Called and left msg on voicemail. Used my name correctly but asked for someone I've never heard of with a case number.?  Sounds like BS to me also, because the voicemail says the caller refused to leave their id.?! DO NOT CALL REGISTRY DOES NOT WORK-WHAT ELSSE IS NEW?

these people keep calling my PARENTS stating that they have a summons to appear in court on a fraudulent check charge and plan to deliver it to my job or home unles I call back.  isn't it against the law to divulge information to non-interested parties?  Also, my parents have told these ppl to stop calling their house as I don't live there! aren't they supposed to stop calling when they've bn told the person doesn't live there? I know how to search the court cases in my state and there is no such case.  who ARE these ppl?!

Just received a call from someone with "the state".  Also about a fraud check but, though it was on my cell, she was addressing my wife.  The caller also said we had 2 hours (!) to try and settle the issue before she'd have her "day in court".

So yeah, sounds like a bunch of BS idle threats to me but if anyone has any additional info, it'd be appreciated.

Call said he  was an officer and that he was serving a summons for a fraudulent check . To call him in 24 hours. he sounded more like a drug dealer.
