This is a bunch of crap.  Sleazy collector.  They do not abide by the Fair Debt Collection Practices requirements but rely on illegal scare tactics to get money where they can, true debt or not.  Verify NOTHING with them or you'll be stuck with calls even longer.  If ya wanna have a little fun with them start asking them "who they work for/represent" and Contact information.  Specifically adress'.  With this info you can report them to the various agencys ( Attn general, Social Security Fraud, Local law inforcement, ect.)  They WILL NOT provide you this information but will generally get hostile and resort to name calling and threats.  While this will not stop the calls, it does prove they are not valid and can be entertaining.  Many times stateing the call is being recorded, will often result in their hanging up.  If ya cannot stop the harrassment, might as well take some pleasure in it.

Got a call from this number today - coincidence that someone by nearly the same name is posting the exact comments as was received on our home machine.  Miguel Rodriguez was the "caller" from San Bernadino.  He snidely concluded the message with a "Good Luck".  Really hope people are wise enough to see past these scams.  Caller ID shows 877.349.5001 yet call back number is same as others are posting.

Received a message. The man speaking claimed to be a server for the state of California regarding a fraudulent check with the intent to defraud a financial institution with warnings that I would be served either at home or at my place of work since I did not pick up the phone. I was told I must contact the legal counsel of the plaintiffs at 877-805-4306 or else be "served". I have no idea what this is about and have not sent any fraudulent checks in an attempt to defraud a financial institution.

Some type of "fishing expedition"?
