the few minutes it took to find the DO NOT CALL option!

I'm getting 2 or 3 calls per day from 877-767-9832. They never leave a message.

My phone system announces out loud when I have a call.  It says "eight zelo zelo", which I never answer those 800 number calls.  But then it gets worse, after they get to hear my message, I am treated to 16 very loud busy sound beeps, followed by a recording that says "if you'd like to make a call, please hang up and dial again".  After they say that 2 or 3 times, then the loud busy tone comes back on until I am forced to click the phone ON and then OFF in order to end it.  VERY annoying to say the least.  When I try to call this number back I get a busy tone.  AAARRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!

receive calls from this # (877-767-9832) all the time. VERY annoying! spoke to a guy once & told them to loose my number  & a second time; spoke to a gal (they very "politely" said I would receive "no more calls") since the last one (gal) I have probably received 15-20 more! Wish I would fit thru those tiny holes in the phone & be able to put my hands around their scrawny necks & say "What do you mean You can't breath"?   I DO NOT give money to ANYONE that calls me & ONLY a couple of organizations anyway!  BUT, you cannot tell these phone bank idiots ANYTHING!  (am also on DO NOT CALL LISTS) lot of good they do ... when you "sign up" for them, that's probably how all these idiots get your # in the first place!!!!

Got a call at 7:45 PM. No answer when I picked up. Suspect a telemarketer.

What happened with the National Do Not Call thing?

They call constantly.  Caller ID is blocked.  Anyone else get calls from these (censored) people?

Do Not Call list does not work.  I've used up my call blocking for people like this.  I don't owe a penny to anyone and am tired of the harrassment.

This number rings at all hours of the day and into the evening and never leaves a message.  They should  not contact anyone on a do not call list.  This calling is annoying!

You can add 877 213-6589 to F&F colaition. I have recieved 10 calls in the last week. I get so many conservative / republican funraising calls its not funny. I would switch my number if it wasnt a buisness line. This is what i get for trying a free subscription to newsmax.  Free is never without cost.

No Call lists do not apply to non or not-for-profit organizations which I think is a bunch of hooey. If you don't want to be called, it should apply to everyone.

To add to the message above:  The Faith and Freedom Coalition has called under: 877-767-9832, 877-657-9796, 866-779-9373, Heritage Foundation 323-330-1426.  I have received calls from all of these numbers attempting to solicit political donations.

This number is from the Faith and Freedom Coalition - they also call from 877-657-9796.  They called to solicit a donation from my mother (who has never been located at this number).  She passed away a year ago this week.  I have also gotten calls from the Heritage Foundation also looking for donations from Mom.  They were surprised when I wasn't interested in donating in her name.  Unbelievable.  I loathe any political donation solicitation call but these take the prize.

I get lots of these, too - four 877 different numbers; any one of which seems to come in almost every day. No one there. Lately I just click the receiver so it hangs up on them. I'm on a no-call list, too!

No one answers in spite of the fact you know someone is there and then the line goes dead. I'm keeping a log of calls from 877 with date and time and then will report the calls. We are on a no call list - so much for that!
