Continual phone calls, more than 2 a day.

No the card is not a credit card it is a change to do a PREPAID debit card with fees.. CRAP.

These people just called me today and I called the number back and had myself removed from their calling list. I hope they never call again. They woke me at 8:03am and they called my cell.

Called my cell phone and left a message.  While they were calling me, I happened to be in front of the computer and I typed their number into google.com and got this website, so I didn't answer the phone.  I didn't get the company's name, but they were promising me a $10,000 credit line on a platinum card.  Their call-back number is (888)864-9519.  I hate these type of calls, so annoying!

I did not apply for credit from anyone.

Identified themselves as fortress security. They were promising me a $10,000 credit line on a platinum card.

Left no message. Calls every few days.

I also receive calls from this number everyday. This is so annoying, and I have no idea how to stop it. I was wondering how they get my cell phone number, this is the only commercial call I have ever received.

For those who want to "Get even" with nuisance phone calls, may I suggest the following ploy.
Since they are using your phone, first become listed on the Do Not Call list.
If that doesn't work. The next time telemarketer calls you using an automated dialing machine. Push *69 on your phone to get the "Last number called."
Call that number and follow directions to have your number removed from their list.  
Whenever you feel annoyed by their actions, repeat the last sentence.

If Marketer has person ready to proceed, the called phone is transferred.
If not. The called phone is terminated.

Called around 9:45am on JUne 17, 2008. Claimed I'd been pre-approved for a credit card (which I'd never applied for).

we need to target these a**holes telephone systems.  They may change their #s
but they dont change their telephone equipment or the central office etc. that serves them...OOPS!  their carrier span went down oh so sorry!
Their pbx systems had a big power spike welding all power feeds together..oh too bad!

We could all file a class action suit. Anyone want to take the lead on that. If this company has any financial status, we could take them down.

We've had a number of these 877-807-4696 calls.  Ours say press 1 to remove your number and press 9 to permanently remove your number and never have it called again.    By pressing 9 did we involve ourselves in some long distance scam?    We are on the DNC list and have an unlisted number.   My husband is quite upset.  Is he justified?

Just got a call from 877-807-4696 says I am pre-approved for 10k Platinum credit card all I had to do is press 1 to accept.  I HUNG UP!

Who does this number belong to.  I want them to stop calling my cell phone. I am registered with the do not call list.  I want this to stop NOW!

I get calls nonstop. I do not what creadit approval this about. I cannot get back through to ask them to stop calling. The line is always busy!

I think this is either the first or second time i received a call from them. Pressed 1 to be removed from their list. hoping that they will never call again.

this number calls every day while i'm at work and leaves a voicemail with the automated message. its been going on for about a month now and its getting tiring...

THESE PEOPLE CALLED ME..I CALLED BACK AND IT SAYS IM APPROVED AND DID I HAVE A BANK ACCOUNT AND IF I READ THE TERMS IF NOT THEN HANG UP AND THEY WILL CALL ME BACK IN 30 MINUTES I HOPE NOT I DONT FEEL LIKE DEALING WITH THESE PEOPLE I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT AND I DONT REMEMBER APPLYING FOR ANY CARD

Free Credit Card Offer that I never asked for

Received phone call telling me my credit application had been approved. I have made no applications and could not reach a person.

I too tried to file a complaint but got the same message as above. It is AFTER June 17, and they still give me that message. It says I can file a complaint if they call me after that date, but where do I do that?

I get at least 4 phone calls from 3 different numbers saying the same thing. I just received a call from 877-807-4696. I'm so tired if this. I do not know who to contact to complain. I'm on the do not call list but this is happening to me on my cell.

These little F@#$kers call me at work and on my cell and they are pi$$ing me off. I try to call them back but I keep getting the same stupid a@@ recording. I am on the verge of cancleing all of my services and changing my numbers if they do not stop calling. If anybody knows how I can get them to stop calling let me know.

There is a website called reverse phone detective. It does cost a fee to setup but it is worth it. All you do is type the number in and it comes back with there name and where they are calling from. Unfortuntley these little a@@holes are smart they are calling from Los Anglas but there name does not show up. Check it out you might find more.
