The initial call came to me from 214.258.0032 and the male speaking left a voice message.  I dialed that number back and got a busy signal.  The voice mail message stated that they needed to speak with me to verify my MetroPCS order and directed me to call 877.817.8432 and a lady answered, claiming to be named, Ingrid.  When I told her that I would not verify my billing address information over the phone to a company that was not MetroPCS she told me that my order would be canceled. When I asked to speak with her supervisor she replied that there was no supervisor for this issue and hung up.  I Googled the sender's email address and nothing was found.

Got a call from 877-817-8432 stating that they wanted to verify a purchase I made with Justice. They could not give me _ANY_ details about my purchase and wanted personal information from me. I told them if they could not provide any information to verify they were not a scam that I would hang up... they continued to pressure me but provided no details and seemed very fishy.

Somebody needs to shut them down.

Same from my side. Same call with same reason.

I got a call saying my Online order from MetroPCS needed to be verifed... that any agent could help me, I just needed to call the 1-877-817-8432.  However the message actually came from a Dallas number of 214-258-0032.  And I had purchased nothing online that day OR from MetroPCS ever.

Got an answering machine message from this number and listened to the recording four times and STILL couldn't tell who it was from.  Caller had a heavy accent and the connection was very static-y.  I could make out the phone number, and called it.  Was regarding a Shopko order I had placed online, asking about the different billing and shipping addresses.  Unlike an individual reporting earlier on a similar call, I have had these calls before from other companies regarding differing addresses, particularly during the holiday season.  Shopko should make sure that their callers are understood and that they use a more reliable contact mechanism.

I ordered from Justice and got this email. Called the number and it said I won a trip to the Bahamas. WTF?!

Got a call and voicemail from this message after placing an order with Shopko. I called back and they had me repeat my name, address and explain why my cell phone area code is different than my shipping address area code. It certainly didn't feel right and hasn't been a necessary step in any other order I've ever placed.

Message is asking to call to confirm an order.

I posted this message two days ago. When The Limited's customer service lines were open again the following day I called (not the phone number listed here - the one on their website). They confirmed that this message was sent on their behalf by a service they contracted with, and it was not a scam or prank. I urged them to address some of the issues with this message, as it looks identical to a scam. I hope they do take some positive action! I can only assume that the previous post about this phone number was authentic too, but I do not know.

I also just received an email asking me to verify my order ... it does not have any official logos from the company, and the email domain is not from the company. BEWARE!!! The text says:

Dear Valued Customer:

As a security precaution for our customers, we are contacting you to verify your order.

We want to clarify the order as being valid, and to prevent your identity and/or payment information being compromised.

Please call us at 1-877-817-8432. Agents are available from 6am until Midnight EST.

Contact us within 24 hours to verify the order, as the order will be canceled if we do not have confirmation.

I received an e-mail with this phone number in it, requesting I call it to "verify an order I had just placed with Justice"????? VERY FISHY!!!!!! The e-mail was NOT official, NO Justice logos, nada....So whats up w/this phone #???
