I couldn't agree with you more about Green Tree.Those little B*****d's call me before the damn payment is even due!Makes me just wanna say,"F*** you now",I think since you called me before it was due trying to act like my damn mama about it,I think I'll just wait and pay it next month now.....Somebody seriously needs to start a class action lawsuit on them for harassment......Where's that damn Attorney General when you need them?....

I, too, have the same complaints as everyone else. I won't even call them human beings or people for that matter! I lost my job after being on disability while undergoing surgery, radiation and chemo for breast cancer because I was out longer than 6 months. The stress from that, trying to recover, all my debtors constantly calling, and just trying to live life sent me over the edge to a complete mental collapse. Through all of that GreenTree was incorrigible. I finally just started laughing at their daily threats of ruining my credit and/or sending the sheriffs out and taking my house.
My response, "Don't threaten me! Your mentality speaks for itself. You go for it, report it to the CRAs. At this point, who cares!?!  Your threats don't mean s**t to me. And while you're at it, take the f***ing house, too! You can have it. we owe $100,000 more than it's worth now. So come and get!"
All of a sudden, I was talking to a different "person".... untill the next month!!!

Green Tree Financial keeps calling regarding a home loan that was foreclosed on in 2008.  They are just NOW calling me about it.  Do they even have the right to try and collect on this anymore?

I totally agree. Payment due on 16th. 10 day grace. They start calling on the 19th.  I never answer the phone. EVER. They are rude and annoying and they don't care about anything. Mind you I've been with them for 17 years. Always paid. Plus I never refinanced when I could have and saved a TON on interest. So my home has probably been paid for 3 x over already. Hate them.

My mortgage was originally with Bank of America and I had horrendous trouble with them trying to get paperwork from them and now they have a magnify glass up there *** for all the bad stuff they did, then they sold it off to Green Tree!! Ugh! I have been separated and divorced for over 3 years and they still keep calling and asking for my ex. I have told them it upsets my kids because it was an abusive situation but they keep calling and asking for him! AND I pay all the bills!!. The other day the chick wanted me to pay ck by phone and why wasn't that good enough? I want a paper trail ever since my lawyer said to never pay by Western Union or by computer.  And.... they charge an extra $12 processing fee when you do it by computer or over the phone.  REALLY???? I tell everyone I know not to do business with Bank of America and Green Tree!!!

ABSOLUTELY!! AGREED!! We Called and gave them a date when the payment would be there, and they STILL called EVERYDAY until they got the payment! Why bother calling you, if they aren't going to listen to you anyway? IDIOTS!

I just laugh when I see them calling.  I'm not answering, and they'll get my payment when I'm darn good and ready to send it.  They're so bitchy when you talk to them, so why give them the satisfaction?

It's Greentree and they do totally suck.  Dealt with them forn 12 years and finally just walked away from my mobile home and will be filing bankruptcy on it.  Not only did they harass me about my mortgage, they wanted me to go to the neighbors and tell him he had to get out!!  I told them to not bother me aqbout my neighbors or I would call a lawyer on my neighbors behalf.  Can't wait to be done with them.  12 years was 12 years too long!!  DO NOT GET A MORTGAGE THRU THEM AND IF YOU KNOW SOMEONE WHO IS THINKING ABOUT IT--TELL THEM DON'T!!!!

They purchased my mortgage from Di-Tech. I enetered into a mortgage modification agreement with Di-Tech the month before Green Tree purchased it. Green Tree refuses to recognize the modification and billed me at the old interest rate and started stacking on penalties. I have the modification agreement in hand-but they say its not binding. I hired a lawyer, and now make the reduced payment from the modification agreement into a bank account. Green Tree calls 10X's a day, but I just answer the phone and leave it and let them talk to air. They know they are only supposed to call the lawyer, but they don't care.

I owe more on the 1st mortgage than the house is worth, so they won't get squat if they foreclose so who cares. They just can't get it through their heads that they are wrong. In the meantime, the money they are supposed to get is sitting in the bank and my monthly payment gets added to the account-what a bunch of idiots-they could be getting paid instead they talk to air...

I dont even have an account with these people and they call me all the time! Im guessing who ever owned my cell # before me did ..

This is Greentree calling. They call every month if they don't get their payment by the due date. In a perfect world that would be possible. Unfortunately we do not live in a perfect world.

I am so tired of Green Tree calling me. They just called and hung up on me. There is a grace period for mortgages and equity line ands loans. I just wish they would leave me the f**k alone. I would so love to refinance them out of my life.

I have had numerous conversations with Green Tree regarding my mortgage payment.  My hours were cut to 20 per week from 40 the first week in April and my mother, who just passed away on Monday of this week, was sending me money, but she couldn't continue, so I asked GT to defer a payment or two. I had spoke to so many reps and no one talks to each other there. I get asked the same questions over and over. I now just ignore their phone calls.  There is so much "stoopid" going on in the nation.

My late husband had a mobile home morgaged through these idiots and on the day he passed they were trying to put me on the street....they won't remorgage it in my name, yet they keep taking my money and calling me when the payment is one day late.....what will happen if I juzt quit paying this note as I have nothing to prove I have any rights to this place????? Is it legal for them to take my money ?????

They call my phone with the following numbers 8-10 times a day and I don't even have a mortgage with them anymore.

I registered my name and number in the national do not call list and reported all the numbers.  Hopefully this will resolve some headaches.

Greeen Tree Sucks. GMAC sold my mortgage to them.  They call and call and call if you are late.  Very uncooperative.  When they call, I pick it up and just put the phone down on the counter.  I leave it off the hook for about 10 min.  I don't know if that does anything, but it makes me feel better.

This company calls my phone about 20 times per day. They call before 9am and after 9pm each day..even sundays..

Mine isn't late and they still call me!!  Multiple times a day!!  Today is the 19th, my payment isn't due until the 1st - overkill??
