same deal. numerous calls a week, usually once daily or semi-daily, but sometimes multiple calls per day. no messages. their relationship with my voicemail personal greeting will continue!

You can thank the Republican party and their economic policies and warmongering for destroying the economy and driving up your bank fees int rates etc.  Every time you pay a bank fee or interest on your credit card the corporations, the republican party, and the wealthiest 1% of the USA thanks you for your incompetence when voting republican or teabagger.

There was no message. Just silence when I pick up. This happens two or three times a day.

I get a call from this number just about every night.  They never leave a message.  Caller ID comes up "800 Service".

Any Sov Bank customers should check this out.

Have called me several times as well. I finally answered and got the same story of wanting to check if I activated my new Mastercard (Sov switched over from Visa to MC). I told them I did and have been using it for a few months now. The woman then said they must have called for another reason and wanted my account number to pull up the account and check for any possible problems. I declined and told her I would visit a local branch. She said that if I had any other issues I could call the number on the back of the card. I then visited my local branch. No account problems to report and they knew nothing of any mass calling to verify if Sov account holders had activated cards. I then called the number and a woman answered and said she was Sandra and how could she assist me. No "thank you for calling Sovereign Bank" just her name and how could she assist me.

Methinks there is some phishing going on here.

They call. They hang up. They call. They don't leave a message. I finally called back. They wanted my account number. I didn't give it. I'm waiting on a supervisor.

Sovereign won't stop calling. They are trying to get me to take more services. I'm ready to close the account I have with them.

They keep calling saying they are from Sovereign bank and want to speak to my husband.  When I say he isn't here they refuse to speak to me or give me any information as to why they are calling.  When I start to question they hang up.

This number called me 3:25pm today, didn't leave a message. I'm getting really sick of it.

I just got a call from this no. but when I recieved line got cut. NO massege.

Receiving calls from this number CONSTANTLY.  No message left when I let it go.  Let me point something out more for this company and any connected companies then for people receiving these calls :

IT IS A VIOLATION OF UNITED STATES LEGAL STATUTE TO CONTINUE TO MARKET TO PERSONS WHO REQUEST YOU TO REMOVE THEM FROM YOUR CALL LIST.  THAT INCLUDES THOSE WHO SUBMIT THIS REQUEST IN THE FORM OF "zapper" DEVICES ( i.e. "automated anti-marketing" devices ).  THIS LAW APPLIES REGARDLESS OF YOUR CALLING CENTER'S LOCATION.

That said, let me warn this specific company :  I'm giving your number not only to authorities, but to "hacktivist" groups such as Anonymous and LulzSec.  Good luck to you once they come after you, you miserable twits.

Called my cell phone 1:35PM EDT today, didn't leave a message.

This number called my cell phone today. I wasn't able to pick up. They didn't leave a message. I figure if it was important they will leave a voice mail for me.

I got a phone call from this number and when i called it back it played the song "i dont know why i didnt cal" and then a guy named raphael or something said hello....so i hung up...but i usually get a missed call from this damn number once a week

They claim to be Sovereign Bank but i don't believe them.  Sovereign Bank always uses automation/authentications when they call and whenever I had to call them back i would go through an authentication process.  Sounds too fishy for me.

They claim they wanted to know if I activated my new card.  I told them I didnt recieve a new card and they wanted all my credit card information.

I would think that Sovereign Bank could look at their records at their end t see if i activated a new card,  come on now really?

this number has been calling me and never leaves a message. When I called this number back they say they are Sovereign Bank but ask for my name and account number. When I wouldn't give them that they ask for my full social security number, I will not give them that and hung up on them. The number continues to call me.
I went to my local Sovereign Bank Branch and told a teller about this and the branch manager, she told me that if it were Sovereign calling me, why would they ask for anything but my name since they allready know everything else.
The manager told me that Sovereign knows who these people are and their phone numbers they use. These people have even tried calling non sovereign bank customers to try and get their bank account numbers and social security number.
I was told and have even received "real" calls from Sovereign that they will leave you a message about why they are calling if they cannot reach you.

the people behind this company should go to jail, they have been calling non-stop. they are harassing us.

I've had it with the creepy calls in which Soverign/santander bank leaves no message.  I'm quitting my account with this bank.  I never gave them my cell phone number, yet they have found it and call me twice a day.

Since Sovereign Bank has been taken over by the Spanish owned Santander Bank,they have been nothing but annoying.They have raised fees,closed branches & cut back hours;& utilize just plain aggravating marketing techniques.They are also never planning to connect U.S.A. customers,to their European network;so,in other words,if a U.S.A.customer goes to Europe,& uses one of their ATMs,they will be charged an ATM fee AND a currency conversion fee.If anybody has noticed,the Santander name,has become more prominent,in their marketing;even with the new MasterCard debit/ATM card.This means that they WILL be changing the name to Santander Bank;even though,I was assured,shortly following their takeover,that it wouldn't be changed.Sovereign Bank used to heavily promote their"Totally Free Checking" -- since Santander's takeover,I've stopped seeing that.They were a smaller bank,with a personal touch;now that is all gone.

What's wrong with this company?

Stop phoning me--   What an annoyance!   Why are they being allowed to continue?
