More time passes, more scam calls.  Some new numbers, the same familiar patterns.  Even got a rare Sunday call from this "CA" number, and on Easter no less:

Received a call same number from "US Mortgage" asking me to refinance my mortgage

keep getting calls on an unlisted business line on the do not call list to refinance a mortgage.  :-(

We got a call from this number a few days ago and as soon as the man said, "How are you today?", I hung up.

This morning we got a call from the same number. A woman with an accent that was difficult to understand spoke about some kind of community effort that was going to provide me with something -- I think a home security system -- for free. I told her they might give me something for free and then charge a monthly fee. She said oh, no, it is a community effort and it is free. I told her I thought it was a scam and I was going to report her to the police. She said fine. I don't think she understood English. When she first talked, she said she was calling for the Community Action something or other.

I got a call from this number at 7:50 PM.  Called the number back after I had dinner, and told them I don't give a rat's a** about what they're selling and told them to take my number off their list.  She said OK and goodbye.  I"ll see how this plays out.

Forgot to mention that he had a bit of an Indian accent. Surprise, surprise.

Some guy called for my grandmother by name. I had asked what this was about and he said something to the affect of locating homeowners. I was like, "What?" I then asked what this was about and he asked me if I was the homeowner. I said, 'no.' So he continues that he cannot disclose the information. I just told him 'if you can't tell me that then I won't let you talk to her. He hung up. Good riddance. My grandmother just turned 95. There's no way in hell that I was going to let him to talk to her anyway. Scumbag!!!!

They called me about security!!  Really!!

Called me to offer a free material & installation deal with a sign on my lawn, for a home security
system.  It would be free if I allowed the sign outside my home as an advertisement for them.The caller a woman with a hilarious accent and speaking in a helluva hurry, or hurried speech by her "culture" . Why would I allow some unknown installer to install a security system & they would be the best people to know how to bypass their own system ? They claimed that they are not selling anything because everything is free, therefore they are not violating the Do-Not-Call legislation. Why call from California to Connecticut to offer a free system ? I insulted her, as we all should, and hung up. Obviously, I wouldn't travel from CT to CA just to
wring their throats, that's their "security system". Don't give out any personal information at these calls, though.

just got a call.  didn't answer.  looked up #.  I have blocked the # on my cell phone.

Called my cell and took a minute for them to come on the line when I answered.  Calling about home security systems apparently.  I asked to be taken off their calling list and they hung up on me.  Jerks!

If you truly overpaid on your electric bill, they would credit you on your next months bill, not call you about it. I once accidentally overpaid a bill to my phone company and they credited the overage on my next bill, I am sure most if not all utility companies would do the same thing.

JUST WISH THESE LOSERS WOULD FIND A JOB THEY WOULD BE PROUD TO TELL THEIR CHILDREN ABOUT. AND YOU WONDER WHY THE WORLD IS A COMPLETE DISASTER?
