I have also been contacted by this firm....I have called and harassed them so many times in the past few days that they wont even talk to me now...LOL...Bogus Scamming debt collectors trying to collect a debt that is not even valid....ask for Katelyn, I think she is the fat girl that answers the phone, Steve Wood is gay , Rick still drinks his mothers boobie milk and Ryan well I told him he sounded very sexy and asked if he would deliver the papers in person.  Every time I asked for a number to fax a letter that I was sending to the attorney generals office along with a cease and desist they would not give me an address of fax number.  The Alex Black that keeps calling me and threatening me and called my place of employment they don't know who she is but I told them as soon as they serve me the papers they will be getting slapped with a lawsuit for violations under the FCRA...they just told me hey we refuse to mediate with you will see you in court I said oh goody I cant wait.  

If you are paying money to anyone on a scam like this , STOP RIGHT NOW.   People are not jailed over ordinary civil debts.

Report 'em to the police and local attorney general.  Depending on how you are paying them or paid them you might have to change your accounts and card numbers.  Never give financial information over the phone to anyone.  If there is a legitimate debt they MUST send you a copy of the debt and send it by US mail.  Otherwise tell 'em to go to hell!

If you were being sued you'd be served with papers.  Period.

Received a call today from 866-336-9743 saying I still owe on a payday loan and if I don't pay I'll be served papers by a process server. They had the last 4 digits of my SSN.

IF THERE IS A LEGIT CASE AGAINST SOMEONE FILED AND THERE IS A PROCESS SERVER OUT TO SERV THE SUMMONS AND COMPLAINT MORE THAN LIKELY THEY WILL HAVE THE HOME ADDRESS INFORMATION ALREADY. ALSO, THEY WOULDNT BE CALLING RELATIVES OF THE PERSON WHO THEY ARE TRYING TO SERVE. IT'S A SCARE TACTIC THAT THESE PEOPLE ARE USING TO SCAM FOLKS. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION INSTEAD INFORM THEM TO REMOVE YOUR PHONE NUMBER. ALSO GET A FAX # TO SEND THEM A CEASE AND DESIST REQUEST. IF THEY HAD ANY PAPERWORK TO SERVE THEN THE CASE # WOULD BE AVAILABLE AT THE CLERK OF COURTS.

1-877-801-6147, Person said his name was Alex.  Called my parents home # and said if I used my laptop I would lose all my information.

I called this # back, they could barely speak English.  Could not understand the name of the company I asked him to state 3 times.

While I am discussing this with my family, I receive a call on my cell from 1-954-719-6092.  I call this # back and someone named Alex answers.  Tells me he is with Gizmo Systems and they provide Global Tech Support for Windows.  Tells me the company is based in NY, CA, Australia.  I look up this company it says it is a 1 person company based out of Chicago, Il. (954) is Ft. Lauderdale based.

Same people. Server calling from an unrestricted number. I started questioning what type of legal papers she said she needed to zerve me, anx she became upset. The "case" number they give is actually their claim or record number because you can NOT verify it with the District Clerk of Court office. Scam! Telemarketers representing themselves as if they are law enforcement.

I got a call also from mike evans. Said that. There was a case against me.

Guy named Mike called from this number and said my aol account had been hacked, and wanted to sell me a $299.99 solution. I almost, but not quite fell for it. I also talked to a woman who identified herself as Jaquelin (spelled that way) who put on a wonderful sincere act. It sounds like they are broadening their scamming repertoire.

A lady named Denise Evans called from an unknown number looking for my mom with the same story as everyone else here. Gave me the number 866-237-3662 to have her call so she wouldnt get served. Used the company name Statewide Mediation Group. Be careful!!!

Go ahead and call the number they give u. When u call the number and they answer just ask for the address so you can confirm the company with the better business bureau before you give them any of your info. they hung up on me 3 Times. when i called the process. server back he never answered again

They are Totally LYING to you, The Sheriff Dept. or any Law Enforcement DO NOT GET INVOLVED IN CIVIL DEBT COLLECTIONS! Know your Rights, do some research, they are using the Sheriff as a Scare Tactic.

I have been getting harrassing calls from these people..i actually had a lady come to my juob and threaten to come back with sherriff department..so i called 1-866-459-4592 they said i was being sued for an internet loan and in order to stay out of jail i needed to make payments.   i did a couple of times and could not this last month now they are calling and harrassing again...they are rude and uncontrollable..

My mother in law just called freaking out because they called her house kooking for her daughter, my wife,  saying she is in some serious trouble and must call back immediately before getting served and possibly arrested for criminal charges no layer than 5 pm. The number was 8664594592, so I called and they got quite annoyed when I kept refusing to give my name til they told me who they were....when they eventually did tell me they said now give us your case number so I just hung up. Glad I found all this, definitely put us both at ease and I will...WILL be calling back to let them know we are on to them and dont call again

Yeah got a call from Mike Evans today. Mad @ myself b/c I ususally never answer restricted calls. Bounced around to like 3 different rude ppl trying to say I pulled some payday advance scam & I was gonna be served w/ a summons. The crazy thing is they kept talking over me when I was asking location questions and even what court. When I refused to pay & told him to come get me he just said good luck in court & hung up on me.

Threatened to come to my house.

They called and threatened my son. I asked for their address and they said they did not have one. Recorded their conversation for legal purposes their is a law against harassing in my state. If I could get their address I would have them served.

They just called. A man calling himself Mike Evans for Statewide ABR. He was looking for my mother, said a warrant was being issued for her and that she should call them if she didn't want to be arrested. I laughed and hung up. He called back and yelled at me, asking why I would hang up on such a serious phone call. I explained that I looked his 'company' up on Google and that they are a scam. They haven't called back yet.

My husband just got a call bout da same thing. They talking bout he owe money and that they are gonna to serve him some papers if he don't give him personal information and a card number. The number was 855 885 4872 I think. Claim they from Statewide Mediation. They do da same exact thing by talking over you and hanging up in your face. They full of sh*t and if they call one more time imma go da fu*k off.
