Because I have Comcast Business class Internet service at my home, they keep calling me to offer me additional business services. I explain to them every time that I'm not really a business, but simply have their business level Internet service so I can get faster speed and static IP. So, I would never be interested in their business telephone service, etc. The idiots never take notes on that piece of info I give them, and so I have to repeat this every few months. The only positive thing I can say about these annoying calls is, "at least they speak English without an Indian accent."

Can't believe actually think the Do Not Call List actually means anything.  It is another worthless government bureaucracy that only wastes taxpayer money.  The big telcos are making money off these call centers through all the phone lines they provide and put pressure on the government not to intervene as it would significantly impact their revenue stream.  And, secondly, the government no sooner shuts one of them down then four more open up.  Once we find these places, walk in the front door and kill everyone in sight maybe they'll think twice before opening another one.

It's Comcast. No biggie, they want to know if you're happy w/their service.

Well f*** them.  If someone is already on a DNC list then they should not be calling them. The onus is on the caller to be in compliance with the DNC registry.

They keep calling me. I think it might be comcast too, but knowone ever picks up. SOOO annoying.

People called from this number are on a pre-generated list that has been provided to them. It is their understanding they are reaching out to existing Comcast customers. If you find there is no one on the other line, their call has not been connected to you yet. They just want to fill you in on an exclusive offer on Comcast services since they are contracted by Comcast. If they have been annoying you with calls, they probably haven't been able to talk to the person they need to speak with. Please be patient, as it is only their job to be making these calls and do not realize how many calls you may have received that day from one of their co workers. Let them know if you are on the DNC list so they can remove your number from the list they were provided.

Every time when they called, my Caller ID would only show the number and "800 SERVICE".  Since I had no idea who it really was, I never bothered to pick up.  After I found out it was only Comcast, I sent a "nasty gram" to their CEO asking that my name and number be deleted.

I am constantly getting calls from this number, and there is never anyone on the other end of the line.

I received 3 calls from this number from 3 different people all on the same day (3/15/11) saying they were calling about our Comcast business service and could offer more services.  The next day I received a paper solicitation in the mail from Comcast business services so I called their 800 number. The rep said they had a 3rd party vendor who was were not Comcast direct.  Unbelievably, I received a 4th call from a 4th person at this number on 3/16/11!

It's Comcast Business Services pitching a discount on several of their services.  In my case, I have Comcast Business, so do not consider it Unsolicited; just annoying.  They left a callback number, etc. Professional.
