Can anyone say phishing scam?  It sounds to me like they are calling to try and get info from you claiming to be a state farm claims agent.   Having worked as an Insurance Agent for a number of years (though not with State Farm) I can tell you that no claims agent is going to call someone not in their system with an active claim.  Therefore they may be making up that bit and trying to solicit Name, address, credit info, policy number (just to verify of course) that they can use and sell on a phone list (they already have your phone number)  or to file fraudulent claims if you provide policy number etc.

Call comes up Caller ID Blocked and then they leave a message with a claim number and to call 877-783-2725. No business name or anything is left on the one message they do leave after calling several times in a row.

Received a call and a voicemail from this number at my work desk number. As other users have stated, it was in regards to a claim that was filed with State Farm Insurance. However, I am not a State Farm customer, and the name of the customer referenced by the caller was not my name.

My State Farm claim dept letting me a check is being sent to cover the rest of the needed repairs.

This is the phone number that appears every time my State Farm Adjuster calls back from the main office.  Legitimate State Farm number.  

People change their cell phone numbers so often that unfortunately old information is in the system as current phone numbers.

It isn't SF fault that the previous owner of the cell phone number didn't update when they had a claim.

This is a legitimate State Farm claim number.  Had a tree fall on my house and they called me back to discuss the claim.  Just wish they would attach their name to the number.

It really was State Farm about a claim I had filed.

This is a legitmate SF number.   SF probably has your number on file for their policyholder.  If you return the call, they can update their records so you do no receive further calls.

Did not answer, but listened to voicemail.  Claims they are a State Farm rep investigating a claim, but need more information to carry out "my" search.  I am not and never have been a State Farm client, nor filed a claim against one.  Total BS.  Probably phishing.  If legit, SF should be ashamed.  If not legit, SF should investigate further to protect their brand.

State Farm Catastrophe Claims - following up on Homeowners Claim

I received this call as well - funny, I've NEVER been a State Farm customer.

Left a message re: a gas line repair claim that I haven't filed.  Came into my cell phone as Restricted.  Number they left for me to call back was 877-783-1200

I got this same call from Brett at State farm the first time I just hung up and the next time I ignored it he left a voice mail and it was about a claim. This is odd I have no clue what the area code is and he called my cell phone?

Just State Farm, no reason to complain, unless they are not paying.
