DO NOT give them email address, that is how they are getting info about you...they are getting you IP address,Deletethat email account ASAP!

They have to provide written proof of the debt upon your request, if they can't do that they can't collect it at all.

These are typical intimidation tactics by really incompetent collectors, or crooks pretending to be collectors.

I also received a call saying that they were going to deliver papers for a civil case, regarding wire fraud and bad checks for a pay day loan.  Called back only to be told that nothing can be done except pay $800 today or $1300 over 6 months.  Is this real???  Did anyone actually get served papers?  They wouldn't give the name of the company.

I called the number back after I recieved the same call, The rep. told me it was for a payday loan?? "Check N Go"

ITS NOT A SCAM...I GOT A CALL LAST WEEK AND THOUGHT NOTHING OF IT, UNTIL A DUDE SHOWED UP @ MY JOB TODAY AND I HAD TO SIGN PAPERS...HE WANTED ME TO HAVE MY SUP WITNESS IT AND EVERYTHING!!!! I TRIED TO CALL THE PHONE NUMBER, BUT THEY SAID IT WAS TOO LATE AND THEY COULDNT HELP ME! GUESS I'LL HAVE MY DAY IN COURT :-(

I got a similar call last night from a guy who referenced this number (his call came up as blocked).  He mentioned a friend of mines name and said she'd used me as a reference.  He said he'd be out to my house or place of business in 48 hours for a signture.  I called the number back and it was completely sketchy.  They wouldn't tell me anything - no company name - and said I just needed to sign the papers.  So bizarre... I'd really like to get to the bottom of this.

I also got a message simular but the mans name was hunter saying...first off he used my maiden name. and he said he had papres to deliver that needed my signiture and something about an employer. and he gave me the number 877-793-8331 and some case number..... i have no clue what this is about... did you ever get to the bottom of it... if so anything i can do about it?

this person called my job saying he had a legal affadivit in the town where i lived, but did not know who he was delivering the papers for and gave me this number to contact with a case number! said he's see me in 48 hours....COME ON!!!

a friend received a call from this number for someone else, regarding papers that needed to be signed the next day.  two other names were mentioned as well.  the caller was a man named Chris.

Left a message for another person at my number, saying I had to sign for papters the next day and gave a fake case number.  What a joke ! Guy said his name was Chris. Caller ID was unknown
