Called my house in Maine and asked for manager, I asked her to repeat, she wanted to speak to the manager.  When I asked who she was calling, she hung up. 10/2/2007

A man called wanting to speak to my husband (we own a roofing business) I told him I could give him a message and he said he could not wait. And he said I was not professional and he hung up on me.

Asked if I wanted to continue our on line search engine advertising with them. I said do not recall signing up with them and why would I need  their services. She replied that for the last year there has been 754 referrals from them to our website, to which I replied That's strange as no referrals from them have been recorded.
I then asked whow did i sign up for this and she said we have a verbal agreement. I said I have never verbally agreed to anything regarding our web site and she HUNG UP.

When I answered, a person asked to speak to the manager. I identified myself as the business owner. The person stated that she just wnated to update the information for my "WHITE PAGES" listing. She asked if the business was still "???" and I responded that everything was the same, nothing had changed. She then informed me the cost for the listing was still $449.00 (the same as last time) and would I like to resubscribe? When I said I had never subscribed to the service previously, she hung up. No if's, but's, thank you's or kiss my a**. Just a fast disconnect. Calling the number resulted in receiving a message that I had reached an OUT-GOING MESSAGE CENTER AND TO CALL MY SPECIFIC ACCOUNT REPRESENTATIVE.

I just had a phone call from Tim Burke as well.  He gave me the same script as Rick P.  I asked for his phone number and he hung up.

identified himself as from "Online Business Listing", and said that I had cancelled my subscription, so he would send me a final invoice for the "2006 listing". I of course told him not to bother, but he indicated that he was going to pursue it. (good luck) Of course when you call this number back, they don't answer.

Calls and hangs up!!
