Calls from 877-776-3412 coming in every few hours with same results.  Number is registered to Impact Sales Solutions Inc in Holland, OH.  Their Ohio corp registration number is 1599940.  The person signing the corp documents is Douglas B Leu who lists his residency as Sarasota, FL.

Found them on the net and called their VP of Marketing (below), who actually listened and promised to remove me.  We'll see.

I received the same kind of call but the number was different. It was 866-239-9352. But I did get the same recording when I called them back. Maybe they changed their number.

These people have been calling for almost a year. It stopped for a while and started up again. They said that they are from our local paper in PA. I told them yesterday that I wasn't interested (because I did not want to give my credit card number). I thought it would be over. They called twice today. I usually don't answer but I did the 2nd time and they hung up. There is no reason why we should have to put up with such wierd people!

This company refers to itself as "Double Check." They call several times a day, hang up when we answer, leave no messages on our machine, and have woken our one-year-old. We are on the Do Not Call list. Who ARE these morons??? I need this STOPPED!!!

Frequent calls from this number. When answered it disconnects. Call back it is Impact Sales Solutions, a telemarketing company out of Holland, OH (by Toledo). Believe they solicit for The Blade newspaper because we have had dealings with them in the past 6 months, otherwise they would not be able to call since we are on Do Not Call List. Husband went to local office and demanded to be immediately taken off the list...no calls since.

Folks, this is the best and easiest way to do it. Go to the Blade office and tell them to remove your number. They provide us with the list of numbers, and if you are off of their list, you wont be on ours.

One, Impact Sales, as well as most any other telemarketing center, by law, can not leave messages on voice mail or on an answering machine. Two, if you want them to stop calling you, tell them to put you on their Do Not Call list so your number will be kicked out of the system. You can also call the Toledo Blade directly and have your name removed from their call files, because they are the ones who supply the numbers. We (yes, I work there myself) do not have a list of numbers that are openly available to us to the point where we could possibly know who we are talking to. Therefore, we reach businesses, cell phones, fax lines, mean people, etc., and key off those calls as we should (well, most of us do). I will admit, we have some workers who seem more worried about percentages and making that mighty hourly wage that they are about doing their job, and unfortunately it comes back on those of us who do our jobs. As far as hanging up on you or anyone else, we do have those few workers who instead of letting you say what you have to say, hang up instead. Not all of us do that. Our phone system is set up as follows.

The computer dials a number. You, an answering machine, a fax, a disconnect recording, etc., picks up. Then we are connected. This is why after you say Hello, you finally hear a Hello from the other end. This annoys many of you because then you think we ignored your Hello. No, we simply did not connect quickly enough to hear you. Most people then say Hello again. Others say nothing, leading us to believe that we are talking to an answering machine to which we are not allowed to leave a message on. So we hang up.

We can not predict when you are eating dinner, watching your favorite television show, on your way out the door, or generally busy. But we hear about it, and at times, in a very hateful manner. Then we get annoyed just like you do, and it bleeds over into the next call. We know that your job is not easy. Neither is ours. People get aggravated. Trust me, I know.

It does me no good to apologize for everyone. It would solve nothing. We are not calling you to annoy you. If you do not want the product, you have to say No, I dont want it or Take me off of your calling list. If you simply hang up, you go back into the system. This is why some people get called all the time.

donotcall.gov and other national Do Not Call lists fail to provide all call centers with those lists. Many believe that companies such as Impact should not have direct access to these lists. That hurts us because it makes us look bad.

I hope this reply helps to explain why some people get multiple calls. There is only so much that we can do, ourselves, unfortunately. DNC registries and the businesses that contract us must do their part.

1 ring and it stops.  This happens various times daily.  It's very annoying.

i have been receiving calls from this # for over a week.all hrs of day and night. i tried to file complaint with DO NOT CALL gov. and they say that # is NOt on their LIST?? what kind of bs is THAT??
TRIED to block with verizon call block and they said THIS # CANNOT be blocked. so they got a good game going on....

i started getting calls from that # nov. 10,2007. they do NOT talk....i hang up...so far have gotten 5 calls in a week. when i called it back, i got "dOUBLE CLICK ADV" and if i want to cancel my paper?
this is very aggravating and i am on the do not call list. they should be reported and NOW.

Get multiple calls per week, sometimes several in one day.

I get a call from this number every day sometimes twice a day. I would like to know where you would report this.  I am on a do not call list.

Excellent Idea!  Thanks.  I started doing the same thing for EVERY unsolicited telemarketing call.  If we all do this we CAN get it stopped.

I just switched from Nextel to Tmobile and immediately this number started calling. Atleast 6-8 times in 3 days. I called it back and it goes to an answering machine for some "local newspaper" and asks you to either leave your name and number for a subscription or do not call list. I don't trust it though. Let me know what you think....

I am deaf, I have the caller id I saw this number so I used the computer and I saw this annoying damned calls all the time, they are scammers they ask the people to sell them then they get the money and run, maybe the nbr will exist.  I am on do not call list.

called me all day long on my cell phone while i was trying to sleep. I couldnt sleep without them calling every other hour until i moved the phone out of the room. Who are these people, it had this number on the id.

Been getting a average of 6 calls a week from this number for months now.Angry enough now to try and do something about it. If I can't then out comes the sledgehammer and crash goes the phone. If I ever get an address to this number I promise to visit WITH the sledgehammer!

Calls house phone sometime twice a day never leave a message.On 05/01/07 call on my cell phone left no message. Called ID showed phone #877-776-3412.My name is also on the do not call list so why am i getting these harassing calls.

Called to my Vonage line multiple times per day.  No voicemail... very annoying as these calls continue with no way of knowing who this is...

They call me 3-4 times a day alsmost every day. Even today, on my only day-off, they called me at 8 am and 9 am. I am absolutely positive that Sacramento Bee sold my number to somebody else.

They call me several times a day. When I answer, they hang up. When I don't answer, no voice mail. When I called back, I was told that (419)868 5945 is not in service. The number on the caller ID 1-877-776-3412. I think I may call ProblemSolvers on KCRA 3 to see if they can get something done.
