Very unprofessional of a comment you made in reference to the people who pay your sorry self ,Have you looked at how many people Hate your Sorry Company I had Met life before it was sold to you sorry PEOPLE took over been down hill since ,can not payments online unless you get charged ,can not have it sent out of your bank payment because it takes 10 Fricken days to get it to you ,not like 1 or 2 business days all other bills I do on billpay thru Wells Fargo .I hope you and your sorry lame excuse of a company goes belly up just like the swine fanny mae loans did.

These people called my home 4 times one right after the other they tried to block their number but they left their phone number to call them back. On the 4th call they tried to leave a message. I told them the person you are looking for doesnt live here. I also told them this was harassment. The woman claimed federal laws and collections laws do not apply to her she is exempt from those laws and she laughed at me.
After I called her a very bad name told her not to call here again I hung up. The same woman called my cell phone repeatedly then once again left this phone number. Claiming some person who is not related to me has been officially servered... I did notice a lot of posters claimed this was Green Tree financial. Looks like Green Tree was either bought out by Allied or changed their name...

And, we, has employees with Green Tree have all control over the mail system and when it will be delivered, NOT!! Once the payment is recieved at our payment processing center, it is processed the same day and applied to the account. We strive to make sure that your experience with us is great. Please don't hate us because we did not recieve a payment in the mail, who knows what happened from your mail box to the post office.

Greentree should be banned. They call here EVERYDAY using at least a dozen toll free numbers. They rarely leave a message and when they do, they identify themselves as "greentree, a debt collector". When I answer usually the line goes dead. If a person happens to be there they are rude, not one bit of professionalism. One guy demanded that I make a payment right then over the phone with a $10 surcharge wanting my banking or credit card information. I refused to blindly give that information over the phone to a stranger. He then threatened me that he will ruin my credit if I didn't give him that information RIGHT NOW ! ! I hung up right after I told him that my next payment would arrive by the post office. Somehow today they have found my cell number and are now calling it like a ceiling fan stuck on high speed. I just hope the cell phones "reject list" has enough space for all of their numbers. I do make my payment every month, just late and I do make the late payment fee rounded up to the nearest dollar. I would think they would be happy with that arrangement BUT NO !!!!! they seem to enjoy trying to make my and other peoples life miserable. God knows I would love to pay these a$$holes off !

That was a great idea! Thank you!! And now I'm seriously thinking about filing a lawsuit. Our original loan was with Bank of America, and they switched it to Greentree without our having a say. We've had nothing but trouble with greentree.

Ridiculous ...B of A sold our second to the company. We always pay by the 15th...they start calling on the 1....i just ignore their calls...but calling ten times a day will not make the payment appear quicker...and we have auto pay which is even more ridiclous we never have missed a payment!

Yup...Greentree. I awnsered one time and got a "please hold" automated message. I KNOW they want their money, but it's really rude to ask someone to wait by using an automated system. I won't awnser until I hear a person on the awnser machine.

I absolutely hate this company. My mortgage is serviced by them. They called because I sent in two checks to pay the mortgage (in the same envelope mind you). They said my payment wasn't received I told them 2 checks were sent and one was there because they only wanted the amount of the second check. I reluctantly agreed to pay over the phone aafter they assured me they lost the other check. Well guess what they cashed the second check and did the ach transfer consequently overdrawing our bank account. While trying to resolve the November payment on December 3rd they are harassing me about the December payment. I don't even answer my phone now they are total A _ _ H _ _ _ S!

Yeah. Greentree. These people are total f***king A-holes. 15 days late, and they call 10 times a day. They are calling my 25 year old neice and harrassing her. They are sending people out to take pictures of my house. Even when I am on time they find some reason to harrass me. They tell me my insurance and property taxes are not current, when they are.

They call after 3 days now it used to be at least 9-10 days, they call at least 6-7 times a day.uggggggg.
I HATE green tree and after I get them paid off no more loans from them EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why dont they go after the people that dont pay for months at a time instead of the ones who are trying very hard to get them paid on time?????

We've never ever been late, not once. Yet ever single month they call and ask if we are having difficulties. I used to calmly say, "Have we ever been late, " and "Don't you know that it is not due until the 14th and today is the 5th (6th, 10th, 12th, whatever)"? I don't know why they continue to call EVERY single month harassing us! Its only $300. sheesh.
Whatever you do, don't borrow from them, seems like they're are low on funds or in extremely dire straights.

Called at 8AM this morning. Of course there is an automated voice telling you to please hold. Never a good sign. Then the dude gets on and starts without telling me his name or his company and says we are two days late. But here's the thing. We are not late. In fact, Greentree owes us money because they overbilled two months ago. I didn't know this until I talked to my wife afterwards, but the entire call sounded shady to me. I don't conduct any money transactions over the phone and I explained this to the dude and he wouldn't hear it. Now that I know they owe us money I'm begging for them to call back.

Have been dealing with them for 15 yrs. The automated calls start the day after your payment was due. Sometimes 3, 4 and 5 calls a day, all automated. If they cannot reach you with one number of theirs, they use another one. Have even had them call people with the same last name and harass them for info. Have gotten calls at 9 pm.
I guess either transfer to another company or pay them off sooner to stop the harassment. Would not suggest them to anyone.

Greentree-- aka collection business-- If you want to get rid of them, like I have thus far, it takes a ton of patience.
First off never ever answer or return their phone call. They started out using an auto caller and it would leave a recorded message. I set up my phone to send their number to voice mail. It was rare they called more than once a day although sometimes they might try 2 times but never on Sunday.
Now don't pass out but this went on for around 3-4 months. In fact it got to the point where I would guess what time of day they would call. Latest call I reveived was around 8:30PM. After these months went by then they went to real time calls with an actual person leaving the message. Since I have never and will never answer or call back they have dropped down to maybe one or two calls a week now. Actually today is one week since they called last.
I started to change my number but also knew they could get my new cell number just like they did the first time so decided to wait them out and see what happened. The most important thing, as I said, is to not talk to them at all. They deal with debts that are older than most of their employees I believe. Good luck.

GT is just like owing the Mafia. They even threaten to send Guido to visit, or at least that's what one GT employee told my teenage daughter at one time. I lost my job in April 2010 and it took me several months to find a new job. While I was out of work my husband and I lived off his income and my retirement, for which we now owe the IRS. While I was working for a local county office for 10 years we got paid once a month, at the end of the month. I repeatedly asked for them to move my payment from the 15th to the 1st so I could pay on time, this request was repeatedly denied. So for the 10 years I was employed my payment was 2 weeks late because I couldn't afford to pay 2 payments in order to pay ahead so I could continue to pay on the 1st. Now I am only making about 1/2 what I used to and we can not afford all of our bills in the same month. I am currently behind and have a deferment pending but they are still calling. I don't know what to do anymore.
