I do not have any debts I owe, but recently found some activity on a friends acct that very much looks like fraud and unauthorized.  The person is elderly and has no known loans but a company associated with the company you are representing took money from his account 3 times in 2 days in the amount of 3000.00. Dublin Hyatt Finanical.  And there were many other debits.  After reading all the stories about calls from your company - hearshie kemp llc, and then reading your post anyone with half a brain would think of scammers and fraud.  Even the better business of NY does not have you listed as a creditable company.  I have to wonder why you are still taking money from people  as you are.
If you would like to discuss, post a good phone number here so I can call and not get a generic message that no one is available and leave message.

Correct federal law supersides state law and these payday loans online are guided by federal law which does not prohibit payday lenders. Nobody put a gun to your head and makes you take them out. Payback the principal dollar amount borrowed. Make some effort

I received a call from 877-787-4717, the person proceeded to tell me that I had written a bad check. He refused to tell me the amount, to whom it was supposedly written or to even pronounce my last name correctly. I asked if he could send me something in writing and he just kept telling me that I would be arrested! He didn't tell me the name of the company he was calling from, either. Can they do this? How is this even legal? When I asked him what information he had, such as my address, place of employment, etc., he became angry and hung up on me.

I got a call from this same company stating I owed on a payday loan from "2007". The person who called me stated his name was a "John  Pierce" and he was The Mediater for this company. He insisted that I pay today the $400 that they were asking for due from a $550 payday loan that he said I had owed. I stated I didn't get a payday loan in "2007". He stated that if I didn't pay the amount today that they would proceed with litigation which was in two days. I told him since I have two days then give me the check number, the account number I used, and the Banks name along with the name of the PayDay Loan Place I supposedly got the money from. He started over talking me and gave me a bogus account number I never had and then told me he had given me the wrong information and put me on hold for a good 20 minutes. Then another guy got on the phone, but gave no name and was very irrate with me stating if I didn't make arrangements that they will proceed with litigation and have me arrested. I told them that if they couldn't give me any information then I wasn't going to give them any information. He got mad and said see you and your attorney in court and hung up in my face. I called the Police and reported the harrassing calls and the Fraud I know is the case here..so please, if you receive a call from 1-877-787-4717..do not send these people any money..investigate your own bank accounts..most banks can pull records as far back as "2007" showing actions in and out of your accounts..better to be safe then sorry..I'm glad I played it Safe!

Until you can provide proof of debt for all of these supposed debts that you pursue, as far as I'm concerned and I'm not even on your roster, you can do what the rest of your ilk do:  Eat sh*t and puke.

You're no more legitimite than a three dollar bill.

Oh how judgemental.......  I have proof of payments that paid off completely an advance loan of only $300.00 in 2007 and the original company has sold this paid off debt to several collection agencies.  By the way your work usage needs work. It is not "by law were obiligated" the correct grammar is "by law we're (or we are).  Were past tense of are.  Now, I did not get a bank draft from the collection company whose proper spelling is Hirsch & Kemp LLC.  Pay day lenders are, and the borrowers are not the cause of you loosing 3/4 of your 401K - it is the banks themselves who over extended mortgages and business loans.  Not pay day lenders.  Pay day lenders are not banks - they are private companies.  I know, I lobby against pay day lenders now due to their unfair practices.  DOW is not driven by pay day lenders.  I suggest you get educated before spouting such garbage.  Pay day lending is bad business practice, however they are a nit on the wall where the economic down turn is concerned.  I have also researched - 90% of all 401K funds only lost 17% but have now recovered very well.  You exude bitterness just in your attach on "you DEBTORS"... Sorry sir/ms but look to your investment group and their management of your funds and do not blame banks for the bad practices of pay day lenders.  Two different businesses.  My debt was paid and yes I have the right to fight unscrupulous debt collectors.

Consumers across the country report that they're getting telephone calls from people trying to collect on loans the consumers never received or on loans they did receive but for amounts they do not owe. Others are receiving calls from people seeking to recover on loans consumers received but where the creditors never authorized the callers to collect for them. So what's the story?

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the nation's consumer protection agency, is warning consumers to be on the alert for scam artists posing as debt collectors. It may be hard to tell the difference between a legitimate debt collector and a fake one. Sometimes a fake collector may even have some of your personal information, like a bank account number. A caller may be a fake debt collector if he:

is seeking payment on a debt for a loan you do not recognize;
refuses to give you a mailing address or phone number;
asks you for personal financial or sensitive information; or
exerts high pressure to try to scare you into paying, such as threatening to have you arrested or to report you to a law enforcement agency.

If you think that a caller may be a fake debt collector:
Ask the caller for his name, company, street address, and telephone number. Tell the caller that you refuse to discuss any debt until you get a written "validation notice." The notice must include the amount of the debt, the name of the creditor you owe, and your rights under the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
If a caller refuses to give you all of this information, do not pay! Paying a fake debt collector will not always make them go away. They may make up another debt to try to get more money from you.

Stop speaking with the caller. If you have the caller's address, send a letter demanding that the caller stop contacting you, and keep a copy for your files. By law, real debt collectors must stop calling you if you ask them to in writing.

Do not give the caller personal financial or other sensitive information. Never give out or confirm personal financial or other sensitive information like your bank account, credit card, or Social Security number unless you know whom you're dealing with. Scam artists, like fake debt collectors, can use your information to commit identity theft ? charging your existing credit cards, opening new credit card, checking, or savings accounts, writing fraudulent checks, or taking out loans in your name.

Contact your creditor. If the debt is legitimate ? but you think the collector may not be ? contact your creditor about the calls. Share the information you have about the suspicious calls and find out who, if anyone, the creditor has authorized to collect the debt.

Report the call. Contact the FTC and your state Attorney General's office with information about suspicious callers. Many states have their own debt collection laws in addition to the federal FDCPA. Your Attorney General's office can help you determine your rights under your state's law.>

I've been receiving phones calls from this company, mainly from a Mr. Cooper saying that I wrote a bad check, and he has been calling different numbers at my place of employment.  It's very annoying, and he keeps referring to the 4 digits of my social as 8524, which by the way is nowhere near close my social. How do I stop this crazed man from calling my place of employment?

If you are getting harrassed from these people please see the below info from the FBI's e-scam website: http://www.fbi.gov/scams-safety/e-scams

Telephone Collection Scam Related to Delinquent Payday Loans
12/01/2010?The IC3 receives a high volume of complaints from victims of payday loan telephone collection scams. In these scams, a caller claims that the victim is delinquent in a payday loan and must repay the loan to avoid legal consequences. The callers purport to be representatives of the FBI, Federal Legislative Department, various law firms, or other legitimate-sounding agencies. They claim to be collecting debts for companies such as United Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Net, and other Internet check cashing services.

One of the most insidious aspects of this scam is that the callers have accurate information about the victims, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, employer information, bank account numbers, and names and telephone numbers of relatives and friends. The method by which the fraudsters obtained the personal information is unclear, but victims often relay that they had completed online applications for other loans or credit cards before the calls began.

The fraudsters relentlessly call the victim?s home, cell phone, and place of employment. They refuse to provide to the victims any details of the alleged payday loans and become abusive when questioned. The callers threaten victims with legal actions, arrests, and in some cases physical violence if they refuse to pay. In many cases, the callers even resort to harassment of the victim?s relatives, friends, and employers.

Some fraudsters instruct victims to fax a statement agreeing to pay a certain dollar amount, on a specific date, via prepaid visa card. The statement further declares that the victim would never dispute the debt.

These telephone calls are an attempt to obtain payment by instilling fear in the victims. Do not follow the instructions of the caller.

If you receive telephone calls such as these, you should:
?    Contact your banking institutions;
?    Contact the three major credit bureaus and request an alert be put on your file;
?    Contact your local law enforcement agencies if you feel you are in immediate danger;
?    File a complaint at www.IC3.gov.

I too asked for written documentation and he refused to send any saying they can not. I asked for a number for someone who could and Kenneth told me there isn't anyone because everything was already in motion and they were going to garnish my wages. So they went from having me arrested(criminal charges) to going to court(civil) to garnishing my wages... but they don't want to give me anything in writing.

We received a call from a Stanley Sims looking for my daughter.  All he would tell me was that there was a pending court case, even gave me a case number, but wouldn't tell me what it was about claiming that would be illegal.  Same evening, same man, called someone I know.  She answered the phone and he said "Oh (my daughter's name), about time I reached you (it wasn't my daughter who answered the phone).  She said her name wasn't who he thought it was and he asked her name.   She asked for his name before revealing hers and told him to never call her number again.

I called 877=787=4717 to get their address.  When the receptionist asked why I told her "in regards to the MO attorney general's office."  Minutes later, some guy calls, asking if this was the Attorney General's office, that I called a client of his, stating that I was the attorney general's office, that if I call them again they'll file a complaint against me.  I mean, this guy was screaming at me and then had the nerve to just hang up on me.  He claimed he was an attorney, YEAH, RIGHT!  You talk about rude, yeah buddy, I've got your phone number too and when my complain is looked into, your name will be on it.
