You have to phone service providers and ask to be put on the "internal do-not-call list". Otherwise they promise not to sell your number, but they'll call themselves. TV, phone, etc. providers want "new subscriber" statistics for shareholder meetings. They don't care how many left, just how many signed up. Sounds great when they deliver it to the CEO.

Sales is all Cox cares about they call trying to sell you more of their lousy services. And they won't take you off the list. They keep annoying their existing customers month after month instead of generating new business from unsuspecting people that don't know they are lousy. So over Cox and can't wait to move to change services.

TV, phone, internet is a VERY competitive field. Have you called & threatened to switch? All big companies have a loyality department. Ask for it & TELL them you're not happy. They will give you a deal to keep you.

I am so over Cox---they give better deals to their new customers and don't even give a break one to their 10 year plus customers- they are greedy. I did the math based on their 50,000+ customers in my area alone and on an AVERAGE LOW rate they take in over $4,000,000 a month!!!!!

Not sure why I got a call from this number, if it was cox cable, then they should check first to make sure the customer has not already paid their bill. It is annoying to be awaken due to ignorance of businesses, people have no respect for those who work night-shift.
