I just received a post card in the mail from Federal Union Postalgram telling me i would be recieving $35,000, i called and they wanted me to pay $24.95 for the kit. Right then i knew it was a scam. How can we stop this from happening? They are doing this thru the United States Postal Service, is'nt that a fedarel crime?
| Superc@centurylink.net 2011-10-25 14:32:32 Unknown |
This is the third card I recieved.I called the first time and they wanted 4.95 shipping and a credit card number,I told them I wasn't giving out my information on the phone, but would send a check in the mail, they said no.I knew it was a scam.I have had over 100 calls saying I won from 25,000.oo to8.5 million and a new car from American Sweepstakes Co,Winners International,Gold Rush International,United Winners Assosiation,Global International Sweepstakes,Federal Reserve Board,The Federal Trade Commision, and Publishers Clearing House. So beware of scams, want from 200.oo to 4,500.oo.I have names phone numbers and addresses. If you call some numbers you'll get a big phone bill.I called a 876 number and it cost 24.00.Started checking FTC,and other sites and found out about different scams.THANK YOU. The number 877-796-1688,is a scam.

It is a scam... Has any one gone throug with it and actually gotten grant money? If you get anything saying you can get a grant, or start an online job by paying for just shipping and handeling.. it is most always a scam.. You souldn't have to pay to get a job or a grant. THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO PAY YOU!
| sunshine 2011-10-15 02:47:45 Unknown |

I filed an online complaint with the United States Postal Service and after the complaint is filed a page comes up that says there are several criteria that trigger the USPS to commence an investigation - one of those criteria is the number of complaints on file with the USPS. I would suggest that everyone that has received one of these little gems file a formal complaint with the USPS as well as the local law enforcement agency in your area.
Here's the link:
https://postalinspectors.uspis.gov/forms/MailFraudComplaint.aspx
Let's get these people, and thoroughly.
P.S.
Is there any way the list of complaints on this page can be sent to the USPS?

I would like for the real federal government, to pursue these illegal impersonator's. They wont leave me alone. I to received a postage note stating i could receive 35,000 in free grant money. This is unfair to united states citizens and should be addressed by the govenment. This company is using tax payers money to scanddle you into thinking you are eligible in receiveing free grant money from our government. 1-877-796-1688

I received the post card"Federal Union Postalgram" for a grant of $35,000.00 , I called the number and as soon as the girl on the other end asked for a credit card to pay the $17.95 for a Grant Package I said no thanks. The girl told me to call back if I change my mind, but I checked the phone number on the net and found this site and I feel much better now..

I too received a Federal Union Postalgram, informing me of a Government Grant pending.I was to call a 800 number to obtain 35,000.00. This is the third one I have received. I have totally ignored them.I'm sure someone has been "SUCKERED" by these! I also want off that 'SUCKER LIST.'

Don't reply to any unsolicited mail or contests of any kind that involves the mail. Once you stop doing that these types of mailings will be reduced. Unfortunately, some will always show up in your mailbox.
