Debt Collector
This phone number is for Pinnacle Financial group. They call me numerous times a week from VARIOUS numbers. They're calling to collect for a t-mobile account. Typically when a debt collection company calls you it is via auto dialer. It usually takes a couple of seconds from the time you say hello to the time a rep answers you (the computer is connecting you to a live person.) Which is why you are greeted by silence when you answer. This is usually a dead sign of a collection company. Sometimes the computer drops the call before you are connected. Either way it's irritating. Debt collection companies do no have to abide by the do not call registry, as they are calling to collect on a balance owed and the registry is to protect people from soliciting or people trying to sell you something. BUT collection companies do have to abide by FDCPA Laws and if they have the wrong number and you explain that to them, they are not suppose to continue to call. The FDCPA is also the reason they do not leave messages, as it is againt the law for them to do so.

You people are all very stupid.  It is not against the law to call a number when you have a purpose of calling that number and obviously if a debt colloector is calling you they have a very valid reason to do so.  If it is a wrong number try answering it and telling them it is a wrong number and answer the questions that they ask you, don't just hang up that doesn't fix anything.  Pay your debts in the first place and debt collectors won't have a need to call you.  I hope all of you idiots realize that these people are just doing and job and an auto dialer is the one calling you than a person gets the call transfered to them, that's the click you hear after about 10 seconds the machine transfering a call not a person hanging up.  Also, if you don't pay your debt with the collection angency that has your debt you're never going to get it paid because your original creditor no longer wants to deal with you and they've turned it over to a collectioin agency for that exact reason.

Why don't you make the damned effort to get a correct phone number for the person you are trying to reach you lazy slob!  Calling my number over and over again for somebody I have never heard of is not going to hasten our introduction, I can assure you.  I will not pull said individual out of a hat for you.  But maybe, just maybe, if you come a little closer, I can help YOU pull your head out of your a**.  Although I have toyed with the idea of lying and saying I am that person just to get you to deliberately violate privacy laws, and then using my super sleuth skills to find that person and hand you to him on a silver platter.

I get daily calls asking for some who previously had my number. They refuse to stop calling me until I give them my full identity for their employer. Now I just answer the calls and put the phone down and waste their time.

Got a call from this number, the voicemail they left was 7 seconds of heavy breathing, a sneeze that sounded vaguely female, then 6 more seconds of heavy breathing. No clue what it was about, but was kind of funny

I use youmail and have this set to a ditched call, but it never even rings enough times to get routed to the ditch.  I haven't answered the call based on the messages I see on here, because I don't have any debt, so I know it isn't for me.  I get A LOT of calls that aren't for me, some to verify employment and some to collect a debt.  Kind of annoying because this has been my number for a lot of years and I don't know how these people are getting my phone number.

For the past few months we've been getting calls from this number. Every time I answer there's no one there. I give it a few seconds for someone to respond, or assuming a machine is about to start speaking & nothing. I tried calling the number back & all I got was a repeated message saying "Thank you for calling. All calls may be monitored and/or recorded for training purposes" (something along that line). There was no ring & it never went to a representative or anything. Just kept repeating the same line over & over again. Unfortunately, my caller ID just says "Toll Free Call". No idea who this is.

I get these calls and when I answer, they don't respond, after about 10 seconds they hang up. I tried calling to see what it is about and can't get anyone to help. They continue to call and say nothing when I answer. I guess the best way to handle this is to write to the FCC and State Attorney General's office. If they get enough complaints we can get their license to practice pulled. I suggest everyone being harassed illegally by these people begin doing just that.

I keep getting called by these people up to four times a day, claiming to be Pinnacle Financial.
The debt they call about *is* an outstanding debt of mine, but I still feel that they are a scam. Not only are the calls usually dead air for up to 10-11 seconds and then it hangs up, but during one of the first times they called and the guy was "confirming" my address he went through 3 different ones before my actual. Those three different ones I had NEVER lived at, one of which was in a state I've never been to.
I've gotten to the point where I don't answer even though it's annoying since I sleep days (of course, when they call.) When I am able, I will be taking care of the debt through the company I have the debt with instead of these suspicious people.

Gal called about 4 times asking for some Mexican.  I've answered the phone once when the Gal called.  I didn't know who she was looking for.  Told her I don't know who that is and that she has the wrong number.  The idiot said, " Do you know this person?"  I said, there's 350 million people in the U.S.,...I probably know a couple hundred.  No...I don't know any Mexicans.

Then the idiot calls 3 more times as the secretary tells her that she has the wrong number.  We have 12 employees and none have ever been Mexicans.  We don't know who she is looking for, but I can understand why she isn't finding them.  She keeps following the wrong trail.

Just remember when you deal with this type of idiot.  They have this job because Taco Bell already filled the position.

Wife gets calls 3 x's a day from these louts. She called and kindly asked them to stop as she is a teacher and it disrupts the class room.

Their response - If you don't want calls turn your ringer off.

These people are total creeps, at this point wish everyone there the worst possible.

I used to get calls from this company all the time as well, all I did was add their number to my blocked numbers (I have comcast for my home phone service you can just dial *60 and wait for the prompts to add numbers on your block call list, once you add a number they can no longer get through to you).

I continually get calls from this number. My phone is registered on the Do Not Call lists. When I answer the phone, the call disconnects. This happens several times a day/week.

I think this # is for a medical collection agency possibly.

the Do Not Call Registry DOES work actually, but if they think they have the # correct they'll keep calling - because the DNC doesn't count the ones with people who have worked with someone in the last six months or it's for a debt. People never read the small print. LOL

Tell them ON the phone when you're talking to them... put MY # on YOUR do not call... theirs is way different than the Nat'l Do Not Call. If they say the won't....get their name and ID # if they have one and turn them in. It's illegal. And if they call you even 1 second after 9pm YOUR time, turn them in. :)

I am getting calls from them nearly daily asking for Bruce and Amelia. They are rude, accuse me of lying, and ask for personal information. I have no debt, and when I started recieving these calls at this number I was 16, thus no credit score.

I am 20 as of yesterday (and still have no debt). :)

I don't wish to change my number, as it consists of only 6s and 9s, thus very easy for folks to remember.
