Thats harassment and completely against the law! I wish there were some way to find these scammers and bring them down !!!!

I just received a call from this number, answered and an automated system put me on hold.  I called back a couple minutes later and it put me on hold once again....several times. Can't get a live person to answer.  I don't care who it is....you shouldn't call someone from an 800 number at 8:30 at night.

I got a call on my cell from 877-808-9098. When I called back from my work phone they said CBCS ow may I help you? I said i had received 2 missed calls on my cell. They said hold opn, after a minute the phione just imidiately hung up. This is I believe a scam.

The number 215-435-3273 sent me a text message that said, "Hi (My Name). I recieved your resume for the Clerical Position and would like to do a phone interview with you. Please call me at 877-808-3878."

Who are these people?

I repeatedly 1. 01/18/10, at 12:38pm and later 01/18/10,at 1:40 pm with no messages left . I request this stop as I have to turn my phone off and there goes my phone needs. This is not necessary. Please stop.

They called today - said "debt collection" - could not understand # to call back - I researched for CBCS since I found the name here - their main # is in Columbus Ohio - 800-395-8289 - the young lady on the phone was pleasant, told me the name they were calling for; I informed her that I have had the # for 5 1/2 years, no one even close to that name here.  Although nasty getting these calls, they are trying to collect debt in many cases that is owed; many times by dead beats - so if you call, go in to it that it may just be a bad research as the credit bureaus and data collection companies compile and combine data from multiple sources - so mixing your information into the fray CAN occur by mistake.

This company calls twice a day, at least once a week. It's always computerized and does not offer a name or number. It's on my caller ID so now I ignore it but it goes to voice mail and is always the same. Says if you are not this person press 2. I did once and it just said "when will this person be home". What an annoyance!

In most cases the statue of limitations has expired. These collection agencies buy old debts and don't validate the validity of the debt. Do not call and make any payment arrangements as this starts the 7 years over. Most of the time when the collection agencies buy the debt the 7 years has expired. Example: I have one that the 7 years is up and the collection agency is calling me. Look at the letter sent  from the collection agenty as in most cases there are many violations in their letter. There are lawyers that will handle without any upfront money. If you don't win you don't pay anything. And if you win the lawyer will subtract any monies due him and send you a check for your part. The sooner we get class action suits started against collection agencies the better.

Caller left a pre-recorded message. Returned call, spoke with a very nice young lady who assisted in submitting disputes and offered to send out more paperwork.

Peoples Energy hires them.  They are trying to get money for a bill that was not mine but a long gone tenant from 2005!!!.  They know this.  So they kick it over to this bs company because they cannot legally get the money.  So this company just calls and hangs up.  What a joke.

I just got a call from "Kathleen" calling for "Sonar Kim". First of all, who the hell is that person? I surely don't know or will ever know. I've had this number for about 5 years. WTF, I have already registered my name and number on the Do Not Call list for the government. I've also filed reports with the government. BUT THEY'RE STILL CALLING! AHHH! They've called me several times before, but I usually don't pick up. This time I just wanted to mess around with someone because they need to understand to take my number of their list, but EVERYTHING was automated. So irritating.

Hard to understand foreign person who asked for the last four digits of my Soc.Sec. # and if I could verify my address. Asked him where he was calling from and rattled off a bunch of initials and that they were a collection agency. Told him that was real funny because I didn't owe anybody anything. He got kind of snotty when I wouldn't verify that it was me he was talking to. I hung up on him after I told him I didn't believe him when he told me he was calling me from America.

Calling for a individual by the name of Constance Morris....Go figure. I asked to be removed from the list and they called back the very next day!

This company called me with a name that has had nothing to do with our phone number for the last 20 years or more.  Go to the DONOTCALL complaint list and file a complaint.  We need thousands of complaints to have them taken down.

I answered my cell when this number appeared, but no one spoke.

Call recieved it was a computer telling me to call Tom at 800/947.???? couldn't get the rest of the number it was such a computerized voice and spoke to fast... but strangest part was when I called the number that called me, they said they where UBCS... I don't know what it is but they sound like collection company...
