Have received several calls from unknown number asking for a manager wanting to know procedure to serve papers on an employee. They say they are with PSD Processing Service Division they give a false number when I called the number back they claim to be a hotel reservation answering service. Claim that they have papers to service and that they will send a person to arrest the employee.... NUMBER ONE THERE IS NOT A DEBTOR'S JAIL IN THE United States and all papers to be legal have to be served through the courts .

Got a phone call from this number and they said its the process and serve division and if I dont call them back in 3 hours they will send a uniformed officer out for me. Sounds like a bill collector using scare tactics to me. Anyone else have this happen?

Fake collection agency
They called me regarding an old credit card I had long time ago, he said that they're the middle man between me & some collection company. He said that the collection company is going to fill a lawsuit against me and that he's trying to protect me by settling it. I google searched the name of that collection agency which he mentioned, and I found that they are no longer in business. The guy wanted my debit card # or checking account number. I told him let me see the paper work first, I haven't received anything in the mail. He said I can't send you anything we need the money before the end of the month. So. I replied fax me the paper work first, and he said I can't do that.... What kind of collection company is that,  doesn't even send out paper work and can't fax out...

They state that a lawsuit has been filed, nothing has been found or seen.

Your a joke thats not even what they say and its not a scam . I bet most of you dont know they actually go threw with court, well I know because I have a judgement against me now and its on my credit report. Please dont think that you are smarter than anyone because in the end when you play hard boy or girl you are the one regretting it when you owe all that money plus more. Besides what is wrong with you if you borrow money and never pay it back what kind of person are you? now I have to pay 3 times the amount I orginally had with the card. So good luck to you :D

Do you work for them? You must because if you dont then you deserve what you got.   So many illegal tactics and ways to avoid this how would you let a judgement get put against you from that long ago?

They did the exact thing to me but somehow got ahold of my Uncle in Tennessee, im not sure how because I live in California.  They are breaking laws by doing this.  I dont know about you but I have reported them

Okay so I get the call..blah blah, His name is Michael Hall, and has a court ordered document that he must serve, If I fail to respond, I will have a warrant for my arrest issued, gave the case# and the  877-811-9732, and said I needed to call back within the next few hours..to schedule a in person delivery of the court document, when I told him "That person was'nt here but he will be home in 45 minutes, and he should come serve him here, He claimed that he worked with the sherriffs dept and does the process serving for  them, I said "he will be home soon and will probably be here all night so come serve him/me... he stated that he just needs him to call and schedule a time to be served.. I prodded him, and asked for all the info, so I could relate the message, i asked for his address, which he gave as 1191 magnolia ave, los angeles. ca 90032,  I then googled the address and it is near 12th street and magnolia, and is a residential area, and NOT in 90032.. i then asked him to be specific, does he work for the Los angeles county courts/sheriff dept, and he said they are a process service for the sherriffs, I asked again, why a warrant could'nt be mailed if that was the case # already.. he reiterated that he/I needed to call asap...I must admit.. he was good, but if he was really a process server.. he would just serve it.. it's all B.S... hope they go to jail for violation of the fair debt collection act that ALL collection agencies must work under.

I almost forgot when I asked where they were calling from they said CA.

Need to have these fools to stop calling people on their jobs.  This is the name they use when answering the phone.

Just had someone call from unknown  number twice first was a hangup. Second was a young female that said I had 3 hours to call or I would be served said that I was either being charged with a criminal or civil suit. Said I had 3 hours to call. 1-877-811-9732 said her name was a Lisa Smith.

Got a phone call. No message left.

got a phone call today from "michael hall" from the process server division from the state of kansas. he stated that if i did not call 877-811-9732 within 24 hrs and give the case #, then they would send a uniformed officer out to serve me. when he called, the phone # was blocked, so unsure where the original call came from. I am not calling these idiots back.

Dont ever call these numbers back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. They are a Scam! Charges $20 plus per/minute. Scammers use recordings and real persons to dup you into believing a warrant, family, or some sort of critical matter needs your promt attention.

reced phone call from someone at my work place. said her name was lisa and she had a summons for me.could not provide any additional info, just gave me a case number and the 877-same thing. warrant to serve me...i called the number and it was a 'collection' agency who answered 'corporate office'. they did the same scare tactic. i got my attorney involved. called them back and asked them to send docs to my attorney. this has been 3 weeks and have not seen anything yet.

Same thing happened to me. The first call came from a Devon from City Investments Corporate Office  who said I was being sued from a company I never heard of from 9 yrs ago and if I didn't pay the whole $3,500 that day or agree to a 12 month payment plan, I would be taken to court and have to pay $6,000 and they would take everything I own and my income tax check for as long as it takes to pay it off. I didn't and now a Michael Hall who says hes process server has been calling me from a blocked number with threatening messages saying he knows where I live and said if I didn't call 877-811-9732 within 24 hrs and give the case #, then they would send a uniformed officer out to serve me. I didn't call so he called the company I work for and told them he had a court warrant to serve me and couldn't find me, so he wanted to serve it to my boss if I didn't call the 877 number that day. Now I have to get the police involved.

I was contacted by this number and I thought hey whatever Im not scared but then they contacted my employer saying that I was going to be served these documents. I told them BRING IT! And well they did. I was served court documents at my work and I showed up to the court hearing. I now currently have a judgement against me because they found me guilty and I had to pay my princple, interest, plus court and attorney fees. So this number is not a joke if you think that you are so wrong! If I were you people I would handle this before you go to court and get a judgement against you. GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU OUT THERE!!!!!!!! Believe me this is not a scam, I wish it was but its not!

I was called 3 times they even left a message on my husbands vm. They offered me an out of court deal i denied the offer. They said i was going to be served, i said serve me!! I was served at my place of employment how embarrassing.. I did go to court i ended up settling with them. I will never get another credit card in my life!!!!!!

do u owe the money or not? pay your bills then you won't have to worry  about so called phony phone calls

you never mentioned if you owed the money,maybe if you paid your debts,no one would be calling you.

that doesn't sound so bizarr to me if i was a process server i would want to call and cordinate a time and place to serve the person i was looking for.they only  get paid  75 to 271 to serve people,sounds like a good way to use modern tech  to me.
