These effers just called me.  I called them back blocking my caller ID and they refused to take the two numbers I wanted removed.  They said they need my information first, starting with a name.  Told them to take me of of their cold call list; they said they are calling for a reason.  Liars.

I have been getting calls from this organization at least 4-5 times a day. I found out that my bank set up this bill pay account and I did not approve this. I just opened an account with US Bank and they refered me to this company. Just called the number back and they stated that I will not  be receving anymore call and that I will be taken off their list. We shall see what happens.

This is a legitimate compnay. I was overdrawn on my checking but have it set up to pay out of my savings if I go over. That's good, but the problem is if you don't catch it soon and it happens again. Then your checking account is suspended and your amount is read as zero. The bank does not notify you when this happens, and if you don't keep a close watch on your balance everything goes haywire. The company which pays your bills by phone gives you time to fix things up, but if you don't know anything is wrong, you don't fix it. When this number calls you, they don't leave a message on your answer machine, and you are still in the dark. I looked up the number and found here who was calling, so I was able to get everything in order. Things should be easier than this. But thanks for this site.

URGENT...I just had to deal with them....this number belongs to  a Payment Process Center called "FISERV"   and yes they do leave this message "This is not a telemarketer call Its important you call us back at this #".  And they will keep calling no matter what.  Why, cause they paid out on your behalf, even if you dont have enough funds in your account.  So its not about the small return item fee, those you can get reversed.  Its the fact that FISERV paid out money on your behalf with out your ok.

FISERV  handles bill payments for other institutions like US Bank and many more. Sort of a 3rd party interest in your transaction.  The problem , say you made an error on the on line  payment or you did not have enough funds in your account after you did the bill pay on line.  FISERV will pay your bill any way, there is no way to stop it or cancel it or reverse it and you are on the hook for the money. Now, if the place you are paying accepts the funds, which of course they will,  you now owe FISERV the funds and if you do not pay them  your on line bill pay is now frozen for anything you want to pay.  Its a catch 22.  SO BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN USING BILL PAY...there is no room for error.

Got a couple of calls from this #, all recorded messages. They start off "This is not a telemarketer call. It's important you call us back at this #...". I think they are debt collectors.  I am BLOCKING future calls.

This is not a scam #.  It is an online billpay center you can use to pay utility bills from your bank account.  I have used it multiple x, but they tried to draw out of an account listed that I closed.  I did call them & get everything straightened out, they even waived the $15 fee.  However, it does take money from their account regardless of your bank account balance, which is irritating b/c they said that I then had a debt collection against me b/c they pay it anyways, grrrreeeaaatttt.

This is EXACTLY what I experienced too.

I had used their service for about a year with no problems, but some electrical
glitch caused my bills to be paid twice last month. I put a stop payment on
the 2nd payment of each bill & that's how I discovered that Check Free pays for each
person's bill out of THEIR account. Long story short, it is like I paid that bill twice
because I had to pay the service provider & Check Free. Needless to say, once
I settle up with them, I will NEVER use their service again. I will be warning others
not to use them as well.

I continue to get calls from this number on my cell phone that is registered with do not call.  They leave a recorded message saying that is is from my online payment service.   I use my bank, and at first I thought I might have a banking issue.  I went on line and checked my banking status and realized the phone call was not legimate.  I have reported them to do no call registy.  I have saved the number as do not answer on my cell so I know when they call it is bogus.  They should have to pay a large fine everytime they call a number on the Do not call register.

Many national and local banks that have free online bill pay actually go through this service without you knowing it. I recently had a payment issue that caused my account to go negative, and had a payment that was already processed, but not debited from my account. This meant that this service took the money for the payment from my bank, and paid the bill, but the bank hadn't yet taken the money out of my account, so I was being charged overdraft fees. I was informed by my bank that if it happened a couple times, then my online bill pay services would be suspended. Within a few days, I received a call from this number, which is the customer service department of the bill pay service My Check Free.

If you are getting calls from this number, contact your bank immediately. Check Free works for the bank, not you and they have no authority to call you. If your bank does not stop the calls, report them both to the proper authorities. Either the FDIC or the Comptroller of the Currency monitors your bank/credit cards.

I keep getting call from them. I think I know the reason why. The bank screwed up on a payment. I have to file Chp.7 and the bank snagged my  car payment for their own. They have been screwing things up for a while and now there is a problem with them calling. But my phone never rings I just get the message on the answering machine. I sent an email to my lawyer. I guess that is the best a advice is to deal with these idiots when I have the chance and talk to the bank. It is not my fault they didn't do their job correctly and they stole money from me.

We received a call from someone saying they were from US Bank (the voice sounded very distant) and asked for a person that hasn't worked here in 25 years. They were put on hold for a while. When I picked up again a recorded message was playing telling us to have that person call 1-877-800-8165. It sounded like a scam trying to get personal information.

Rec'd a call from this number, asking me to phone them back.  I called they asked for my email address.  It is the bill pay service I use through my banks online bill pay.  I made a payment and they were unable to debit my account.  I then went onto my bank's online bill pay and called the number.  I just needed to make a debit for the amount that bill pay has already made and everything would be placed back to normal.  I had a number wrong in my bill pay, so the bill pay company could not debit my account for the amount that they paid on my behalf.

I received an email from "the name of a bank where I have closed accounts"@customercarecenter.net, instructing me to contact this number to resolve a problem with "BILL PAY SERVICE" on an account that had been paid in full and was closed by me at the finanial institution.  The operator identified himself only as "John B".  He said his extension number was 34492.  He refused to discuss the issue before I supplied my social security number and verified my home address.  Obviously, I did not.  (Who would?)  Take care: Do not give your SSN to callers, for any reason.  Never verify your ID or address to strangers.  The Better Business Bureau rates Bastogne Inc a "C", stating that they have requested information from the company, but the company does not respond.  This looks like a fishing scam.

No, this is NOT a good service.  I closed my account because I had checks stolen and had no idea the bank used an outside service for bill pay. This outside company paid bills with their own money without contacting me, after the account was closed mind you, and now tells me I owe them for those bills.  Meanwhile, I had paid the same bills through my new account.  I was on the phone with this service for almost an hour and kept getting tossed around, finally ending up on the phone with my bank. The end result? Sorry, we can't help you.   I will never use online bill pay again.
