Called them back,they identified themselves,said if I had a case.# they could take me off list.I said I do not have any loans out & previous person with my # had lots of calls. on my vm they said they had my ss down on application.just what r they really after?

Things happen to people that are sometimes out of their control. This does not give collectors the right to lie and harass anyone. However, I can always fall back on the fact that I can speak and write proper English something you could use help with.

The same losers are still at it. Called me looking for my brother. I guess they are taking "brother's keeper" literally. He's an adult as am I. Why would he be here? Such BS. They told me it was a "legal matter" so they wouldn't discuss but wanted to leave a number in case he calls. It was 7:36am here in Texas. I was sleeping. He said it was 8:36 there so I guess he is east coast BS.

I received a call from this company at approximately 10:45am stating they were contacting me about possible fraudulant activity on my social security card.  It was for a Discover Card in Ohio.  The bill, according to this guy, was over $10,000.00, but they would be willing to reduce the amount so that I would not be prosecuted, have to pay a fine or possibly go to jail since Ohio has a law that allows them to prosecute anyone suspected of trying to fraud a company.  Once I got him to stop talking and listen to me, I told him I had never had a Discover Card. He said, "Well, you can go to the Police and file a complaint".  Some information was verified, of course one of the addresses linked to this account was a place and state I had never lived in and the other, of course, was my current address.  How they got me current address, he said, he didn't know.  The SS# didn't match.    When I started requesting information to make the report, all of sudden it's possible it is just a case of mistaken identity.  I received an apology.  I called the number back to get the name of the company since he would not repeat it.  He called me back and left a message on my answering service wanting to know why I was contact the police.  It was a case of mistaken identity and if the police contacted them, he was going to tell them that.  So, if I wanted to discuss the matter with him to call him back.

They said I broke federal laws and wanted my phone number, wouldn't tell me who they were.  I wouldn't give them my phone number and just said, if I broke a federal law, send me papers.

Recieved numerous calls from this number and won't explain who they are

this entire agency is a joke, they have called me at 6am and have left messages at my home 2 times in one day. they have took money from my account on days i didn't authorize beacuse i declined 3 days before which i believe is illegal. they have told me i had an affidavid, a warrant for my arrest, told me they were lawyers and a man name Tom Lombarro has told me he was coming to my job and got me suspended for 2 weeks because he has called numerous time to my job. those calls stopped & no one showed up & took me to jail. I've been lied to, robbed & almost lost my job. well guess what prism i have a real attorney and every threating message has been saved, the past conversations i've had with samantha steinbuger have all been recorded i have my phone records pulled, My bank statements where u have stolen money, the agreement letter which didnt state you would take money from my account all the time & any amount until You got what you wanted. & to Chris Morrow I think You have a group of terrible employees and your company will be shut down & you will recieve those court papers soon. This is great to know that i paid over 1200 with your company & just because your employees lied about who they were and didn't follow the ftc rules you will be paying me the 1200 i gave you plus 8 times more. A message was left that there was an affidavit in their office regarding me passing a bad check in the state of Ohio.  I am sure this is related to a defaulted payday loan (which is not the same as passing a bad check.)  I will be keeping the messages and then file suit if they continue to use lies and misleading scare tactics.

Just got a call from someone at that number. Sounded like the girl said Prism Associates. Said the attorneys at her firm looked at my case, which is now a federal case, and said because I declined a payment agreement (which I never did) they were going to send my case to the local authorities and because I haven't answered their call they will take it as a guilty plee. I have never gotten any letters from them. They have called my parents house and said there's a signed affidavit having to do with a check I had written to the state. This is all nonsense. These people are liars and are using scare tactics. I'm going to be reporting them today.

Same story. They called today saying some ficticious person with a name similar to mine had complaints filed against them and they should call back with some fake "case" number. Just a trick to get you to call so they can verify your number. Times are tough but how dumb do you have to be to try & scam people?

My parents received a call for me, but a Samantha said she was with Strickland Assoc. I have not been able to find anything about Strickland and the number I looked up comes back to Prism so not sure who it is. Would be glad to pay should they actually be able to tell me who they are what the moneyed is owed on.

this part of the message is to "GET A LIFE", who are you to be saying things like that to people you don't even know.

They are looking for my ex husband & his wife! Hope they are able to collect their money! Wish his creditors would stop calling me we have now been divorced for over 6 years almost 7! I pay my debts my husband & myself dont't like getting thes calls!

This people are really NUTS!!! Ms. Heather Sanchez called me a liar because I told her I was unemployed and could not pay what she was asking me to pay her. I said if the debt is real then send it to the courts here in Nevada and I will tell them I have no job. I can may payment arrangements. She said you have never been late on your carnote. It's in my name but its not my car how many parents have cars in their names and the kids pay the note??? Im sure plenty do....

What does that mattter anyway. So they stopped for a few weeks now Jermaine Walker is calling me leaving messages on someone else's phone. I never listed this number, I called them back from the number and now they have taken it upon themselves to just keep calling.

They called my daughter today (8-24-11) at 1:12 pm CST. She has not lived with us since 1999! They mumbled their name in a garbled message. (Way to go dumb-a** -ruin your credibility in less than 5 seconds) They stated they were calling about future "legal proceedings". They allegedly had an affidavit signed by a notary and wanted my daughter or her lawyer to call them back. (NOT HAPPENING) These liars are lame, pathetic and preying on people. My daughter is a victim of identity theft. She has had to fight these people since 2003. Lawyers cost several hundred $$ an hour and she cannot afford that. Is there is no one willing to fight these a**-holes?

These people are calling me and being very rude.  I do not owe this money and have told them to process it through collection if they think it's owed.  I will deal with them from there!  However, i do not want these people calling me again.

Caller identified he was from Prism Associates, stumbled in pronouncing my name, mumbled something about fraud and a lawsuit against me.  Then he gave a claim number that also was unclear because of mumbling.  I felt he was using a scare tactic to get me to call that number.
