I had several calls from this number in my caller i.d. I avoid answering calls where the caller's name is not shown. I called them and they said they were FIA Services, but refused to tell me what they were calling about unless I confirmed personal info - which I refused to do.

Received about my 25th call in 5 days. Ranging from 8 am to 10 pm at night, ridiculous. They didn't identify who they were until I asked twice. Then they asked for an alternate number for my husband, like I would give it to them. So annoying anyone know how to stop them??

This is FIA Card Services, National association: A wholly-owned subsidiary of Bank of America Corporation. Based in Wilmington, Delaware, FIA Card Services processes credit cards on behalf of Bank of America. Their database is tied in with BoA's, so if you are late on a card payment, they will start calling.
DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION. Instead, call the number on your Bank of America card, and make your payment dealings directly with BoA: FIA has complaints lodged against them by consumers, saying that they have taken money directly out of their accounts, without authorization.
http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/identity-theft/boa-fia-cardservices.html
It may take up to 48 hours from the time of your payment for their system to be updated, meanwhile they will keep calling.

Received two calls from this number over three days - both calls at 8:30 PM. No message either time.

This is definitely Bank of America. I was not home so they wanted my roomate to give them another number to call me. She was smart and did not do so. She told me the guy was polite but it sounded like a boiler room operation.

Just got my 4th call from "Bank of Amereica" "FIA Card Services."
URGENT that they speak to me. Want me to 'verify who I am so they can discuss my account with me.' In previous call I told them "THEY should verify their ID with me. =It might be anybody calling..." Kept demanding I give them my information. I get a name, department and callback number.
Called BOA and FIA. Had no employee with that name and could not identify the dept. I was given. =Phishers.
Today I told them I moved out. No forwarding address or phone number as "he left on unfriendly terms..." Phisher stated he would remove my number from their list. Won't matter. Next time they call they will speak to my Tele-Blocker.

Dont call the number. When calling I asked a lot of questions which bothered the person on the other line that I was asking. I wanted to find out details of the position applied for, but got a rude person on the line telling "When you go for a job interview do you let them speak before asking questions". I responded of course so go ahead and she got upset and hung up. Very rude. I believe they are bogus if you ask me and I do not trust them.

Got an email from "Jobbingtree.com" about a position after posting on Monster yesterday.
Got to the next level and was asked to call this number.. googled and got this page. The app I was asked to submit was pre-populated with my application info.
No real data on jobbingtree except that Mcafee considers the site "safe"
http://www.siteadvisor.com/sites/jobbingtree.com
Have a feeling they're posing as an employer, collecting people's info and probably selling it to someone. Not sure about the whole "App process" part- the job description was spelled and written poorly with "human" mistakes.. gonna go ahead and report them to Monster.

The above message was pertaining to calls from 877-777-2398 which will appear on your caller ID if you had such a call. from that number they are soliciting information illegally. Do NOT offer personal info.

calls that say they are "Card Services" may be calling for a bank.
For instance: if they say they are "FIA card service" they may be calling for your bank.
AND FIA Card services also addresses themselves as the bank-name ("Bank of America")
BUT they never put the two together in one sentence.
However:
Most companies which call with a verification of bank account information are 'phishing' and are fraud.
So, if they say: "I need your address to verify your account information, DONT give it.
They are 'phishing'
FIA Card Services is the ONLY telemarketing company that calls for ALL banks and they will
immediately verify who they are and which bank they are calling about (you wont need to ask)
and they will tell you that they are "upgrading your credit card" which means they are selling you
a new credit card. They CAN sell you a new credit card IF your credit is good and having 2 VISA cards
is not uncommon. FIA is an associate of all of the bank in the USA.
However,
IF you get a company who says they are FIA you have the right to hang up and call your (real) bank.
IF your (real) bank has a history of that call which you received, then they were (real) FIA.
FIA and your (real) bank have connected computers so that each bank has a record of the call.
if another company did call and there is no record, then it was NOT FIA. FIA and your (real) bank will have a (real) call history (together) so that you may verify which company called you. You have the right to hang up and to verify the call with your bank - ANYTIME. And do not hesitate if you wish. IF there was no record of the call at your bank customer service, the company is fraud and should be reported to this site or to your attorney general in your state or any other consumer complaint agency. You may call "Consumer Affairs" - a division of your State Attorney General for complaint forms to fill out and to send to them. They can also direct you to their online complaint forms for your State.
(this was a (real) information as a public service and no profits will be taken or administered).

I got a call from them today, they said before they could tell me anything about my card (I asked if I owed a bill or if they were trying to get me to add something) they would need to know my address. They got a little stumped when I said I would need to know from them where I opened my card at...
Call my card company, they told me that it was fradulant, and that I was right to not give them any information.

Received several calls from this number. Finally answered one, they said they were calling on a business matter concerning our Bank of America credit card. Wanted street address and birthdate to verify the account. We wouldn't give it to them. Called Bank of America, no problems with our account. We gave them the phone numbers and they said those numbers were not valid for anything concerning our account with them. They said DO NOT give anyone at those numbers any info and want us to send them the phone numbers. DO NOT TALK TO THESE PEOPLE.

They call me at least 4 times a day too and won't leave a message. They've been doing it for close to a week now. I tried to call them back and it took them about 5 rings before they picked up and said FIA card services. I hung up on them, but they still haven't stopped calling me though.

Called me four times in 24 hours. Finally answered the fourth time since I didn't recognize the number. Said they worked for BofA and had "information" for me, but wouldn't specify unless I verified specific personal information. I said "you must know how I feel, then - if you can't give me information unless you know who I am."

I have been getting a call from this number twice a day Monday through Saturday for about a month. They have only left a message twice in a foreign sounding voice that's hard to understand. The first time they called was on my cell phone and I told them they had the wrong number and they haven't called back.

Add my displeasure to the 877-777-2398 cadre. They call several times a day to my work number, and as everyone else has said, they leave no message.
I answered the first time they called and there was no one on the other end. This is getting very annoying!
Time for a class action? A group letter the the State Attorney General's Office?
I'm in, I'll even compose the letter!
