basically your getting paid in gift cards or  free hotel stay to listen to 2 hour pressentation,
there is definitely pressure
they make offer sound good
the concept of being able to stay in lots of different places with points
is better for someone who is considering getting a second home, but instead of being stuck vacationing
for 2 weeks a year in the same place, you get the advantage of lots of other places to visit

on the other hand... no everyone can say no

if you actually want a time share...then definitely consider going !
you get gift card and so on...
as for the free airline or hotel... the catch is that if you use hotel for free... you have to pay for airline
or if you get free airline, the hotel you stay at, you have to pay for...
you can save money...but its not a truely free ticket with no strings attached
if your going anyway and would have to pay for both! then its a great deal.

so inconclusion NOT a scam         but some pressure to buy,
Mr.B

We received about 4 calls from Gateways Northern before my wife finally picked up the phone this morning. It turns out  my wife, against my advise, filled out a form at Meadowbrook this summer. Now we "won" 4 airline tickets to anywhere in the U.S.  Luckily my wife said "not interested" and hung up. Lesson learned. Also, all the people who are posting in broken English about how wonderful an experience it is, must be paid employees or twelve years old and today is their first day on the Internet.

I filled out a coupon at Meadowbr0ook for free tickets and it was instead Gateways Northern, and her name was Lucy, and she was advising me of 4 free tickets to anywhere, as long as i attended a 90
minute presentation for Concierge services. So beware unless you want to have someone do everything for you, Like a Concierge, AT A Price.  I checked and to join is 30.00 a month, and then you pay each service you want, .

I foolishly filled out three different "lotteries" promising $50 gift cards to various stores in Concord, NH. Due to this, three different people called and told me that I had won - I apparently was very lucky that week. The call came from a William Ellis, who asked me to call him back at 877 819 5072. He kept calling me every other day for over a week before I answered. He claimed that I would have to drive to northern Maine to claim a price of $5,000. According to him this was not a con, not a time-share etc. etc. etc. He got very upset when I declined. I definitely learned not to participate in gift card lotteries.

Rec'd call from 603-718-1050 from Gateways Northern (as it appeared on my caller id).  "Linda" left a message on my voicemail saying, just like all the others that reported on here, she was calling because I completed an entry form for a wonderful gift package which was waiting to be claimed by me.  I just need to call back this number: 877-819-5072 to claim it and ask for "Linda" who will be in the office until 12:30pm. Never filled out entry form.  Deleted message and googled both numbers and found this reporting forum.  Beware of scams people!

I made the mistake of filling out one of the forms at the Creed show as well. "Alana" keeps calling, using this return number and saying that "The prizes they have selected for me is blah/blah/blah" After a few messages, I finally answered one of the calls. She started in with the "Calling about the entry form you filled out", etc.
So I interrupt and tell her that the manner in which my information was obtained was not truthful or above board, so anything further to that would be a waste of both of our time. So she gets snotty, saying "You don't even know why I'm calling". Uh, yes I do, you've left me 3 messages so far. So I repeat "the manner in which my info was obtained" line. But she kept trying, so I hung up.
The "deal" when they were asking for people to fill out the forms was for free tickets to an upcoming show, in which you had to agree to come up on stage during the Creed show to accept the tickets. There was no give away, and no one was "called up" during the show. Once that happened (or didn't happen) I knew it was a cheap marketing ploy. (I was pretty sure when I was filling out the form, but there was no doubt by the end of the show.)
And, 3 minutes after I talked to her I was checking my messages, when a new message arrives. It was her again, leaving the same message!! Apparently, she forgot about our conversation....

Great show by the way. Went backstage afterwards, hung out until about 3 AM.

The message sounded like a call center that stuffed 20 people in a cube with phones, everyone trying to talk over the person next to them. It's some vacation resort place trying to get your money. Pay couple hundred to get couple thousand dollar vacation, how do they find me?

9am this morning 2/24/2010 i received a voice message from 603-546-6230 asking me to call 877-819-5072 and ask for Trisha Demurs. Another woman answered and the background sounded like murmurs of a boiler room, after one minute Trisha answered and said because i completed a raffle entry card recently at the Maine Home and Garden Show that my card was drawn and I was selected to receive the First Top Gift Package worth $4500, that it was four roundtrip airfair tickets to FL, cazumel, Paris, Aruba, ...other locations, only required I stay 3 nights at one of their approved accommodations such as Marriott and cost could be as low as $69 per night, and I needed to make a 90-minute appointment with Innseason Resort on Route 1 in Ogunquit, ME to learn about their company and my winning. I repeatedly asked to receive details in an email message or by snail mail, each time Trish was aggravated and said I would be told everything at my appointment. I kept asking how many won this and she kept replying saying I had been selected. She wanted to verify my salary and I would not and she was angry and said I did not qualify and that we wasted 15 minutes talking. I apologized taking 15 minutes of her time, and said I thought her manner was unfair and not professional and that I would report her to the Better Business Bureau, she hung up. Come to think of it Maine has a scam alert office with the Maine Atty General's office, so I will alert them also.

I was told that they have a package for me at the front desk with my name on it and I should call 1-877-819-5072 and ask for Dick Lucy (?).   The number on my caller ID was 603-880-0735.  Buyer beware, if it sounds to good to be true then it probably is. Of course, I won't be calling to claim my package - it's just ridiculous.

Wow!  Thanks to this page it saved me from wasting my time with these people.  They got my name and number from Meadowbook when I went to see Creed in August.  You'd think that Meadowbrook wouldn't sell you out, but I guess you can't trust anyone with your information anymore.  So does this mean that the same venue that I gave my credit card number to, sold my phone number?  Hmmmm...

I received a call from this number, too. InnSeason wanted me to come to Cape Cod or Maine to pick up our prize package and get a tour of a resort. They claimed I signed up for a contest at King Richard's Faire. Annoying.

Just received a voicemaill from Jackie about a raffle I entered at King Richards Faire. I supposedly had won the top prize. Now the raffle I filled out at the faire was for $5,000 worth of gas. The booth did not say anything about the company that was running the raffle or that they would call back, no gimmicks just fill out the form with name, age, address, phone #, and we will draw the winner. My friends and I were under the impression that the booth was run by the faire and we would receive a gift card.

After reading this post and many others I will not be calling back, I am 23 and newly out of college no way will I buy a Timeshare at this age. If the booth was honest I would not have filled out the ticket in the first place. The number that called was 603-546-5251 and told me to call back at 877-8195072.

Mr. Bob Evans,

I never once worked for any of these people.  I lost thousands of dollars and have little recourse.  You obviously don't know what kind of people you are dealing with and my hope is to help avoid the same suffering. You may also check with the Massachusetts Attorney General or the Barnstable Registry.  Bill Curran  also ripped off people at the Ocean Mist, something I forgot to mention. Bill Curran also stole money from his own employees - did you research that?  I have left my e-mail address--where is yours?

Received a call from Amanda using the call back number 877-819-5072.  Filled out some slip at the NH Green Living Expo in Portsmouth.  Also said that this was the largest giveaway yet and that my name was drawn this morning (insert eyeroll here).  I have to go to Ogunquit to pick up my prize.  She said I could bring the kids too.  Yeah, I really want to bring an ADHD 5 yr old and a 4 year old to sit through a 3 hour presentation...um, no!

I realize this is quasi-legit, but I don't feel like playing their games....Not calling back as well....

Woman named Linda called for my boyfriend, saying that he won 4 round trip tickets from the contest he entered at the home show.  (He didn't enter any contests for trips, just drawings for gift cards to local businesses.)  She said to call back, but that she was only going to be there that day and the next from 8am to 1pm.

I also filled out a drawing at a Home Show here in RI.  It had nothing to do with this resort but I guess they sell the info or something.  Anyway, I've received two calls telling me I have been selected for a prize.  Both had different 877 numbers.  The last one came up 603 546 6230 on caller ID (Curran Mngmt) and left a message to call 877 819 5072.  My wife warned me about this when I filled out the form at the show but I didn't listen (as usual)!

Innseasons  is a good company who offers nice vacation destinations.  The way marketing works is someone from the marketing department buy leads from companies that offer giveaways( ever filled out a form to win a free trip?, that is how he or she that contacts you is authorized to invite you to the company and receive free incentives for doing so.)  It is NOT  a scam it is a legitimate way to market for potential new owners to come check it out with no obligation.  Worse case scenario you get a FREE trip out of the deal.  I am glad I checked it out, and now I have lots of exciting places to go relax and unwind at. Hey lifes not for everybody, but it is definitely for us!

Obviously most people on here are making assumptions, cmon man "human trafficking"  LOL!  They give you some certificates to preview their vacation club, most people are getting traveling certs for coming so it makes sense to show you a vacation savings plan while your there since they are basically paying for your time.  Its not a scam I attended a presentation and my body was not transported to europe for trafficking, we got our certificates and got to hear about a wonderful alternative to paying rent and a way to stay in great resorts in many exotic locations.  Thats my two cents and thank you Innseasons, Vegas was great!  If you dont like to vacation dont take advantage of there travel offer, if the idea of something enhancing your quality of life and the time you spend with your family interests you, check it out!
