Yes threatening them about bbb will work. I did it. I asked for my money back because I haven't gotten my mags yet. They refunded me but they do still call. I changed my number ordered a new card and that all went away. (once you see the money back into your account immediately call your bank and cancel your card and order a new one. Just to make sure that they don't take it out again)

The same crap happened to me a few months back they charged me twice and I called their "customer service" to get the so-called subscription cancelled and they said they can only lower my payments so I went along with that then called my bank and had the card closed. They continue to harass me and call me from various numbers. I called back once saying that I want to speak to a manager or someone in lead and they gave me another number. I don't want to call and hear the same s***. Is this the same company as the one your dealing with or dealt with? If so, email me and let me know what I could do... It's the most apaggravating thing seeing a different, blocked or unknown number calling me every hour. I filed a dispute but I dont know what that'll do. Will threatening them to report them with BBB really work?

I looked at my account this morning and noticed a charge of $68 from this company. I called and they are closed on the weekend. How can they continue to scam people like this? Ridiculous! Something has to be done!

I got a call recently and they told me that my credit card entered me in a sweep stakes in which made me a little leary but I was hearing the lady out. When I got to the supervisor because I wanted to know the price it went from 4.99 to 19.99 to 68.99 in which I told them no I was not interested but he proceeded without hearing me. I would like to know how they got my credit card information without me giving it to them. I went to get in touch with my credit card company after that call and found out they charged my account after I told them NO I WAS NOT INTERESTED. My credit card company called me because I have security protection and asked if I authorized the amount, and I told them no. The Credit Card Company (security) told me they tried for the 68.90 but it did not go through so they dropped the amount to 48.90 in which went through (pending). They asked me if they stated their name and I told them no they just stated that my credit card company entered me into a sweep stakes, and asked other questions. He told me that if the amount posts that I am to call disputes. The number the APG called from is (530) 798-5237.

I Had Started A Subscription With Them For Some Stupid Magazines. At First I Didnt Give A S*** But After Quiting My Job And Having No Money And Other Bills To Pay I Tried To Cancel. I Started To Give Up Until I Started Doing Some Research. Then I Had Called Back Spoke To A Supervisor And Once I Had Told Them I Had Filed A Complaint Already With BBB The Suprivisor Transferred Me To The Manager And He Was Kissin My A** To Cancel My So Called Subscription. I Love How There So Sold On No U Cant Cancel But Once U Mention That There A Scam And That U Reported Them To BBB The Jump To It To Make Sure Ur Happy. Hahaha I Swear The Nerve Of Some People.

same company same deal with the damn payments, they called i said cancel they said pay i said no, they said cant cancel and threateaned me with a voice agreement. dont know wtf to do. i already cancelled that card so i culd stop being charged. Its BS, now they been calln me for months saying i owe money and they are going to put my information to a colection agency. Damn a**les, what i know is wrong is that they been calling me for months about this collection agency s*** but havnt done s***. i get one magazine like every frikn 4 weeks or so, and i know thats was never any damn agreement and iu hav alrdy askd to stop recievoing these magazines. So wen it comes down to it, i never agreed to the conditions im recieving so wen it comes down to it, if they ever try anything. Well they didnt keep their side of the agreement so neither did i and im not paying for s*** i alrdy said stop to and in the first place didnt agree to.
I hope people can get this information before they get the call to, damn scammers.

I just noticed a charge to my debit account for $68 and some change from this group and Im not sure as to why its there. Ive never talked to anyone over the phone about any magazines or anything. My bank wont take care of it so how do I get it taken care of?

My son recieved a call from you on 01/13/2012. He gave you my card information only after he informed the caller that he was not interested in whatever you were selling if he were going to charged. He was told that my card would not be charged and it was. The charge is still pending but I want to cancel the charges.

This company is a bunch of Con-artists!

They WON'T let you cancel and they're a bunch of f****ng A***OLES! Conning people into this "Great deal!" Getting subscriptions to your favorite magazines for a year for a "Small payment of $$." Bull s***! They not only charged me every month starting in Feb '11 when I signed up, but so did the Magazine companies, individually, on top of that! I tried cancelling multiple times but they're BULLIES! He even said, "I can pull up your recorded agreement and we can listen to it." If you don't cancel within only 3 days of recieving your first letter from them, you're royally screwed.

You can blow a fuss and have them lower your payments. I'll be calling again when I can afford the rest in full. He said he'll give 75% if I pay in full. Until then, it's only 25% of my monthly obligation.
You have to be strong with these guys... and persistent. A***oles, I tell ya... a***oles.

I was promised magazines for $68 a year. However I was charged every month 68. Until I called and told them I wasn't able to pay for it. I'm in college and all my money goes to food and books. They said I owed them 1000 dollars. They asked if I was a student and I said yes. They paid 70% and I had to pay 348.23. That was on February 26, 2010. However I was recently charged 70 after I had paid the money to cancel the subscription. If you don't pay, does it effect your credit if you don't pay. I'm tired of this stupid company. What should I do?

I have cancelled this account paying hundreds of dollars but still I get phone calls saying that I owe them money to cancel the renewal. I am just ignoring their calls as I am not going to pay them a penny more after cancelling it. Another call I get from them, I am reporting it to the business service.

That happened to me with this same company. They wouldnt let me cancel the account but I told them I wasn't going to keep paying for that amount. That I had understood differently as to what they were telling me know. I just hope they don't come out calling me later and telling me I owe a thousand dollars!

I had the same problem with them not being able to cancel the subscription. I actually have been getting something, but it's only ONE magazine subscription. And I was promised 4. I guess I need to grow some balls and tell them to cancel the order.

I also got scammed with this phone number,   I did not order anything from them and they charged my card,  I didn't even get any magazines in the mail!!!

I also got scammed here recently and their number was unavailable I got my bank statement and i was being charged 29.99 and 24.99 for magazines i didnt order. I have no clue how they could have gotten my card number because i just got the card! Can anyone help me on what to do about this without getting my bank involved!!

they act like they could not cancel it da order..they charge too much..they want to lower my payments....i told them no....im not payin it

I also got scammed by this place.  I called numerous times to cancel because they kept calling saying I owed them hundreds of dollars. They wouldn't let me cancel either because of the commitment I made to the magazine suppliers. After reading your post I called and told them if they didn't cancel I would report them to the BBB.  They canceled it no problem.

My wife ordered magazines from them that was so many for a year for $68. 1 1/2 months later she gets a phone call telling her she owes another $68???  She said no i didnt agree to paying a monthly charge of $68. Told them to cancel it. The person on the phone said they are not sure if they would be able to cancel with all the magazine companies she was getting magazines from with them??? Then they said they would cancel. She gets another phone call about another 1 1/2 months later from them saying she owes them $1000+  (for what???)  This place is fraud and im going to report to better business bureau.
